Can't believe the bad reviews. For $1.50 their Italian hoagies are as good as you need. I've been enjoying them for 16 years now with no complaints. Great value. Update 3/7/13: Italian Hoagies are up to $2.50. Still a bargain. read more

I have grown up on Roseanna's pizza and hoagies until today, June 11 2017. I called to place a very usual order at nine o'clock eastern standard Time and was informed that my order could not be completed as they were no longer "making pizza" due to the fact they were closing at ten o'clock eastern standard Time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the sole purpose of a pizza place is to "make pizza". The terrible attitude and the suggestion for me to speak to a manager was enough for me to permanently cross them off my list and discard their deceitful menu. But then I began to think about their cheap ingredients, their unambitious staff, and their mostly tasteless offerings. Do yourself a favor and do not travel to the ass crack of West Scranton to support these lazy people. You will thank me later. read more

Just got a steak and cheese from here and by no means was it good. First of all the steak they use was not bad at all but they way they cook it is just not the way it should be done I think a steak and cheese should be cooked on a hot grill with fried onions they cook there steak and the Onions in the pizza oven so it baked and not that good also there buns seem to be hotdog buns not a good semi hard hoagie roll the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the steak they use is pretty good and this could have been a good hoagie if just grilled and on a better roll read more

Expect to wait much longer than whatever time they tell you that your order will be ready. The last three times I ordered from here, my pizza was late by an average of thirty minutes. The first time was a weekend, so I figured they must have been overwhelmed with orders. The second was during the week, but we'd had company and a rather large order. The third time was the charm: a weeknight and a small order, and still a ridiculously long wait time beyond what we were told. There is also nowhere to sit or even stand comfortably while you wait. Got two trays of pizza, one plain red one white broccoli, they messed up the broccoli so we took it back to get a new one and I got unbelievable attitude from them. Pizza isn't even that good to go through the hassle of that bs, won't be going back again! read more

The best round pizzas anywhere. Fresh dough for round and double crust, great tasting toppings and the large round is really more like an extra large. Bigger than the large at most other restaurants. Prices are very reasonable and the quality is excellent. Take out only. Wish they had eat in with available alcoholic beverages. West Scranton location. Never tried second location. read more

The Italian hoagies are very good (my favorite) I never had the porketta, but my sister and brother - in - law love them. The pizza is also good. You can't beat their prices either. Only wish they delivered, but well worth the trip. read more

Okay, I use to love Roseanna's Hoagies. They were cheap and good! I have never seen the girls that work there actually make my hoagies because I always call my order in. When I go to pick up my order I always see a girl wearing gloves to make the hoagies. Well, that all changed the one day when I called in a pizza instead. When I got there to pick up my pizza I was the only one in there, but three seconds later a man walked in behind me. One older woman reached for my pizza and the man said "give me an italian hoagie". Well the young girl he had given his order to, took my money to pay for my pizza. After giving me change she went over to make his haogie and stuck her hand in the meat. Then she applied the lettuce. SHE HAD NO GLOVES ON THIS TIME. She just touched money, then she touched someones food, but she also stuck her hand in the meat container so thats even worse. SoSOSOSOSo gross. Never again. Something like that grosses you out. I told her that was disgusting and she said nothing. It only takes one time to make you never eat someowhere again. read more

I have been a customers of Roseanna's in west scranton for years. They recently expanded their menu items. I felt daring and tried the chicken parm sub., this was pretty disappointing. The chicken was not breaded, just chunks of diced chicken, the same diced chicken as they would use in their salads, with some sauce and cheese over it. The chicken was rubbery and chewey. I could not eat it, wiped most of it off the sub and had a sauce and cheese sub. I would expect that their new hot wing sub has the same type of chicken on them. They are cheap for 4.00 but the ingredients they use are cheap for certain things. The italian hogies, are good, so are the turkey and roast beef. Steak and cheese from them i had better, the steak was ok but was not finely chopped and was chewey. I just think they should let the customer know the type of chicken they are getting when they order the chicken parm. as what they give you is not the norm. The pizza is so so, if your starving, and want something cheap, but the ingredients used for them do taste cheap. Avoid the chicken! read more
