I got my nails done here for St. Patrick's Day and Rose did an awesome job! I asked for clovers on my nails and even though they had never painted those on nails before, she took the time to draw a few out and was able to give me what i asked for! Thank you Rose : ) read more

Having just moved to the area from Lincoln Park I've been looking for a good nail salon. I've been to Rose's two or three times and it is by far the best salon in the area: Rose is very nice, she greets you and makes you feel welcome. All the techs that I have had have been very good. Even like the massage chairs and TV going. Price is reasonable for the quality. The ONLY thing that I dislike (and I've noticed that alot of the salons in this area do this as well) is that after they massage all that nice lotion into your hands, they tell you to go wash your hands. I can't stand that. For one, it interrupts my relaxation and second, it washes all the lotion off. I find myself grabbing lotion on as soon as I get home because my hands are dry. The exceptional nail salons use a wet cloth and polish remover to get the lotion off just your nails, leaving your hands feeling soft and silky and smelling yummy. If Rose's salon didn't make you wash all the lotion off your hands, it would be on my list of exceptional salons! But I would still go back at the last minute, I'd just be sure to bring a bottle of lotion with me to reapply after the manicure. read more

Oh hell yes. This place was an easy choice for me since it's on the way to my parent's house. My husband dropped me off (I was a walk-in), returned a bathing suit at the Land's End down the way, and came back and I was ready. They are timely, efficient, precise, and CHEAP AS HELL. My pedicure was $20 or $25 - I can't remember but I can tell you it lasted for over a month with compliments leading up to the last week. Although compliments on toe nails are strange - I'll take them. They have a parking lot if that's a concern. No foot razor either - yay. I'm a big fan of this place with only one exception - the overuse of the damn massage chair. If I turn it off, it's because I don't like the hard plastic ball rolling down my back. Don't keep turning it back on and pretend you don't see me wincing. That's my only complaint. Goodbye overexpensive Wicker Park, I'm getting my toes did in Norwood. read more

If your feet are sensitive, make an appointment to get a pedicure with Kim! She's very gentle and she takes her time while painting so your toes end up looking really good! My mom, my sister, and I are also really ticklish and if you let Kim know, she won't scrub too hard. They also just recently got new massage chairs and they're awesome!! read more

My friend has been going here for a long time and after dinner at a place right down the street, we came here for a little pampering. The place was hopping but upon entering, the technicians said hello and they even know my friend by name! She got a mani/pedi and I only got a mani. I was able to sit next to my friend during her pedicure and use the massage chair while chatting. When a technician was available for my manicure, I got one of the most detailed manicures I've had in a while. She took her time but it didn't feel long. I picked out OPI Mrs. O'Leery's BBQ and I love the color. The cost? $10. You can not beat that price and hospitality. It's about 20 minutes away from my house but I'm coming here for my manicures! read more

Worst experience ever! I went there for a polish change on my toes and a manicure. It took a total of 15 minutes for both! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! The girl didn't ask me what I wanted (shape or length) and cut my toes nails so short that they hurt. During my manicure she pushed my cuticles back with this sharp tool and cut me more than once... never apologized I should say. My hand massage was not even 30 seconds long (and let's be honest I can paint my own nails the reason we go get our nails done is to relax a bit) So upset with this place I will NOT be back.. Lee Nails is down the street and they give you a hot towel, a nice long massage, and a MUCH cleaner atmosphere. If you do choose to go to this place do not see the younger girl there see one of the older ladies they seemed much friendlier! Needless to say I left with sore toe nails, scraped up finger, cuts on my fingers, a very sour attitude towards this place. Choose somewhere else. read more

Love going here! My nails always turn out how I want them too, plus the prices are very reasonable. I have gone to a few different girls here and they are all very nice and do a good job. read more

I saw positive reviews on yelp so I decided I'd try this place out. I have to say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had and I've been doing acrylic nails for over 5 years. The ladies are incredibly sweet, but I was not pleased with how my nails turned out. Two of my nails turned out crooked, one nail is incredibly shorter than the rest, and it took over an hour and a half to do an acrylic fill which is twice as long as usual. I won't be coming back. read more

LOOOOOOVE this place!!! They always do a good job. All the ladies are so so nice and take pride in their work. Pricing is unbeatable, especially considering the quality of work. Everything is super clean and their bacteria killing technique is displayed so customers can trust that they meet the standard. I come here whenever I need a pick me up. They make even my short stubby fingers look beautiful. I always leave happy! read more

What a wonderful find! I am a very low maintenance gal...only had 2 manicures and pedicures in my life. Had a 40th reunion, needed to step it up a bit. Walked in to a beautiful and CLEAN salon and was greeted by Rose. Within a minute I was sitting in the most comfortable massage chair with my tootsies soaking in a small whirlpool basin...the lady who did my pedicure didn't speak much which was ok...I looked through magazines and just relaxed ..... she did a wonderful job... I enjoyed every minute! I am going to make it a point to go on a semi-regular basis when I have an occasion or just feel the need for some pampering! The prices are so low that I think I'll upgrade my status from low to moderate maintenance from now on! read more

Rose, the owner, is very friendly but is the worst nail technician I've ever ever had. Over the years, she has burnt me several times because she files my nails so hard. I've always wanted her other employees to do my nails but she had them do the feet while she does the acrylics . The other nail technicians are great but Rose is so bad. She doesn't care that she had hurt you even after u had told her. She didn't even offer a discount or anything even after you had been bleeding from a cut on your skin that she made from filing. I was afraid of infection because she had cut my skin a few times already. My nails lifted after one week because she didn't do it right. When nails are lifted, they are prone to bacteria and infection. She should retire and let others do the work. Rose, u are very friendly but please leave the work to your employees. One of these days you will cause someone to have gangrene and have their arm amputated because of infection. Let your employees do the work. They are great! read more

Rose Nails did an awesome job for my wedding and bridesmaids. Rose is the sweetest and most accommodating person. Our nails look beautiful and lasted two weeks with the no-chip manicures. read more

So I was looking for something close to home to get a quick pedicure because I was in desperate need, but also a little sick. I checked yelp and this seemed to be the place! My toes look great($25) and when I started to have a coughing fit, the technician (whose name I will get next time) told me to keep coughing it will make you feel better. How nice! Then as I was leaving, Rosie(who I think is a manger/owner) asked me again if I wanted a manicure. I didn't, once they chip I will pick all of the color off making it a waste. I saw a sign for a type of no-chip that claimed to be gentle on the nails, I said maybe I would do that next time. Rosie told me that all no-chip are the same, and that I was better off just getting a manicure(which is the cheaper option anyhow). Then she looked at my nails and said that she just needed to file them because this was her job and my nails hurt her eyes, so she did just that, for no charge! I will definitely be returning to Rose Nails and bringing my friend with! read more

The owner was wonderful she made sure that I got all that I came in looking for. the nail work is beautiful.

I LOVE Rose Nails! I have been going here for years. I have tried other salons, but I always end up regretting branching out. Rose Nails is so clean. The staff here is always friendly. The prices are great. You would be a fool not to come here. There are days you may have to wait, but that is because everything here is so amazing!!! Rose will open early and stay late! Great nail salon!!! read more

Fantastic experience ! Rose is super kind and the staff so friendly. This place has a very positive energy. I like that it is clean and they even have warm towels to dry your hands after you wash them. Highly recommended. read more

Needed a quick pedicure and was lucky to get a pedicure by the owner Rose. She was so sweet and took her time in pampering my feet with a great foot scrub and a little massage. She made sure that my nails were polished perfectly and that I was satisfied with the service. read more

The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. I often treat the ladies in my family to mani/pedi days here; we are regulars and will remain so. Sometimes there is a slight wait, but the staff is always readily communicating any updates always very accomodating. Thanks to everyone at rose nails! read more

Not that great! Long long wait! Took three hours to have a simple manicure and pedicure. Noisy and loud in the salon, not a soothing relaxing place that you usually want having spa treatment done. The girl that did my nails was overworked and tired by the time she got to me. Worst pedicure I received, it was done horribly. Rushed! The manicure was so so too. Don't waste your time going there. Spend a few bucks more and go to LVX Nail Salon on Touhy Avenue across from Target. Wonderful quiet clean place with excellent work done. Never rushed and the nicest couple own it. read more

I love coming to Rose's with my daughter for mani's and pedi's. Rose's has outstanding customer service and their work is excellent. All of the ladies that we have had for pedicures are great. For my manicures, I really love Anhtwan's work. My nails look so good when he is done. My daughter has had a few of the other ladies do her manicures and she has been very happy. Come when you have the time to relax. Sometimes it gets very busy, but Rose always does her very best to accommodate everyone and with a smile on her face. read more

This place was GREAT. I loved it. I read all the reviews and they were correct. i never am happy with a place because i am 14 and other places i have gone to never take me seriously and never do as good of a job. like i used to go to a place and my mom loved it but they never did a good job on me. it was really maddening. but here they were very nice and the lady i had Kim, was very nice and she made sure i was happy. she even asked if i like the color when she first put it on. i was very pleased about that, it showed she really cared. and she did not rush at all. since i do cross country my feet take a beating. she made them feel great and soft again. i definitely recommend this place to every. read more

Rose Nails is awesome! Betty is the best, always providing friendly service and she does an EXCELLENT job. I am very picky about my nails and Betty always makes sure they turn out exactly as I want them. PLUS, you can't beat the price! They close at 7 p.m. but will stay in the evening and take as many customers as walk in the door, sometimes until 9 p.m. or later. The salon is clean, relaxing and not intimidating. If you're looking for awesome service (the best I've ever had at a nail salon) and perfect nails for a great price, try them out! read more

I would recommend Rose Nails to anyone. Not only does Rose provide excellent service to make sure her clients leave happy but the technicians do a great job as we'll. my 1st experience was awesome went in with my cousin who was getting her nails done and while i was waiting Rose noticed I had a chipped nail so she insisted to put another cost of nail polish with no charge. Now thats service! read more

Rosie's is the best. I've been coming here for years! Great prices and quality work. Low wait times during the week and friendly staff.

Clean and cozy salon. Excellent work and really nice people! Cost is very reasonable. I had my bridal shower there. Our fingernails and toenails looked lovely and we plan on coming back!! read more

I had a walk-in visit to Rose's last Saturday afternoon and it was terrific. Although they were busy when I came, Rosie introduced herself to me right away and made sure I was comfortable while I awaited my pedicure. She did a lovely job on my toes and feet, even saving me money when I asked for a "no chip" and she explained that I probably didn't need one for my feet. She was very flexible about the color when I changed my mind (prior to application), and very warm an welcoming in general. I love the color I ended up with and my toes look great. As more people arrived, both walk-ins and appointments, she was kind and courteous with everyone and it seemed like we all got served relatively quickly, considering how busy they were. The salon is very clean, and they had the TNT movie channel on, which was fine with me. I would most definitely return to Rose Nails, and I'd endorse it for anyone else looking for a nail salon. read more

I would recommend this salon to everyone. I just moved in to Park Ridge and was looking for a decent, clean and not overpriced nail salon. Thanks to all reviews I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. I had Kim doing my mani and pedi. I was pleasantly surprised at how she was working on cleaning cuticles and filing my nails. She didn't not apply polish ideally but overall she did a good job. I would definely come back. The salon looks very clean, they sanitize all tools and I found their pedi station very comfy, although my massage action was a bit rough for a first minutes of use. The last but not least is the prices! Who can beat $32 for mani and pedi? Well, they can! read more

Rose and her daughter were oh so sweet! They did a really nice job, and this was on a Sunday evening after dinner, not many places were open! My mom and I really enjoyed it, great color selection and a totally thorough pedicure for only $25! read more

This salon is impressively clean and well maintained. The owner is a sweet and very hard working woman who wants everyone to be satisfied. She will redo your nails if you are not happy. Also, if you mess up your nails afterwards, she will fix the problem at no extra cost. I have been there when someone called from home to say that she messed up her nails, and Rose told her to come back and to have it fixed. I get the gel nails(suggested because I'm a biter), and they always look great. The operators are all all quite professional, and I've never had a problem. I would suggest getting an appointment if possible, as they can be busy at times. read more

Great! Consistently fantastic service. I brought my friend who was visiting from FL and she can't wait to go back the next time she's in town! This is the worse nail salon!!! I got a no chip manicure on Friday and it started chipping the next day!!! My nails are all cracking and it hasn't been a week. I did not use a credit card so I can't go back for a refund. The lady next to me was telling me the no chip last 4 weeks - my lady must have missed a step. For the price of the no chip I should have just went somewhere on southport! Really disappointed! read more

I was recommended rose nails when the salon I was going to just was not meeting my expectations. When I called rose nails Rose answered the phone and was very sweet and took the time to listen to what i wanted and schedule my appointment. When I showed up for my appointment rose warmly greeted me and asked me to choose my color. Rose spent time talking about my nails and what I wanted done with my nails she ultimately wanted to make me happy with the end result. Rose is very skilled and knows the technique! I trust her very much! Even if there is a wait rose is worth the wait she is amazing!!!! Lots of colors to choose from and a very clean nail salon await you! read more

Got a Mani/Pedi from Rosie. She is one of the nicest people you will meet. Very friendly and talkative. She did a great job on my nails. She never made me feel like I was just an ordinary customer. She treated me like she knew me for a long time. She took her time. I did not feel rushed. I recommend going here if you are looking for a friendly place to get your nails done. I decided to also get my eyebrows and upper lip done. She took her time to make sure she was doing it right. She completely took me away from my regular salon. read more

I went to Rose's Nails for a pedicure at the beginning of the summer. I don't often get a pedicure and just casually mentioned this to the girl that was working on me. When she put my feet near the drier at the end of the pedicure....she left me there for a good 30 minutes and disappeared to the back room never to reappear. When I finally realized she was upset that I only come once every so often, I looked over at Rose. She said nothing, only "$25"! I paid the $25 and left. I know the pedicure was $20, but why did she charge me $25????....because I only come once in awhile????!!!! For sure I will never go back to Rose's Nails and I will not recommend them to anyone I know. This has bugged me all summer!! read more
