I like this place but lately I haven't been too happy with the pizzas. The service has always seemed chaotic but the servers seem to handle it pretty good, not an unpleasant visit, just chaotic. We ordered a pizza for delivery and it arrived within the expected time. For flavor, Rosatis is now our favorite pizza place in Crown Point. We will try dining in and see how that goes. Just signed up for the reward program and I'll be in in a bit to pick up an order. UPDATE Sat at the bar while my order was baked. Bartender very attentive and personable. Order was ready on time and tasted just as good as the last, delivery order. We also ordered some boneless wings to try and they were good as well. We will be back! read more

I ordered a 14" sausage and mushroom pizza Wednesday night, the night before Thanksgiving and they said it would take 2 hrs which I understood being one of the busies pizza nights of the year. It only took an hour or so which was good BUT it was cold. But the really problem was there was only like 10 mushroom slice on it, REALLY!! I could live with that except the sausage wasn't fully cooked!!! NOT GOOD. Will it kill me...no but sure could get me sick!! Rosati's please don't even respond back to this post since I'll never read it and not interested in your lame excuses. Why can't Crown Point have any good pizza places........... read more

My friends and I were so excited to find a new pizza place. We were willing to pay more for good pizza. What we got was bland and uninspiring. The pizza crust was thick, but more like a crisp cracker type crust than chewy bread type crust. The tomato sauce had no character and there wasn't much of it. The cheese was tasteless. Service was great -- but good service doesn't make up for boring pizza. Won't be back. read more

Took 4 hours and 5 calls to fix my order and it was never fixed LOL got a refund 15 minutes later. So if you like being put on hold and waiting and waiting just to call back again and be told i'm sorry 40 times and nothing ever is done about it then this is the place for you! Ordered at work online, I used the timed feature to get it when I wanted to take my lunch, and I received it within 5 minutes of that time, so 4 stars there...I did tip REALLY well though, (when I used to make group orders with a lot of people everyone knew their change down to the penny, and if I said "what about a tip?"looked at me like I had 2 heads, so I tend to overtip)so that might have something to do with that. I ordered pasta with sautéed spinach and mushrooms. You are charged $2 extra for the added vegetables, which I don't mind about the spinach, you could see it when you opened the container, but the mushrooms...there were exactly 3 mushrooms in my rather large container of pasta! That's like 67 cents a mushroom! The pasta was ok, but not so spectacular that I'd go out of my way to get it again, so I don't know if I'll be ordering from here again. Last time I ordered a pizza, again not spectacular, hence I tried the pasta, but their food is overpriced and not that great. Rosattis give your cooks some mushrooms to work with! Lol. read more

First time customers.Had a gift card. Problem the service was very slow. We ordered soup and then we waited. Finally when it did arrive she told us that "It was like pulling teeth" ????. Then it was a very long wait for the entree. My friend had Chicken Parmigiana which consisted of a breaded chicken patty. Sauce. lots of cheese ( too much). Mine wasn't as bad Spaghetti marinara. . The reason Im giving this only two stars is because of the service. It took longer than usual for the server to come and take or drink order and when I asked her to take or food order at that time she seemed a little put off, I wanted the pizza order in asap. I asked about the size of the salad the server said it was big enough to share yet when or arrived it was rather small, so my two sons and I made quick work of it, which made the wait for the pizza seemed to take forever. Our server was nowhere to be found, no refills, no visits to explain the wait or to prep for pizza(clean up salad plates, bring in fresh plates)when I found her I had to asked her to check on the pizza and surprise it was done. Pizza was good, the medium was big enough to feed the three of us with some leftover to take home. Quick note, there are no free refills on soft drinks. Not at all happy when trying to order online.......first I put in our Crown Point zipcode and it tells me there is no such restaurant in that area! Not good since I just got the phone number to be told it doesn't exist. sheesh....then your website doesn't tell you how much a sandwich is or what to expect to pay for a pizza since the restaurant doesn't exist in Crown Point!!!! Good place to put a pizza business....and I do think this is like the 3rd time I have had an issue trying to order food from you. Food was excellent. Took awhile to get but everything was very good. Went with a party of 6, had the pizza doughnuts as an appetizer, ordered a small deep dish and a thin crust, they were all very good. Also had ordered a sandwich, which never came, not sure what happened there. The service needs work though. A hostess helped us out quite a bit but our actual server struggled. Hopefully the service does get better because the place has a lot of upside. read more

This is now my go to pizza place! The thin crust pizza was delicious, I can't wait to try the deep dish. Service is super friendly. I love the ambiance. It's like a sports bar/family restaurant. Yesterday at 3:35 pm my wife and I arrived at Roasati's at the recommendation of our daughter who had eaten there recently. We immediately ordered a 14" sausage and green pepper thin crust pizza and 2 diet pepsi's. At 4:05 pm the manager came to our table and informed us the kitchen had made a sausage and mushroom pizza by mistake and were in the process of putting the correct one in the oven. Even though both of our drink glasses were empty no one offered us refills at that point.Our original waitress was now behind the bar and since the place filled up rapidly after 4 pm we never seen her again. After the pizza arrived at 4:30 pm and after we had finished eating at approx 5 pm we finally flagged down a busboy (Kevin) and asked if he could help us by wrapping the balance of the pizza and bringing us our bill. He said sure and he did both. Great customer service from him. I jokingly said he should be the next person hired as the manager. While he was gone the actual manager came to our table and apologized for the pizza mistake and the lack of waitress service and said our entire meal was complimentary. Since this was our 1st visit we chalked up this bad experience to new beginnings and since we had a nice booth in the bar and were watching the Colts game on your very nice TV's and the manager and Kevin were super nice we are not going to let this affect our effort to try this again soon. I'll start with the food is pretty good - I even had one pizza in particular that I was impressed with. But like others are commenting the staff does need some guidance. I've probably ordered 10 times since this location has opened and I've experienced the hostess hang up numerous times, the wrong timing (both "it will be ready in 30" to wait an hour & "it will be ready in an hour" to have it cold and soggy), & trouble with the online ordering (it doesn't give you a time frame so you're forced to call and ask - at least it was the last time I used it). Once we dined in and although the girl was pleasant.. she was very frazzled. We kept hearing I'm new, I'm new.. and we understand.. but our forgotten appetizer came after the pizza and in-between those two visits she disappeared so we kept having to ask another person for refills, silverware, & plates. It was pretty late on a weekday and plenty of open tables so I can't comment on what was going on behind the scenes - still not a good experience for us when it's on average a $50 bill. Anyways, if we're in the mood for a Rosati's pizza it's always a gamble as to whether or not it will be a good visit. read more

We were very excited when Rosati's opened in CP and the first few weeks we figured they were still working out the kinks of a new restaurant, so we continued to shrug off any delays or missed items because the food was good. We ordered carry out about 3-4 times a month for our weekly pizza night and we were very satisfied on almost every visit. That was until our last visit about a month ago (May 12th) and after that experience, we will never be back again. We ordered online, as we had many times before. The website tells you 30 minutes for pick up (which by the way, per the manager is wrong and "not their fault"), so I was there to pick up in 30 minutes, but ended up waiting another 45 minutes before my pizza was ready. Actually my dough nuggets and cheese sticks sat there the entire time and tasted like rubber when we tried to eat them. What was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes took an hour and 15 minutes to get. I waited and waited and waited along with many other unhappy customers. Everyone was complaining and the carry out employees could care less. I asked why it was taking so long and was told, "They'll getting slammed, we'll get it when we can. There is nothing we can do!" What happened to customer service? Very rude and unprofessional treatment. I even heard them cursing and complaining to each other about one customers order that they had messed up. By the time I finally received my families dinner, I was so unhappy that I called and asked to speak to the manager as soon as I headed home. I thought she would at least apologize, but instead she was just as unprofessional as those who finally waited on me. She told me the website is out of their control and they had a lot of orders. Never once apologized or admitted they screwed up. It was just an all around very horrible experience and as a result we have not and will not be back. The only good thing that came of this last visit was that we decided to give a few new pizza places a try. Not only have they provided a great pizza, they know how to treat customers! read more
