I don't understand how food can be produced with absolutely no flavor. Even if no spices were added, food has flavors of its own. Somehow this restaurant produces thin crust pizza that looks great but we were unable to detect any flavors at all. Carefully tried searching for some, trying the crust where sauce only was on it. Was unable to taste any tomato based sauce. Moving inboard the pizza is saturated with cheese. But I could detect no flavor there. The mushrooms and green peppers seemed to be very fresh and offered a welcome burst of flavor where none other existed. The crust seemed to be rather pasty-based, as in only a flour/water taste rather than a true crust. We felt that virtually any frozen grocery pizza would have satisfied us more, especially the local ones. Regarding the lasagna, there is nothing more to say beyond the comments of the pizza. We have just recently relocated to the area. Therefore there are many opportunities that are afforded to us when it comes to choosing a place to eat. Prior to entering this establishment, my girlfriend and I sat in the parking lot and reviewed the comments left at several establishments nearby in order to aide us making our decision. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted well and seated promptly. We placed our drink orders and Reviewed the menu. We checked in on the Yelp page and presented with a free donut appetizer. They arrived and I must say The portion was rather large. Did I mention how good these things were!!?? While waiting for our main course, I finished reading the remaining comments/reviews and found them to be quite brutal. It became evident that this location is still within its infancy, only being open for nine months. It was now clear to me why comments and reviews reflected the way they did. Any new establishment is going to experience growing pains until the right team is in place. I did enjoy seeing a representative from this organization respond rapidly to some of the more not so positive responses. That certainly shows that they are watching and that they care . During this time My harvest salad arrived, I was blown away!!! This thing was large and in charge!! The appearance was amazing blue cheese crumbles were awesome, everything together produce an amazing flavor. The salad alone could have been a main course. We consumed as much as we could before the main course arrived. Once again we were astounded by the portion size. The flavors were good but the marinara seemed watery. We managed to consume a small portion before asking to have the remainders boxed up. We were the last ones to leave the establishment that evening and left rather pleased. My wife and I have enjoyed Rosati's since they opened in Crown Point until 2 nights this month. The first evening after having driven 13 hours we decided on a 3-topping pizza. Besides mediocre in taste the pizza was almost $32! Maybe they are trying to make up for lost COVID business??? The following night, still recovering from our drive, we decided to give them another chance with a hamburger for my wife and meatball sub for myself. My wife's hamburger was excellent. However, the meatball sub appeared to have been dropped (it looked like the sandwich had blown up inside its carton) and was missing all of its toppings. This was a pickup order and didn't discover this until arriving home so after calling them, I headed back over to pick up a new sub and asked to speak to the manager. She was barely apologetic and offered no compensation for our trouble/their mistake. I ended up asking her to comp the sandwich or at least give us a credit on our account. Her response was that she had no authority to and the GM would call me when they opened the next day. Of course, that appeared to be just lip service to get me to leave and confirmed by him never calling. Unfortunately, we are now done with Rosati's and based on the number of patrons that were there the 2nd night (zero), I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't long for this world especially if they are treating other longtime customers this way. For pizza in the area, I highly recommend Bronko's in Hebron. It's take out only but well worth the drive. read more

I have ordered from Rosati's for quite awhile now and my family loves their food. Normally I have had no issues but yesterday was different. I ordered two pizzas and the amazing dough nuggets. I arrived at the store to pick up my food and they didn't have it. The staff said that someone else picked up my food and asked me over and over again if I picked it up. After several minutes they determined that my food was given to another customer with the same first name as me. So i had to wait as they remade my food. The staff was good at fixing the issue, but my quick trip to pick up my pizza turned into an hour trip. All in all it's frustrating, but the food was still good. read more

It's a bit of a drive for me but when in the area, I love coming to Rossati's! The pizza is great, the atmosphere is fun and inviting and the staff is amazing! Last visit I tried the calzone and it was outstanding. Great beer selection for the grown ups and my boys love coming out as well. Our server Yolanda was on top of all our needs and very cheerful even when interacting with the kids. Well if love to be able to tell you about this place and how their food is. But my 1st call I got disconnected. They picked up and hung up. So I decided to call back because I know sometimes accidents happen. Well after 2min on hold I hear "s of crown point. Pl" and back on hold. Dang. They couldn't even give me one full sentence over the phone. Well I put the phone on speaker and waited. And when after over 18min (and using the gf's cell to order elsewhere when I was at the 15min mark) they finally answered. To anyone reading this. If on a Wednesday they can't get to a call until after 18min, don't even bother trying to order anything on a Friday or Saturday. Oh well. I hold grudges when it comes to bad service. It takes forever for food to arrive at table - and we only ordered appetizers! On a Saturday night it wasn't overly crowded but steady. There were a lot of staff walking around trying to look busy while doing NOTHING! We asked for a booth. The hostess took us to a table instead. We passed by an open booth. Hostess said "We don't have any booths available." When I inquired about the open booth we just passed, she said very condescendingly "I guess if you REALLY want a booth I can check." I only recently found that this location offers gluten free deep dish pizza. I have been gluten free for 12 years and couldn't tell you the last time I was able to eat a deep dish pizza. That being said, the crust is delicious and tastes even better than I can remember. My fiance also has tried it and he does not eat gluten free but also agrees it tastes of delicious (non-gluten free) pizza. My only suggestion would be to order extra toppings because it looks like it could use more cheese, but then again, when it extra cheese a bad thing?! Have patience when calling to order... I've reviewed the one in Schererville on 41 for their amazing customer service, I'm starting to think the entire franchise is making this their big thing and I love it. The customer service is outstanding. I'm not even exaggerating, you call to make a order and they are always so so so nice, they don't forget the total, and it's just really clear. We order here frequently and it's our go to place now, I also love the customer appreciation coupons for ordering so much but I would recommend this place. Pretty good regular gluten free pizza. Not my favorite but good. They actually have a gluten free deep dish pizza which came out a little crisp but it was good and free. They put my order in wrong the first time so they gave me the deep dish on the house. The service was good but slow. This time the girl didn't have a clue what I was talking about said they didn't have bags that big. I love, love, love their pizza! I actually crave it! We've eaten inside the restaurant a few times, but usually order carry out delivery. The online ordering process is easy. My husband and I prefer sausage and cheese only, Rosati's sausage is delicious. We normally like crumbled, Rosati's sausage is in bigger pieces. I have never gotten that weird "chewy" fatty piece you sometimes get with larger sausage pieces. For family get togethers, this has become our place to order from. First time visit lots of familiar faces from our usual place. Very clean, courteous staff, and nice atmosphere. Sat at the bar and the draft beer is very fresh and cold. Pizza is good. I order almost weekly (check my account) until a couple weeks ago when I had the worse experience with their delivery driver and phone girl. When I placed my order she said it would be here in 45 minutes. We waited almost an hour and 20 minutes. I was getting worried because it was 5 minutes from closing time and the driver wasn't here. I called and the girl apologized for the trouble and said she would give me a credit for waiting so long. After 8 minutes on hold she said " actually just call tomorrow and ask for a manager.
