Half pound of wings

I ordered a pound of boneless wings and was given a half pound ($17.99 for a full pound). When I called to tell them this they said that 12 boneless wings was a pound... well, I weighed the wings - with the foil- and it was under a half pound. I was put on hold 3 times and then they finally refunded me for half the wings - after arguing I was wrong. When I tried to tell them that if they are preparing the wings by COUNT that they should actually charge by COUNT they hung up on me. Weigh your wings. Ridiculous you have to, but they're charging double for less.

Won't order from this store , staff are liars I did a pre order and charge my card. I called 4 times and keep telling me it's on the way 2 hours later (4th call) they told me they don't have my order and didn't help me fix it. I walked-in they keep blaming Slice. But won't give me any number to call to resolve the issue or refund.

I had a coupon so I thought I'd give it a try. Worst pizza I've ever had. I'm sticking with Geordono's.

Never had any issues. I've only ordered pizza at this location and pizza has been decent. I've also used coupons and had no issues.

Inconsistent quality of food. Sometimes decent and other times inedible. Probably won't order again.

The suburbs don't usually inspire much confidence when someone tells you they're taking you out for…read morepizza. More often than not, you're looking at another tavern-cut pie, a dozen televisions screaming sports highlights, and a menu designed by committee. Safe. Predictable. Forgettable. Then there's Woodfire. I ended up here with my family celebrating my son's second birthday and was immediately reminded that every now and then, hidden among the endless strip malls and chain restaurants of the Chicago suburbs, you'll stumble across a place that actually gives a damn. The Vodka Pizza arrived looking almost too good to touch. Almost. Hot Calabrian vodka sauce. Fresh mozzarella. Shallot. Pepperoni. Ricotta. Basil. A combination that sounds familiar enough until that first bite lands and the heat punches through. Not the fake, watered-down, suburban version of spicy that restaurants use to avoid frightening anyone. This pizza has conviction. It has backbone. The Calabrian peppers make their presence known immediately and refuse to apologize for it. Good. Food should have an opinion. The crust, charred, blistered, beautifully imperfect, comes from house-made dough cooked in a wood-fired oven that sits like the beating heart of the restaurant. Every pie carries those little marks of fire that remind you an actual human being made it. Not a conveyor belt. Not a timer. Fire. Flour. Skill. And speaking of things that deserve respect, let's talk about the bar. Kevin has become something of a local legend in Dundee. The kind of bartender whose name gets mentioned before the cocktail list. The kind of guy who understands that making drinks isn't about pouring alcohol into a glass. It's hospitality, theater, craftsmanship, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting. Still chasing the heat from the pizza, I ordered the Spicy Flamingo. A dangerous drink. Sweet enough to invite you in. Spicy enough to keep you paying attention. The kind of cocktail that disappears faster than you intended and leaves you contemplating a second before the first one is gone. Around us, bussers moved through the dining room like a pit crew at Daytona. Tables were cleaned before they looked dirty. Empty glasses vanished. New guests were seated. The machine never stopped moving. Then there's Chef Mason. It's obvious someone in that kitchen understands the difference between cooking food and feeding people. There's technique here. Knowledge. Discipline. But thankfully none of the self-important nonsense that infects so many restaurants once they start believing their own press. Woodfire isn't trying to change your life. It's not trying to educate you. It's not trying to be the coolest restaurant in the room. Like Ferris Bueller, it understands that life moves pretty fast. So instead of chasing trends, it focuses on making exceptional handmade pizza, memorable pasta, serious cocktails, and creating a place where people actually want to spend an evening. In a world full of restaurants desperately trying to be something, Woodfire succeeds by simply being exactly what it is. And that's a hell of a lot rarer than it should be.

Woodfire fits naturally into the heart of Dundee -- relaxed, welcoming, and easy to enjoy. The pasta and appetizers are solid across the board, and the drinks round out the experience nicely. I don't go by a strict interpretation of pizza, no one likes a pizza snob. If they don't have a crunchy, cracker crust, I don't shed tears. I'd like to add that they don't have a crunchy, cracker crust, lol. The cheese is laid on thick. The ingredients, cheese included, seem premium. Thankfully, the sauce is not sweet. There are two types of people in this world; those who put the pep on top of the cheese, and those who put it under. They are pep hiders. They have a pizza tracker. Our pizza came 30 minutes faster than scheduled. I just don't see how a 1 mile delivery for 2 thin crust 16 inchers, 5 ingredients total between two pizzas, delivery fee, and pre-populated tip, can be justified at $76.27. This is supposed to be a quick, convenient eat. Its thin crust pizza for goodness sake. In caveman translation: pizza decent, price yuck.

I was supposed to receive two cheese two pepperoni and two sausage pizzas. I only received one sausage instead of two, the one sausage I did receive came in all messed up all toppings to one side so not sure if the driver didn't keep the pizzas straight. I called them that same day and said someone would get back to me which I didn't get a call back. I spent over $159 dollars I atleast expect to have correct pizza and a follow up from store I love this place but that was a pricey order

The quality impressed us most. The bagels tasted fresh overall, with great flavor and that satisfying chewy interior you want from a proper NYC-style kettle-boiled bagel. The cream cheeses were especially good; smooth, rich, and packed with bold flavor. I went with a CYO breakfast bagel: one over-easy egg, Muenster, extra bacon, and a light hit of pepper ketchup (iykyk) on a toasted and scooped garlic & herb bagel with chive and green onion cream cheese. Messy, savory, rich, and fantastic. We also grabbed a mixed half-dozen to go, cinnamon raisin bagel chips, and tubs of honey walnut and chive & green onion cream cheese. The bagel chips were especially addictive; super crunchy and they practically shatter like glass. I also spotted a bottle of Martinelli's apple juice in that iconic round glass bottle, which was a fun little nostalgia hit since I grew up drinking it in South Florida. The place itself is bright, clean, and energetic. We arrived around 10:30 on a Sunday and there was a steady stream of people eating in and grabbing to-go orders. Definitely more of a hip, happening little spot than I expected. My only real knock is the price. This visit came to $56.34, which definitely made me wince. I get it though; it feels more like an occasional treat than an everyday stop. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu, especially that unique-looking pizza, but at these prices... probably not next weekend.

We ordered our pizza and waited over an hour until the server stopped to tell us that our ticket was not received and she was rushing our order. The table next to us - with 7 people - arrived after us by about 10 minutes had apps and pizza before our server even noticed that we did not have our pizza. Finally the pizza arrives - no apology from the manager or empathy from the server. Then she has the nerve to bring us our bill with no compensation. Can someone show some type of caring about customers here? I couldn't take it so I said I'm sure you are going to make some type of compensation for the wait time of our pizza. The server looked at us like a deer in headlights. I wanted to ask her if she was the customer how would she feel? She returned and gave us an excuse about their WiFi being down so she could not give us a new bill with $10 off. FYI the slot machines were working fine. I asked if she need to use the hot spot on my phone (I couldn't resist). We brought friends from out of town here and were embarrassed by the bad service. Again the pizza is great which is why return. You are making it very hard to want to give you out money. How disappointing! I welcome a phone call for clarity but I am doubtful that the owner and or manager could care enough to do so. Sad. We've been enjoying your pizza for over 35 years
