We have been to this location in Elgin many times. The food is great and the service is superb. We had the server Zach Samaan numerous times. He is courteous, helpful and very pleasant. He always makes sure we are comfortable and if any help is needed even when he is bombarded with customers. He makes our visit so enjoyable. read more

Let me first say it's a decent bar/restaurant atmosphere. Lots of tables, clean, nice servers, pretty loud inside. Now the food. Don't go for burgers. 'Seared & seasoned to perfection', no. Looked like a frozen patty, definitely not seared & neither mine or my husband's was anywhere near hot...barely warm. Not even the fries. The cheesy breadsticks were good though. We added a cup of minestrone & a cup of baked French onion soup. They were good but a little pricey for the size. We won't be back, there are better places to spend our money. read more

Update since my first visit. This time I was in the upstairs private room for a work meeting. The service was excellent. A buffet dinner was served midway through the meeting. I wish the food was marked gluten free or not because I was afraid to have anything but the vegetables and mashed potatoes. There was gravy on both the beef and the chicken. The salad had croutons. The room has very tall ceilings so it becomes very noisy and hard to hear the person talking across the table. There were restrooms right outside the room and an elevator for those who can't navigate stairs. read more

Food was ok ish. Not super tasty. Three nights I've been here was about the same mid food. Some servers are great tho. But the door staff are the rudest bunch of ladies I've seen work at a resturant. Why let rude people work the door? Three nights I've been here. It's a work thing. read more

Where to begin. There were 7 of us. All adults. They messed up the pizza derp dish order had had to make new one. Takes aloud 45-60 minutes. The rest of us ate our. Mine was warm at best. Bratwurst. The worst and so small a portion I would have been embarrassed to serve and charge such a price. This used to be a good local chain. This is the second time we have been there and no more Served mediocre. Very noisy read more

I've been to this Moretti's location a few times now. The ambience is nicely decorated with an ample bar area. The happy hour is from 4 to 6 PM during the week and Moretti's offers various appetizers and drink specials. The male bartender with the beard makes the best French martinis! The lemon drop martini on the hour menu is also very tasty. The meatball sub and Jessica's chicken sandwich with focaccia is fantastic! The fries are very good too! I give this restaurant 4.5 stars. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. read more

We really enjoyed thin crust pizza. This establishment also had two musicians playing cover songs and a half dozen instruments- singing, drums, guitar, violin, etc. They were talented and I was mesmerized watching them while eating. We were not fans of the mozzarella sticks... kind of bland? Again the pizza was great. Service was absolutely awesome. Our waitress was so attentive, very kind, and very quick! read more

We came here for lunch. They have GF pizza and pasta. I ordered a cheese and garlic pizza. The server made sure everything was separate and was very careful with all the food. The pizza was really good. My husband had mashed potatoes as a side and she kept it on a different plate so I could take some too. read more

Food was yummy as usual, manager was attentive and visited with us, the bartender was good.

We used Morettis in Elgin to cater our company holiday parties today and they were amazing! Their team showed up on time or early, had everything organized and set up in minutes, and walked us through it all. The food was amazing and our employees were thrilled! We are very happy with our experience!! read more

Sara and Abby are wonderful. Great service and food. Love dinning here regularly. Always spot on

I ordered the chicken limone which was pretty good. They have a great beer selection and a full bar. The ambiance here is great!! However, the service today was terrible.....no nice way to put it. It was not very busy yet we were constantly trying to find our server so that he could perform his job. We waiting 15 minutes for drinks and our food took 45 minutes. The last appetizer plate wasnt cleared till well after we all were done with dinner. There was no clear explanation to the terrible service but it was far below minimal expectations. To top it off, we brought in a cheesecake for a bday celebration. We needed more plates and our server brought a stake of 4 plates that clearly just had food on them. These were absolutely not cleaned at all. It was the end of a pretty terrible experience. Maybe this was an off night but this is the type of experience that would keep me from ever coming back. read more

Great ambiance, spacious with lots of room to move about... not jammed in and crammed together like sardines (as in other places). Excellent service! Good food with many options. Entertainment on weekends is a highlight. Fun environment, fun experience! read more

We never get to any of the other places out here because we always choose Sushi Station. On our way back from Iowa this week, we realised SS was closed on Mondays so we stopped in here, having been to one in Rosemont before. This one is HUGE! Seriously, if you need a work or kid or any party space, this has it. We got a kids make your own pizza, a kid ravioli and a soup/salad combo. Service was very good - helpful and friendly. The bathrooms are very clean which is not always the case at a place where a giant kid party just left (maybe because it was boys and we were all girls we were spared any mess!). We left full and happy! read more

After waiting 17 mins at the bar today, at 1:05, I got up and left. Place was dead. The bar tender was not helpful and would rather serve her tables on the floor. When she did greet me, she said give her a few minutes. She then pored beers for other people, closed a check out, and didnt say another word to me. I finally got up and left. I dont have time to sit and watch you do a millions things before even asking what I would like. She didn't care- so, up and out I went. No wonder it was dead in there.... read more

It's a very beautiful place, lots of seating and lots of parking. Service was amazing for sure. The drinks were really well made and very tasty. Love the coconut onion rings! BUT sadly the fettucini alfredo was too bland, I couldn't eat it. The chicken was cooked well & I didn't understand the chunks of broccoli but it was ok. JUST the fettucini sauce was not edible at all. It basically had ZERO flavor. Anyway would come back to try the pizza though. read more

We love Moretti's!!!! It is so awesome that they added this new location. Moretti's pizza is top notch with a thin cracker crust. The sauce is really tasty, and the toppings are plentiful. The appetizer list and salads are also favorites of ours. We love the bruschetta, everything about it is perfect, the toast, the tomatoes, the mozzarella are so good and the amount of basil, oil and salt they add to the top knocks it out of the park. Another recommendation would be the chopped chicken salad, it's amazing! I take off the olives, but everything else is better than any chopped salad around. The potion is plentiful as well. Now, the best for last...Their happy hour!!!!! M-F from 3-6, all the locations I've been to have the same amazing deals. 10 inch one topping pizza for $6, half off select apps, including the bruschetta, and tons of drink specials. It is a great deal! And, don't worry if you are with the family, you can sit at the high tops around the bar and get the happy hour prices. Personal pizzas for everyone! Check them out as soon as you can! read more

We really want to like this place, but the menu is making it difficult. The environment of the place is great, and the staff is very friendly, but most of the food on the menu isn't that good. We've been there over a dozen times and tried a lot of different items, but besides 2 or 3 things on the menu the rest is pretty sub-par. - burgers taste like cardboard - beef bowl is depressing to eat - broasted chicken has no flavor - steak isn't anything special We are hoping the food changes in the next few months or we'll just need to stop coming to this place. read more

I love it here, always a great meal! I have also been to their Bartlett and Rosemont locations, and they are consistently excellent no matter your choice of location. They have a great selection of gluten-free entrees, including pizza and pasta, and a nice selection of wines. In addition, they offer happy hour entrees and, my favorite, their "Steak & Bake" special, which consists of a salad, a nicely seasoned and cooked strip steak, and a large baked potato with sour cream for $16 on Thursdays. They pour a decent cocktail here, too. It's a great place for a night out with friends or with your whole family. read more

I had a confirmed 7:30 PM reservation at Moretti's on August 5th to celebrate my birthday, booked through OpenTable. When I arrived (7:15pm), I was told that because my reservation was made last minute, I couldn't be seated right away and would have to wait about an hour. This policy was never mentioned when booking, and the reservation was confirmed in the OpenTable system. I planned my evening around that confirmation, so it was extremely frustrating to be turned away from my table. If a restaurant can't honor last-minute reservations, they should not allow them to be confirmed on OpenTable, or at least make this clear before booking. This was a disappointing experience, and I won't be returning. read more

Im giving a two star because I do love Morettis. This is my first time at this location. I am a server and understand the business. In my day if we were short staffed we closed sections. They are noticeably short staffed with every table filled with every table also complaining a lot about the customer service. It's so sad everyone it seems forfeits the customer experience for a profit. Not really happy with todays experience at all. I'll have to go back to Edison Park. This isn't what I expect from Morettis read more

Pizza was fantastic. The ambiance is outstanding. Best Morettis I've been to. My only complaint was the amount of time we had to wait to be seated. There was nobody at the front counter greeting people. We had to ask the bartender to find someone to help us. read more

Our party was a group of four. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. But the food was a little lacking this time which was very disappointing. One of us got the spaghetti and meatballs. There were two meatballs with very little spaghetti noodles for $22 very over price for what he got. Two of us got the brick chicken, which was tasty but only three slices and small slices of the potato also for $22. The prices were high for the amount of food you got. We are deciding to move on to a different location for a monthly get together. read more

We waited over a hour and half for our pizzas. The staff never checked on us or offered to refill our drinks. Overall we had very poor service. I would not recommend coming to this location. Once we received our food, it wasn't worth the wait and nothing that should have taken that long to make. The staff barely spoke to us. read more

I paid $45 for this... I know it's cold outside, but the food was colder. I stood by myself for 10 minutes with another guy who's pizza was messed up so he was waiting for a remake. Watching all of the waiters walk by without even making eye contact. Finally I get my order it's light, so I peak inside and asked if it's supposed to come with garlic bread or anything. The hostess didn't know but the waiter said yes. So she rolled her eyes and went back got one piece... I asked there is two orders of pasta.. and she rolled her eyes even more at me and got it. All worth it if portion sizes are good and taste good, right? Nope. Pasta is dry, garlic bread was just cold soggy bread with butter, and even with the extra meat sauce I ordered on the side was only filled half way... I only get paid 16$ an hour which means I busted my butt for 3 hours of my life to afford food that was cold, not filling, dry and also poor customer service. read more

The drink Kendall made me was awesome. She made it special for me. It was above and beyond what she needed to do.
