(Left) carne (right) Taco - Al Pastor

I found out about El Pato Loco through a friend. After reading reviews I was really excited to try it out. My husband and I are always looking for Mexican restaurants. We decided to come here on a Sunday night. It was pretty empty, but it was a Sunday. We parked in the back and came up the back stairs. We were a little confused as to if we needed to find someone to seat us or if we just sat ourselves. We walked inside to find no hostess area and asked someone what to do. They said to seat ourselves. We sat outside as it was a beautiful evening. We sat for some time before someone came to give us water (no menus though) they came back a bit later with menus. It seemed that a bus girl was doing all of this. She then came and brought us chips and salsa. The pineapple habanero was so good! She told us our server would be out shortly. Our server did not come so the bus girl came back and took our drink order. We order d traditional margaritas. They were pretty good. Finally our waitress came over but seemed confused. I ordered 2 shrimp tacos because people in the reviews said they were "the best" and really good. My husband had an al pastor and a carnita tacos. Food came and we had to ask for napkins and utensils. My shrimp tacos were just ok. Very little sauce and lots of jalapeños. My husband said his were just ok. Took forever for someone to come get our check. It was $50 for 4 tacos and 2 margaritas. There's also a 3% sur charge *big eye roll* just raise your prices. It's honestly more annoying to see a sur charge on a bill, especially when the service is not great and the food is mediocre. We decided there are other places that are much better so we won't be back. Such a bummer and I honestly don't know how this place has a 4 star rating.

excellent service, new modern feel. plenty of parking in the back. good variety of menu items but not overwhelming and it's concise. great for the whole family, to go, or just to have a couple drinks at the bar. guacamole rocked, no complaints really. hand made corn tortillas too. half price tacos on tuesdays, now that i tried it will have to come back and get my favs! excellent date night spot.

The ambiance is an absolute TEN. What a cute space and amazing artwork! What was less amazing was the food and service. We started with the queso patito and we found the cheese to be grainy and the texture felt off. The chips were underwhelming and needed more salt. The salsas and guac had way too much lime for our tastes. The five of us adults also ordered tacos and burritos. There was a large bone in the duck tacos that my mom had. We pointed it out to the waiter and he made a joke about it being like a wishbone, but didn't attempt to make it right in any way. My dad had a taco with a large fat piece in it that was inedible and looked like a small shrimp. How is it possible to miss these things that are going into the food? The drinks were heavy ice, cute cups, not much to it. Fairly expensive for such a small portion. The burrito was small for the price and more rice than my husband would like. We might try it again in time when they've worked out the kinks, but it won't be any time soon.

We chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful afternoon and the decorations gave the place a fall fest at an upscale barn vibe- loved it! We order a couple mimosas, deviled eggs with smoked trout roe, and whitefish pate. We were surprised that the food came out before the mimosas, but the drinks were great once we got them. Who can resist a mimosa on a sunny afternoon! The deviled eggs were a perfect balance of creamy and salty. I would have never thought roe on eggs would be so good, but now I don't think I want them any other way! My partner is on the hunt for the best whitefish pate and was very impressed. The cucumber dill salad was a wonderful compliment to the delicate pate that had good chunks of whitefish in it for texture. We would absolutely order it again! The pizzas were not available today, but we cannot wait to come back later this winter on a chilly night and try it inside for a date night. So happy to have given Mockingbird a try!

Let me start by writing that this place deserves five stars and should be five stars, and I wanted…read moreso badly to give it five stars. But sadly there was a private event that spread the kitchen very thin and it took away from the overall experience. Food: 5.0/5.0 - Everything we ate was awesome. We did the Wood-Fired Artichoke, the Two Pigs in a Basket Crostata, the Steak Hash, and the Arugula Salad. Everything was cooked and flavored nicely but I wish the steak hash had more steak. (See my photos) Service: 4.5/5.0 - The server was kind and Joe was walking around checking in regularly, making sure we were protected from the rain. I dinged half a point because the server didn't have the best explanations for why everything was out. More on that later. Ambiance: 4.0/5.0 - I think on a normal evening on a date, this place would be 5.0/5.0. The decor is rustic/modern and it felt like a vacation spot that you'd visit on the Florida coast. Loved the brassware and the attention to detail in the presentation of food. It was a Sunday afternoon when we were there, so the band across the street was disruptive to the feel outside the restaurant in the garden and patio. By 3:00pm the flies and gnats were becoming annoying. So good scores in general and worthy of 5 stars, but alas, the kitchen was not prepared for the afternoon private party along with the crowd from the night before... apparently. They were "unable to make" or were out of several dishes. From what I can recall, there were no: pizza pies, whitefish, and chimichurri. They also ran out of all soda except a few bottles of Coca Cola. And there was no beer on tap because the keg was broken, so they only had Guinness and Stella bottles. Because of this, it stung to pay the prices we did for our items. I'd say a fair price point with all said and done is probably $3-$4 less on any item here. Crostatas were great, but maybe for $13. I'd pay $16 for the steak hash. I'm sure if we came back on a weeknight, this place would be amazing. Great people, great food, and everything in stock. If we came back, I'd love to upgrade this review to 5 stars. The problem is, the price may keep us from giving this place a second try.

To begin with, this is the best steak in the area and it's not close. I really loved the Japanese…read moreWagyu Ribeye, which they removed, but I think they change the menu a lot, and regardless of when you come you'll be satisfied with the selections here. The bartenders are fantastic, all of them. They are always quick to fill a drink or make conversation and have great recommendations. Get there early though, because it fills up quickly, even on weeknights. All the old fashioneds here are perfect, and that's my go-to here. If steak isn't your thing they have a tremendous Caesar salad here. It's quite large too, so I'd suggest splitting it with whoever you bring. The popover rolls are a must. Meaning, you must get them every time. The pasta I had once, it was good, but I love the risotto. The French onion soup looked phenomenal (I didn't get it) but 3 people next to me did, and all loved it. My favorite sandwich on the menu is the French Dip. The interior is beautiful and the dress code is what I would call business casual. Make a reservation or get to the bar early at the best place in town, The Greggory!

We ordered the Pop Over Rolls to start off our meal and they were some of the best rolls I've ever had. I really liked that they had a hint of cheese and the butter was also delightful. To eat, I ordered the Summer Corn Ravioli and it was one of my favorite pasta dishes I've probably ever had. I did get it without the mushrooms as I typically am not a fan of mushrooms but the ravioli was perfectly cooked and the flavors were simply divine. My party also ordered various meat dishes that they all raved about as well. We did order the brussel sprouts and asparagus to share - I enjoyed the asparagus but did not try the brussel sprouts given they had bacon in them. We didn't order dessert BUT did get a fantastic vanilla cake with raspberry sauce for dessert that our server brought given it was my mom's birthday dinner. The cake was SO delicious and I was very happy we got it! To top it off, our service was amazing throughout and it was an overall wonderful experience. Thank you, The Greggory team, for a great first experience! We cannot wait to be back!

We finally stumbled on No Manches and we can say without reservation that they have the best Mexican food we've had in the 20+ years we've lived here. The Tri Color Burrito is my absolute favorite and I recently commented to a friend that its made my "if I could only have one food on a deserted island for the rest of my life" list. Its that good. The margaritas are excellent as well. In terms of negatives, the prices are high and the music can be very loud if you want to have group conversations. Our server even got our order wrong the last time we were there because she couldn't hear us! That said, any cons are definitely outweighed by the pros. The service as always was great and the additional space is destined to increase the ambiance.
