Now the food take a peak at the ribeye and the sides in my photos... Meats were cooked to our liking medium rare and medium. Mushrooms, spinach, and the potato were phenomenal! Service was quick and that's what I appreciate straight to business. Always people nice welcoming us in! Restaurant is well kept and won't disappoint! Stop by!

The bread was fresh, warm and so soft! Was a great start. My entree i ordered something I had never had before. The Wild Dover Sole with a side of asparagus. When the Dover Sole comes out from the kitchen it's met by your server who then debones the entire fish table side. It's a nice little show. Now the fish itself! AMAZING! So light and flavorful. It's served with brown butter and shaved marcona almonds. The asparagus comes with a romesco sauce which makes it the perfect partner for the fish. For dessert we shared the White chocolate mousse cake that comes with a raspberry sauce to pour over. This was one of the best meals I can remember in a long time. We will be back again!

What really makes it stand out is the ambiance -- warm, inviting, and tailor-made for date night. It's the kind of place that may not shout for attention, but quietly delivers a very enjoyable experience.

The waiter was fine, just not overly helpful when asking about dishes and drink options. We ordered calamari as an app, which was a joke because it came with 5 pieces of calamari and the rest of the dish was filled with nonsense fried lemons and olives. We asked for bread, never got it. I ordered the seared ahi tuna and it was terrible, just a pile of sloppy rice with large chunks of egg and the tuna thrown on top. The waiter only came back once because someone else brought the food out, so where we likely would have ordered more drinks we did not. In all fairness my partner said the pork shank was incredible. Probably won't go back because at that price point we would expect better service and quality. The ambiance is beautiful and the restaurant is dark and lovely. It's a shame the quality and experience isn't the same as it once was.

Always good food, and the service was excellent!!! Very accommodating. Just this past week we tried the Barrlet location, early dinner. What a culture shock, the restaurant had tables filled with lunch dishes, floor was dirty, we waited for over 5 minutes for someone to seat us, and another 15 til we saw a server! Being it was happy hour, I ordered a Mai Tai, didn't taste and rum or any alcohol, tasted like punch, not even any garnish, like a half orange slice, pineapple or cherry -- NOTHING! The server asked "how was that cocktail, I told him terrible! He said it was all pre-made in a jug, so getting another wouldn't matter, ha! He never offered anything else. Ordered spinach artichoke dip, it was served with multicolored tortilla chips ‍ My husband ordered a 10" stuffed sausage pizza called "The Chicago Sausage Deep Dish" - crust was over cooked and the tomato topping was very acidic! Never to be mistaken for Gino's East or Lou Malnati's .. Forget my meal, not worth the effort of explaining. Note to self : because it's named the same - means nothing! Schaumburg location still reigns supreme!

What works well: -Addition of cocktails instead of just beer. -80's lounge with great music and more samples. -Maine lobster rolls. Wow! Delicious and filling. -16" of steak on a stick! Heck yes! -The Messengers band was fantastic and fun to sing along with. -Lucha Libre wrestling was a fun add in 2019. -Plenty of parking or access for drop off for Shared rides. -Plenty of restrooms at the site. What can be improved: -Adding some round high boys in the food area would be helpful. They had them near the band in 2018 but absent this year. It's hard to balance food and drink while walking around. This would really be a helpful add. -I don't recall seeing any maps of the layout at the door. Unless I just missed them, this would be helpful too. -More live music would be nice. Overall a fun event worth what you pay for VIP or G.A.

The deal is half off apps, but if you enjoy an adult beverage, the house-brewed drafts are also half off. M-Th 3-6pm, dine-in only. At least that's what it is right now. I feel like it changes, so maybe call beforehand to confirm. I only got pics of the nachos this time, which really doesn't do it full justice because they're bigger than they look in the photo. Food is always good and consistent, there's nothing really to complain about regarding service or prices, and parking has always been really easy, though that could be because we typically go on Tuesdays. I imagine weekends could be a little bit busier, but the place is pretty big, so even if you have to wait, I don't think that you'd be waiting that long. The vibe is also casual and low-key.

I had been here with my daughter about 12 years ago and remembered enjoying it then. We all had burgers and craft beer. My friends went with the Mad Max (burger of the month) and I went with a peppercorn and blue cheese burger. It was thumbs up for all of us on the burgers as well as the beer, which was unique and delicious. I took no pictures that day and just enjoyed the outing with friends, but I was especially impressed with the taste of my burger. I abstained from adding any of my usual condiments, and decided to try it as is, with just their sauce. Best decision ever! The sauce was amazing and the burger was cooked a perfect medium. Like many restaurants, Luck Monk offers their regular menu, plus flyers on their specials, including beers and cocktails. Four days later, I went right back there again on my own, to formally review it with photos. I had to go with that same peppercorn burger, because it was just so good, and to make sure the first time was a fluke. It wasn't. I tried out their chili as well, which was also good. This chef knows what he is doing. This stand alone restaurant is easy to get to, and has ample parking. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and looks high end, though I found the pricing to be reasonable. It would be a great spot to take clients for a business lunch. It's elegant looking , but unpretentious. The hostess and servers are wonderful. I highly recommend the Lucky Monk!
