While staying at the Marriott Hoffman Estates, I stopped in here for happy hour to grab a drink. I ordered their happy hour vodka, (Tito's) up with a twist. When I got the bill, it was double the price of the $9 listed for happy hour. When I mentioned this, the bartender said it was because happy hour is only for a shot and there are two shots in that drink. I'm pretty sure when I've ordered the happy hour vodka at other places as a martini I was charged the happy hour price. At this rate, it would have been cheaper to order a much better vodka. Other than this, I can say that the bar is beautiful and the staff is friendly.

Always a good meal and the ability to hear each other talk. (Unusual at a restaurant these days). One of our favorites.

We sat in the bar/lounge area which was cozy and seemed fairly modern. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout. I noticed he was also working behind the bar. Even though he was kept busy, the service did not lack at all. My husband and I shared a blueberry mojito, the chicken sandwich, and a cheeseburger. The mojito was full of ice so idk if much of a drink was actually there. The food was OK. I didn't love it, but also didn't hate it. Pricing is still pretty steep even with happy hour pricing so I was expecting quality to be much better.

When checking in at the host stand, the hostess did not seem knowledgeable about where we could be seated for the happy hour. Thankfully within the lounge, you can sit at the bar or the adjacent tables. They have a specialty bar menu where certain wines, cocktails, shareables, and sandwiches are at a discount rate. Even discounted, the items were far too expensive for portions and quality. Shareables ranged from $6-10 off, sandwiches $2-6 off, and cocktails $4 off. For drinks, I got the Pomegranate Martini which was well balanced and not too acidic. My husband got the happy hour Cab and enjoyed it. For food, I got the Zucchini Fries which were tasty and crispy. My husband got the steak sandwich which came with fries. Our friends got the chicken sandwich and cheeseburger which they thought were okay. Their blueberry mojito had A LOT of ice in it so I assume they barely got much to drink. Overall, this experience was okay. The cliental is definitely older but the inside has a contemporary aesthetic. Our server was extremely nice and upbeat which was really enjoyable. Sadly, the food and drinks just weren't good enough for me to want to revisit.

Always good food, and the service was excellent!!! Very accommodating. Just this past week we tried the Barrlet location, early dinner. What a culture shock, the restaurant had tables filled with lunch dishes, floor was dirty, we waited for over 5 minutes for someone to seat us, and another 15 til we saw a server! Being it was happy hour, I ordered a Mai Tai, didn't taste and rum or any alcohol, tasted like punch, not even any garnish, like a half orange slice, pineapple or cherry -- NOTHING! The server asked "how was that cocktail, I told him terrible! He said it was all pre-made in a jug, so getting another wouldn't matter, ha! He never offered anything else. Ordered spinach artichoke dip, it was served with multicolored tortilla chips ‍ My husband ordered a 10" stuffed sausage pizza called "The Chicago Sausage Deep Dish" - crust was over cooked and the tomato topping was very acidic! Never to be mistaken for Gino's East or Lou Malnati's .. Forget my meal, not worth the effort of explaining. Note to self : because it's named the same - means nothing! Schaumburg location still reigns supreme!

What works well: -Addition of cocktails instead of just beer. -80's lounge with great music and more samples. -Maine lobster rolls. Wow! Delicious and filling. -16" of steak on a stick! Heck yes! -The Messengers band was fantastic and fun to sing along with. -Lucha Libre wrestling was a fun add in 2019. -Plenty of parking or access for drop off for Shared rides. -Plenty of restrooms at the site. What can be improved: -Adding some round high boys in the food area would be helpful. They had them near the band in 2018 but absent this year. It's hard to balance food and drink while walking around. This would really be a helpful add. -I don't recall seeing any maps of the layout at the door. Unless I just missed them, this would be helpful too. -More live music would be nice. Overall a fun event worth what you pay for VIP or G.A.

The deal is half off apps, but if you enjoy an adult beverage, the house-brewed drafts are also half off. M-Th 3-6pm, dine-in only. At least that's what it is right now. I feel like it changes, so maybe call beforehand to confirm. I only got pics of the nachos this time, which really doesn't do it full justice because they're bigger than they look in the photo. Food is always good and consistent, there's nothing really to complain about regarding service or prices, and parking has always been really easy, though that could be because we typically go on Tuesdays. I imagine weekends could be a little bit busier, but the place is pretty big, so even if you have to wait, I don't think that you'd be waiting that long. The vibe is also casual and low-key.
