Online reviews looked really good for it so I was excited to check it out. I think I was pleasantly more surprised than I expected to be with this place. First of all the restaurant is huge, and a really beautiful aesthetic. It's clean and dark with gold lettering on the outside. The inside has this lovely high class feel to it, large rooms, clean lines, and comfortable furniture. Aesthetically for me it's a 10 out of 10. The service was exceptional. It's one of those places where you could tell that good service is not just an afterthought but a focal point. For my dinner, I was very excited to try their wedge salad and one of the appetizers. I got the corn beef plates and they were very tasty and delightful. However, the real star for me was that wedge salad. It was a well executed wedge, with an exceptional piece of pork belly that just kicked it over the top for me. I do mildly regret my decision not to eat a steak instead, but it will give me a reason to come back and see how they can cook a fine piece of meat. Do not miss this place.

Service was great overall. We took our time and put in some drink orders first and enjoyed the complementary garlicky bread. My glass of montepulciano went nicely with the meal. For appetizers, we shared the Wagyu meatball, which was huge and delightfully tender and flavorful. We also shared the garlic shrimp, which was tasty as well. I got to try a number of entrees with this big group. The frutti di mare was delicious and perfect to share. Generous amounts of tender seafood in a delicious sauce with squid ink pasta. The fettuccine Alfredo was deliciously creamy and a huge portion. The brussel sprouts were tasty and a nice side. The shaved brussel sprouts salad and chopped salad were both refreshing accompaniments to the meal and big enough to share. For dessert, we got to try the cannolis with a nice sparkler. These were tasty and creamy. I'd want to try the cheesecake and tiramisu next time. Everything was excellent and we were treated very well - will definitely want to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Since there was a private event in…read morethe bar area, we were seated in the main dining room- which is atypical for the normal Aperitivo Hour service. We ordered whipped goat cheese, arancini and fried artichokes in addition to some HH red wine. There were multiple wines that were offered versus just one red/white- which was appreciated. Our server was prompt and stopped by throughout the meal without being intrusive. I appreciated the table clean up service in between our meal and dessert as this isn't very common. All of the food was delicious and was delivered fairly quickly. I would have liked the whipped goat cheese to be a bit firmer to be easier to eat with the provided lavish. The arancini was perfection - lightly crispy filled with creamy risotto that still had texture. I was surprised that the HH arancini portion was smaller than the regular menu portion (2 vs 3) as this was different than their IG post. The fried artichokes are served with a lemon aioli that is spread at the bottom of the plate but would have been better served on the side since it gave a nice citrus perk. As we were celebrating an occasion, we were treated to cannoli and they were some of the best I've had. All in all- I'm really glad there's a new happy hour addition to the Arboretum and looking forward to the menu continuing to evolve.

I grabbed drinks with friends here on a Thursday night and we had our pick of the seats. Luckily my friend, who has been here before, grabbed us seats by the center fire place and we were able to enjoy the atmosphere; chill and, despite the aesthetic, not western-in-your-face. In fact, we were seated as some super comfy leather couches. Sure, it has some special experiences (the bathrooms are slightly confusing the first time) but I thought everything was very well done. The menu has a little bit of everything, from cocktails to beers, small plates to entrees. Again, we only had drinks but my "Campfire" cocktail was tasty (but a bit sweet). I was slightly dismayed that they were all out of both sour beers as well... oh well. For what we were looking for, a chill spot to catch up and imbibe, this place hit the mark perfectly. If you've never been then it's worth checking out.

When checking in at the host stand, the hostess did not seem knowledgeable about where we could be seated for the happy hour. Thankfully within the lounge, you can sit at the bar or the adjacent tables. They have a specialty bar menu where certain wines, cocktails, shareables, and sandwiches are at a discount rate. Even discounted, the items were far too expensive for portions and quality. Shareables ranged from $6-10 off, sandwiches $2-6 off, and cocktails $4 off. For drinks, I got the Pomegranate Martini which was well balanced and not too acidic. My husband got the happy hour Cab and enjoyed it. For food, I got the Zucchini Fries which were tasty and crispy. My husband got the steak sandwich which came with fries. Our friends got the chicken sandwich and cheeseburger which they thought were okay. Their blueberry mojito had A LOT of ice in it so I assume they barely got much to drink. Overall, this experience was okay. The cliental is definitely older but the inside has a contemporary aesthetic. Our server was extremely nice and upbeat which was really enjoyable. Sadly, the food and drinks just weren't good enough for me to want to revisit.

What works well: -Addition of cocktails instead of just beer. -80's lounge with great music and more samples. -Maine lobster rolls. Wow! Delicious and filling. -16" of steak on a stick! Heck yes! -The Messengers band was fantastic and fun to sing along with. -Lucha Libre wrestling was a fun add in 2019. -Plenty of parking or access for drop off for Shared rides. -Plenty of restrooms at the site. What can be improved: -Adding some round high boys in the food area would be helpful. They had them near the band in 2018 but absent this year. It's hard to balance food and drink while walking around. This would really be a helpful add. -I don't recall seeing any maps of the layout at the door. Unless I just missed them, this would be helpful too. -More live music would be nice. Overall a fun event worth what you pay for VIP or G.A.

The deal is half off apps, but if you enjoy an adult beverage, the house-brewed drafts are also half off. M-Th 3-6pm, dine-in only. At least that's what it is right now. I feel like it changes, so maybe call beforehand to confirm. I only got pics of the nachos this time, which really doesn't do it full justice because they're bigger than they look in the photo. Food is always good and consistent, there's nothing really to complain about regarding service or prices, and parking has always been really easy, though that could be because we typically go on Tuesdays. I imagine weekends could be a little bit busier, but the place is pretty big, so even if you have to wait, I don't think that you'd be waiting that long. The vibe is also casual and low-key.

I had been here with my daughter about 12 years ago and remembered enjoying it then. We all had burgers and craft beer. My friends went with the Mad Max (burger of the month) and I went with a peppercorn and blue cheese burger. It was thumbs up for all of us on the burgers as well as the beer, which was unique and delicious. I took no pictures that day and just enjoyed the outing with friends, but I was especially impressed with the taste of my burger. I abstained from adding any of my usual condiments, and decided to try it as is, with just their sauce. Best decision ever! The sauce was amazing and the burger was cooked a perfect medium. Like many restaurants, Luck Monk offers their regular menu, plus flyers on their specials, including beers and cocktails. Four days later, I went right back there again on my own, to formally review it with photos. I had to go with that same peppercorn burger, because it was just so good, and to make sure the first time was a fluke. It wasn't. I tried out their chili as well, which was also good. This chef knows what he is doing. This stand alone restaurant is easy to get to, and has ample parking. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and looks high end, though I found the pricing to be reasonable. It would be a great spot to take clients for a business lunch. It's elegant looking , but unpretentious. The hostess and servers are wonderful. I highly recommend the Lucky Monk!
