It was a nice night, so we sat outside. Their outside has some beach chairs in one area and some covered seating in another. We sat kinda in between off to the side and it was nice. Nothing too fancy, but also didn't feel like lawn chairs at a friend's either. Food was good, but couldn't bring myself to giving more than 4 stars. It was tasty, but could have been better. My fiend ordered the fennel and sausage wood fired pizza and thought it was good but didn't rave about it (see photo). He did like the flavor of the crust, which from past experiences I remember, If you like mushrooms, definitely try their wild mushroom pizza. They are made for one person, unless you want to share for something lighter. I had the Wood-fired Hanger Steak (see photo). Looking at it, it looked sad. The steak was flavorful but a little tough in parts. But if you compare my photo to what's on their website, you will see a noticeable difference. The description matches what I received, but come on people. Throw some ]thing colorful on the plate - would have preferred the website food, though I think it's the wrong photo based on description. LOL Our server was kind, friendly and attentive. Another gentleman popped in once and awhile to ensure everything was going well. Very friendly. We will be back, but not sure I'll order the steak again.

Online reviews looked really good for it so I was excited to check it out. I think I was pleasantly more surprised than I expected to be with this place. First of all the restaurant is huge, and a really beautiful aesthetic. It's clean and dark with gold lettering on the outside. The inside has this lovely high class feel to it, large rooms, clean lines, and comfortable furniture. Aesthetically for me it's a 10 out of 10. The service was exceptional. It's one of those places where you could tell that good service is not just an afterthought but a focal point. For my dinner, I was very excited to try their wedge salad and one of the appetizers. I got the corn beef plates and they were very tasty and delightful. However, the real star for me was that wedge salad. It was a well executed wedge, with an exceptional piece of pork belly that just kicked it over the top for me. I do mildly regret my decision not to eat a steak instead, but it will give me a reason to come back and see how they can cook a fine piece of meat. Do not miss this place.

However, I feel this place has some things to work out. The service was a little slow and I waited over 20 minutes to get a rose', only to be told they don't have any. They gave me a wine glass with Prosecco. Which was fine, but I don't know why it took so long. I was offered a free caramel appletini to try, but was confused as to why there was caramel on the outside of the glass. My fingers were so slick from just taking the glass and it almost slipped from my hand. I had to wrap the glass in a napkin to hold it, then run to the restroom to wash my hands. I was here for a Wine Wednesday event and the appetizer buffet was pretty good and they kept the food replenished. The chicken tenders were generous and flavorful, with large portions of white meat. The flat bread was good as well as the tortilla chips with guacamole, queso, salsa and sour cream. The inside decor is bright and has comfortable seating. Cute place to come with a group and enjoy their Happy Hour, Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 p.m.

When I got the bill, it was double the price of the $9 listed for happy hour. When I mentioned this, the bartender said it was because happy hour is only for a shot and there are two shots in that drink. I'm pretty sure when I've ordered the happy hour vodka at other places as a martini I was charged the happy hour price. At this rate, it would have been cheaper to order a much better vodka. Other than this, I can say that the bar is beautiful and the staff is friendly.
