I had the worst customer service I've ever had. Called GrubHub to correct my order came with two sandwiches I wasn't supposed to get one sandwich they didn't have and rather calling me they decided they were just making another sub and send it to. The worst experience we have ever had on an order and delivery. It took them 1 and a half hours to get to us. We called once and they told us 10 more minutes, then we we called again after 20 minutes they wouldn't answer the phone. We had to call on a different phone and got hung up on. Then the food showed up.. some of the food was under cooked, some of it was overcooked, and the French fries were freezer burned and dry. Most of it was inedible. I was just reading through a very few of the bad reviews and I cannot understand it. I've know both of the owners and many of their delivery drivers as well as servers and I will say one thing...before people should be allowed to post a negative review, they should at least post a photo of the "so-called, bad food they received or at least be able to tell you that they called the owner and let them know that something went wrong whether with an associate or with the food ordered. I know that either of the owners and all of those that have been working here for many years would have made the order correct or refunded the money! I hate to see people posting negative reviews and dislike even more when they cannot spell or use proper sentence structure to submit a complaint, rather just complaints and complaints without ever asking if anyone could remedy the issue! We have been going to Rosa's Villa for at least 15 years. The food and service have always been good. Last night, we ordered a Buffalo chicken calzone. We received a chicken parm calzone. (I'm attaching a picture to prove it.) marinara sauce included. We didn't get the Buffalo calzone or the Buffalo sauce. Additionally, we requested extra Buffalo sauce. We called the restaurant to tell them that we received the wrong order. The person who we spoke to was extremely rude. He kept saying it was Buffalo. It wasn't. It was chicken parm. We asked them to come and get the chick parm and swap it with the Buffalo one. We were not looking for anything for free. He refused and told me a Buffalo chicken calzone has marinara sauce on it. Never in my lifetime of eating Buffalo chicken anything has marinara sauce been put on it or included as a side. They must have made the wrong calzone. Today was not the greatest in the food, I ordered a lg pizza along with a small pizza and a chicken gyro to try. Was delivered gyro small pizza and a sandwich, when I called back to explain the mistake had happened I got a smart answer that I had made the mistake when ordering when I clearly asked for pizza. This place is outstanding!! I've been coming here for a few years now . The pizza is outstanding and not greasy like a lot of other places. All of their menu options are tasty and fresh and extremely appetizing. My family and I enjoy take out there several times a month because we love pizza and pretty much everything else on the menu. The owners are the nicest people and super helpful. I host poker games at my house and the pepperoni sheet pizza is must for every game with rave reviews from everyone. My wife and I started going there earlier this year and it's been a few different times that I've called that the owner has yelled at me for no reason. Example the number that I have the call-in he tells me to call on another number. He was very rude. His name is Michael K no I called him tonight and they said they call me back in about 15 minutes. It was over that well I called to see what's going on cause I was hungry, so Michael picked up the phone and started yelling at me again saying don't you realize because I get back to you we have a big order well that was very rude of him. Plus when I asked for the receipts every time and your delivery I never get it. His wife is very nice but he's a nasty man. I will never order from there again. There was another place we were going to. They were a little bit more expensive, but they were a lot friendlier than this place is. The food is good it's just they don't follow directions and Michael is very rude who is the owner of the restaurant and after tonight I told his driver I will never order there again. This is 4 stars, for what it is, a basic in town pizza place, with a few other good offerings. Multiple times I have been here and ordered different things and it is always pretty good food. The Pizza is solid pizza, Greek style but not as over cheesed as a lot of greek/Mediterranean pizza is. I enjoy the pizza overall for an in town pizza place. I have also ordered pastrami and chicken parm subs, as well as chicken parm here and I have always enjoyed it. The also to sheet pizza, which is always for large groups, I have taken advantage of this and ordered ahead multiple times, and always it is ready on time and usually with some extra thrown in for such large orders. The service is always friendly, and I will certainly return here for more pizza and other large orders. I have never eaten inside, I always take out. Giving 2 stars ONLY because it is close/convenient to my home and I do enjoy their pizza. I ordered a Greek chicken wrap and a BBQ chicken pizza. Took about 20 mins (standard), went to pick it up and the 2 teenagers working were on their phone and acted as if I was bothering them. Whatever, teenagers typically have a bad attitude to begin with. The place was completely deserted and is very dated and looked very dirty. Got home, had a slice of pizza which was great but unwrapped my wrap and it was DRENCHED in dressing... the entire wrap, inside and outside. Barely any taste to it and had to continuously keep spitting out cartilage/chewy pieces of chicken. It was disgusting. Threw out more than half of the wrap. I'd rather wait longer and go to Garden Pizza up the street which is my normal go-to. Figured I could switch up places but will definitely stick to Garden from now on. *****updated October 2015***** If you need a good local pizza place that delivers on the west side of Milford this is the place. A family owned pizza place with good, quality Greek style pizza( despite the Italian sounding name) and the usual pizza place fare. They offer a party pizza that is a sight to behold but has to be ordered a couple of days ahead of time. If you have a hungry mass of people to feed this is the pizza to get. The party pizza has a slightly different style of crust then their regular pizzas. I actually prefer it. The restaurant itself is mainly geared towards take out but can accommodate sit in as well. Plenty of tables. Plenty of parking. The dining room lights are usually off or dimmed but I'm sure they do that because no one usually eats in. One odd note is a disused salad bar that takes up room in the entrance and collects boxes and assorted items that's been there for years. Staff is very friendly and pleasant to deal with. You are treated like family as soon as you arrive, very welcoming. I have lived in Hopedale/ Milford area for a decade and order from Rosa's Villa often for takeout. I have never been disappointed. If my order is incorrect( a rarity) they always make good on any errors. The food is always fresh, hot and good at reasonable prices. The good: food and service. Party pizza recommended, good prices. The bad: kitchen is in need of a cleaning and some organization, dark dining room, unused salad bar. They need to expand the kitchen. Update October 2015 The interior has been remodeled. The old salad bar is gone and half the tables have been removed. Think twice about ordering on Halloween Night or plan a on a wait.They have trouble keeping up with demand at the peak dinner hours on Halloween. Still great food at reasonable prices. First time trying this place, my friend and I ordered delivery. I ordered 2 chicken tender baskets ($8.50 a piece) and a 2 liter soda (Max $3.50, although no price was listed). I was not given a total. So I assumed it would cost around $20.00-$21.00 because as it stated on their website that there is no delivery fee. When the driver showed up, I gave him $25.00. He then said very rudely, "What, you're not going to tip me?" I was shocked. He told me the total was $25 and he didnt have to be so upfront about it but he had to pay for his own gas. So I gave him an extra $5 and he left. After processing the nasty encounter I realized what happened. So my friend called them back, and she spoke to someone who told her that the order would have come $20.72, and put her on with a manager. Then the manager told her that they charge extra for honey mustard and salad dressing, which it does not state on their website, and that she could give us a credit for our next order. Let's say there will not be an next order from this place. The food wasn't very good and after this experience of highway robbery, it left a bad taste in my mouth and was a waste of $30.00. ***Edit*** I had to edit this post to deduct a couple stars. We just ordered from here a second time. Came home... wrong pizza. I ordered a pepperoni and 4-topping pizza. Got a pepperoni and cheese pizza. Ok, it has happened before, but the guy was kind of rude on top of it, so minus 1 star for the order being wrong and minus another for captain cranky pants on the phone. They had actually called me right as my husband got in the door because they realized the error. Too late. The man on the phone told me it was my husband's fault because he didn't say Eat24 when picking it up (the site we ordered through because their online ordering system isn't up and running yet)! Pretty sure they HAVE A FLIPPING NAME TOO! Anyway I live over 20 minutes away and they don't deliver to my town. They told me I could go back and get it. Twenty minutes there, 20 minutes back and 3 hungry kids. Um... no. So, I went through the Eat24 App's customer service and they were able to get a price adjustment so I paid full menu price for a large 1 topping and a large cheese. $21 total. On their site, they have a special for 1 large 1 topping and a large cheese for $16. I got screwed because they gave my husband the wrong order. Fantastic! At least the food was still good. ----------------------------- We just got done eating take out from this place and I'm already leaving a review, that's how good it is. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza (our usual order when trying somewhere new - the true test of a pizza place is how well they can make such a simple pizza.), a large Italian grinder, toasted and a Haddock dinner. OMG. That's all I can say. The grinder was superb. They followed my instructions perfectly - toast the grinder, add mayo, lettuce, tomato and onion (light on the onion). It was just out of this world - the best grinder I've had in this area and I've lived here for 7 years. That's saying something. For those that judge a good grinder by the meat to toppings to bread ratio, it was spot on. No single component was overpowering and it was just bite after bite of heaven. Seriously, stop reading and order a grinder right now. The pizza was also very good. The kids ate it without complaint. The crust was a little crispy, the cheese perfectly melted. Not too greasy at all. The pepperoni was plentiful. My husband had the haddock dinner and had no complaints (very unlike him). He seemed particularly enthusiastic about the salad that came with it, which had lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, a hot pepper and greek olives. The fries are steak-cut. They included tartar sauce, ketchup and utensils with the meal. I might ask for extra tartar sauce next time because my husband likes it. Now for a pro tip: Order through Eat24.com and you can order online. You can pay with Paypal (or credit card or Google wallet) and eat24.com also has exclusive coupons for $2 off that you can find on retailmenot.com. I don't like to be a complainer, but done with this place. 3 strikes. Food took over an hour and a half last time I ordered delivery and a hour the time before. This 3rd time the food took over an hour (less than 2 miles away, mid afternoon). Once we got the food the sandwich was completely wrong. I called to tell them and they said they were remaking it and sending it out as soon as the driver came back. An hour later he delivered the sandwich. I told them if it was going to take an hour again, I preferred a refund rather than making the second trip out, but they assured me it would be fast...which it was not. The sandwich tasted horrible (as did my husband's food that he ordered). Nobody was rude, but horrible food and service. I like the food here, but don't bother ordering delivery. I've ordered here a bunch and it's not worth it. The waits are long and the customer service is awful. After an hour and a half wait, I called the restaurant to check on my order. First he told me that I gave him the wrong address and that he had no receipt with my address, then he told me to wait a minute. Finally, he returned to tell me that the driver must be on his way, and my food would be here any minute. After another twenty minutes, another call. Again, the man said it would be 5-10 minutes. (I'm suspecting he may be lying at this point). Sure enough, after a whopping 2 hour wait, another call revealed that the kitchen had never made my order, and I could come pick up the order shortly or wait another half hour for delivery. So, there order online system is very easy. It is run by the well-own company GrubHub. Well, GrubHub gives an estimate delivery time of 9:50PM (1hr and 15min after I ordered). At 10PM, the food still had not arrived and GrubHub said they were now closed. Okay. I figured I would still get my order, or at least be able to contact the store. Nothing on multiple attempts to call. GrubHub customer service was amazing, and they also tried calling the store. They originally got nothing, but then I received an email saying my food would arrive at 10:15PM. At 10:20PM, no food had yet to arrive. I contact GrubHub at 10:25. After 10 minutes, they reached someone and the restaurant checks to see if it was made. They actually closed early so I never received my food. read more

Rosa's Villa and I got off to a rocky start. When I first moved to the area, I got a coupon in the mail from one of those valpak type mailings for Rosa's Villa. I don't remember the price, but it was for a 1 topping pizza. I called in a linguica pizza, and when I presented the coupon, was told it wasn't valid for linguica, as that was a "premium topping." I said no where does it say on the coupon that certain toppings are excluded. Guy was a little huffy, but basically said alright- I'll let you have the deal this time. I thought the pizza was just so-so, and didn't care for the coupon hassle, so didn't go back for probably 2 or 3 years. Hubby and I were looking to just get a cheap cheese pizza for the kids. Looked up Rosa's on the web- had a coupon for a large cheese for I think it was something around $6.59- no date listed. Printed the coupon right from their homepage and called it in. Hubby went to pick it up with the coupon- "oh no- that's not the current price, it's 7.99 ( or something similar) that is an old coupon...but we'll honor it this time...." Again? Really? So a year or so goes by. I'm at a friend's house. She had ordered pizzas from Rosa's- a Super Greek, a Garlic and Oregano, a Spinach, Onion & Bacon..... They were so good! Next time she had ordered pizza- still delicious. Hmmmm. I decided to give them another try. We don't order out very often, but now we get pizza from there every couple months. It's always loaded with toppings, never greasy, and really yummy. The teenagers that work there look like they'd rather be dead. I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually sit in there and eat, but yes- the pizza is good. And- last time I used a coupon for a cheese pizza, they took it- no questions asked. We've been eating Rosa's pizza for seven years and have never been disappointed. They are our pizza constant! We usually get a sausage/mushroom/pepper or a super greek pizza. Prices are very reasonable. The crust is perfect (not too thin, not too thick and always crisp).The only other menu item we have tried are the chicken wings which were excellent...crisp and not greasy. They are on the edge of Milford, but worth driving the extra few miles. read more
