I had the opportunity to try some of the food from this place at two different Yelp events so I have been wanting to try this for a while. The place has a pretty cool vibe and was not what I was expecting. The feel and look puts the PUB part of their name at front and center. The bonus is that while they don't highlight it...they obviously have someone in the kitchen who is pretty talented. The food was excellent and I have to say if I had walked by or in , I would not have considered ordering food. The staff was VERY attentive and it was a great experience. I tried the publican flatbread which was basically a cheese steak pizza. I thought it looked a little small when it was brought out but SURPRISE..it filled me up just fine, as it was much more filling than it looked. 4 stars for a solid pub. I've been to Roque (with a Q now) Pub a few times. Located on Curry Ford next to Ocean Sun Brewing, Roque Pub is a spot that I didn't quite care for the first time I went, but has really put in the time and energy to become a solid pub. During my first visit (which came about due to a coupon and outside seating for my dog), I enjoyed the great beer selection, but wasn't thrilled by the food. Fortunately, whether due to the name change or just circumstance in general, both my food and drink experiences have gotten much better. On my most recent trip for a poker tournament (good place to play if you are into poker), I sat down at the bar and grabbed a menu. While a waitress took my original beer order, a friendly bartender (can't remember his name) who has worked at Roque for several years came over, chatted with me about the bar's history, beer practices, and evolving food options, and recommended that i order the Noble Jack. I said ok and ordered it. After a few minutes, he brought it out and paired it with a new stout that he just got in. The combination was amazing! The Noble Jack is an awesome wrap with apple butter, bacon and other fun things, and the beer complimented in perfectly. Talk about coming through with a recommendation. In terms of the rest of the pub, this venue is pretty spacious with lots of dart boards (I have a friend who plays in a league there), pool tables, and outside tables for dogs. The beer selection speaks for itself, and I feel like I'm always seeing fun events happening there. Overall, Roque Pub is a solid pub with good food, an awesome beer selection, and great service in a fun spot. You guuuyyyysss. This place is fantastic! As a craft beer fan I'm always satisfied with their selection of both bottles and draft brews! Even more exciting is it's within walking distance from my house! Not only is the beer cold and tasty, the food is yummy too! My husband loves their quesadilla and I've tried their delicious wraps! If you're not starving, their chips and queso or spinach dip will please your tastebuds without leaving you feeling stuffed. Service is always prompt and friendly! We have gone here several times, it is in our neighborhood. Tracy, whom we understand is the owner was a real problem last night, every time we are there she has had an attitude and not pleasant. We have craftapped and have used it 200 plus times. We have used it here several times with no issues. It is an app that allows buy one beer get one free. Last night Tracy was behind the bar and we told her we were using the app and showed her we had unused credits there. Due to the time we each only had one, she git all belligerent and even cursed at me. I wanted to avoid further issues so I laid my phone on the bar and excused myself to the restroom. She shouted "don't slame you GD (Used the words which I choose not to) phone on my bar" not acceptable. When I returned I asked her why she was the only one that refused to honor the app...she said it was intended for one person only, and that I was trying to cheat the system. Not acceptable especially if she is the owner. She is very unprofessional not friendly is always had a bad attitude. All the other people there are pleasant helpful and friendly. My friend and I enjoyed dinner and chardonnay at RP last week. Our bartender and server were so warm and welcoming. Loved my Pub Dub and ended up taking half of it home. My dining companion inhaled his Lauter Tun (chicken quesadilla) so fast, I couldn't snap a photo. He didn't believe me when I told him the super addictive potato chips were made in house. Who knew baked chips could be so crunchy, crispy good? Parking is a bit hazardous, so beware. read more

This is a nice hangout in the neighborhood. This bar is run by an awesome woman and I must say that I like her establishment! This bar is a huge supporter of many craft beers, meads, and wine, which is a huge plus in my book! If you're coming to watch a sporting event, shoot some pool, play darts, or just hang, Roque Pub has it all! On some nights, they even have poker! I'm not a gambler, but for anyone else that's interested, you're welcome! There is some food available, you have the usual suspects such as sandwiches with a bag of chips. This is one of the cleanest pubs/bars I've ever been to. There were pool tables, TVs, and a good amount of tables to sit at. They have weekly poker games which was going on at that time. We were there for the open mic but we couldn't stay too long but what we saw was pretty good. The selection of food and beverages including alcohol were expansive. The service was great and the people there weren't sleazy as one might expect from a pub. Located in a strip mall I really didn't have high expectations of this place but once getting in there it was a very nice experience. read more

This is my husband and my weekly go-to (usually)! We love the variety of craft beers and ciders, draft and canned, local and not. Most of the beer menu changes but there's always something good. They also have a good selection of food to order. When they run out of something popular, that's the only thing disappointing. Haha Traci (one half of the owners) is always there and so awesome. It's great she's so knowledgeable and friendly. Every one that works there is so friendly and helpful. You can play darts, billiards, the tv screen games thingy and they also have phone charging stations at the bar. You can choose music from a jukebox station or there are live music/open mic nights. Went here for open mic a few nights ago and had an awesome time! This is located on a commercial plaza on curry ford. Even though it's not the most luxurious of places it is tons of fun! Lots of cool people and a very friendly and welcoming environment. And may I add, there is some amazing local talent that go here Thursday nights. Lots of good musicians out there worth looking out for! This place also offers over 500 different brews and you won't believe it until you see the menu. Their prices are fair and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Next Thursday go check them out! Orlando burger weeks $5 burger drew us across town to give this place a try. We also tried "The Silo" sandwhich and a flight of beers (1/2 off the flight when you check in on Yelp). We arrived shortly before they opened and we informed they would be opening in a few minutes by the person who turned out to be our server and bartender. So, we walked the plaza and shopped Winn-Dixie while they prepared for our arrival. The $5 burger was a good burger, no French fries at this joint but rather the burgers and sandwiches are served with chips that are seasoned in house. Not sure what that means and the surver/bartender didn't offer an explanation. Ordered a flight of beers, $4 with the Yelp check in, something the surver/bartender was unaware of, and a nice way to sample the ordinarily $8 flight. The bartender/surver warmed up some when it came to discussing beer and we also overheard this multitasker mention he is also a Realtor when not at the Roque. The Silo sandwich was a well made sandwich and also came with chips. No reason to hurry back here, pub food in a pub atmosphere. Also, a beer menu would be helpful. Standing awkwardly at the bar, borrowing a pen to write down your choices, while the beer menu changes back and forth behind the bar is, well, awkward. read more

Great dive bar with tons of craft beer selections! The inside was a lot larger than I expected it to be, so it doesn't feel overly crowded when there are a lot of people there. They have quite a few craft beers on tap to choose from that rotate, as well as an extensive bottle selection! There are TV's throughout the bar which is nice when there are sports to be watched. They also have board games to choose from as well as pool tables and darts! The staff was very friendly and on top of it when your glass was close to empty. They were also very helpful when deciding between beers and offered samples of the beers on tap if you wanted to try any. read more

I love Rogue Pub! This is definitely my "go-to" local spot for a quick beer or meet up with a friend. It's a moderately sized place with a couple pool tables, dart boards, high top tables, and bar. There is a small outside patio with 5-6 tables. The beer menu is great and constantly changing. They have started adding more and more food items, and have some good snacking options - although it's not really a "restaurant". However, I really like their queso. The servers are all very nice, and they have live music most weekends. If you're in the area and thirsty I'd recommend you stop by. read more

Pretty typical local pub with a great beer selection and decent food options. The beer options really were amazing, but the prices were a little too high to keep me from coming here regularly. I didn't look through the bottles list, but the draft list seemed to average around $8. The tables are all high tops and the chairs don't have backs; however, the chairs at the bar do. They also have a few bar games like darts and cabinet games. We ordered the Nebuchadnezzar wrap and the Export sandwich. We both agreed that the wrap was better, although both were good. The food in general was better than typical bar food, but I wouldn't come here if I was specifically looking for a great meal. Most things come with house-made black pepper kettle chips. These were actually really great but you can sub them for potato salad or something else for an upcharge. Both meals were moderately sized. Not massive, but enough food for most people. The service here was pretty good despite them messing up our order slightly. I have no doubt they would have gladly fixed it had we said anything, but it wasn't really a big deal. They seem to do fun events regularly that you can't find most places, so check their calendar if you're interested. They were having a poker tournament on one side when I was there. All in all, this place would probably never be my personal first choice but I'd also never really be against coming here if it was suggested. read more

A true beer lovers bar!! Hundreds of options from a light ale to a triple Belgium, a gose to a stout. You will find something for anyone and everyone. While the tap list isn't as long it's still good and varied. If you are unsure the bar staff is more than welcoming and willing to help you discover something new. It's a little pricey but for the beer and vibes it's totally worth it. They also have a decent pub food menu and games to play. It's a fun place to hangout. Met some friends here for a casual pint or two. The service was prompt and kind. My friend and I ordered beers, and were quickly brought to us. After some light conversation, I realized that the hunger bug hit. So i glanced at their food menu, and decided on wings. Upon ordering them, the server informed me that the hot was made with carolina reaper (I think?), so I went with medium. Wings were hot in temperature, a bit of spice, with blue cheese. Would recommend ordering. There are traditional cork dart boards and plastic, electronic ones. My friend and I chose to use the electric boards, and were not plagued by the many pieces of broken tips you normally find. Overall, it was a nice pub that I will visit again. read more

My first time going to Roque Pub was to watch football. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it was very quit for a game night. They did end up having live music which was nice, but I would've liked a bit of a different atmosphere for a football game. The food was awesome and the beer selection was pretty good. A lot of IPAs and less "simple" pale ales so if you aren't a big IPA fan you might not be as pleased. The service was 5 stars-all employees were awesome! I'll deff be back to enjoy the brews, food and live music! read more

2017 Review 64/100 A chill and casual craft beer bar. No frills. Just good brews and good times. They have a great beer selection and a few wine options as well. The staff is very friendly and will offer some great recommendations if you're not sure what you want. They have some pretty solid food options too. And a few pool tables and dart boards so you can enjoy some friendly competition while you enjoy your libations. The space is actually a pretty good size. The night I was at Rogue Pub there were a lot of people there but it didn't feel overly crowded. Occasionally they host fun events. I stopped in for Plant Nite with a few girlfriends and it was a great venue for that. We were able to relax and enjoy some food and drinks prior to getting started on our succulent creations and the bar was big enough to accommodate a few tables for all who were there for the event. All-in-all, a great chill place to stop in for a drink and hang out with friends. I will be back. read more

Went here with some friends after dinner one night and it was a really cool place! They have a huge selection of beers, both on tap and bottles. There were lots of TV's and several tables watching soccer. We were just hanging out but I think watching a great football game here would be fun! We didn't order food, but saw several people ordering and the food looked great too! A very mixed crowd, but I totally felt comfortable and not out of place. Just happened upon this little gem. During this crazy life that's happening I was browsing door dash when I found Roque pubs menu. Food was pretty awesome. I ordered the salad (Cold break), and hubby had the double burger with home made chips (Pub dub). He was loving the chips that were the consistency of kettle chips, and he said the burger was very tasty. My salad was enough for dinner plus lunch the next day. You should give them a try. I walked by this place months before I figured this was not a 1% biker club hangout. Rather, it is far from intimidating; it is a mere sports bar in a strip mall, complete with expected of plethora of beer signs/sports paraphernalia hanging on walls, pool tables, pinball, a golf video game with the little rollie ball thing, and dart boards. While I waited on my food the first time I watched older dudes play darts and cuss and talk junk to each other and that was a good time. I've went there two other times; the first I satisfied a wing craving with their pretty good wings watching the Bucs suck at football then the second I chugged 3 L's of Weinhenstephaner to the dome and gorges on their heat exchanger flatbread because it is fire bar food, literally in taste because I got their hottest sauce but so dang good. Since I've been exposed to this fish I have ordered it on Uber eats at least 7 times. With that being said I have returned here via in person or through delivery orders due to my laziness but their food and beer selection are mucho goody and it is a great place to relax and drink and chill, great local bar. My friend frequent here more than I do, but with friendly staff and good service I can't complain. I Also enjoy their music system which allows you to que up and request a song through your phone. Restrooms are clean and the pool tables and dartboards keep you entertained. They also have pretty delicious food, I was completely satisfied. read more

Where have you been all my life Rogue Pub?! This place is awesome, a true local gem I wish more people knew about. Rogue Pub has an incredible beer selection, with lots of local crafts for you to pick from. If you're a beer lover, you are going to love this place, true story! If you're going for the food, I would say stick to apps, that's the only reason why I'm giving Rogue Pub 4 instead of 5 stars -- their food could be better. Rogue Pub is located at the corner or Crystal Lake and Curry Ford road. The pub offers a nice amount of space inside to belly up to the bar or chill with friends at high tops. There is a pool table and 4 huge TVs to entertain you if you are looking for some distractions. They had the UFC fights on while we were there, so they might have the larger PPV fights and games on. There was a good guitarist play a selection of classic through more modern rock on the Saturday we visited. Craft beer is the focus at this bar, there are about 8 on tap and 5 pages worth available by the bottle. The only thing missing from the menu was a write up on the beers, which would be helpful. Happily, the staff knows the available beers well, so hubby was happily sipping his favorite Agave Wheat in just a few minutes. Service was great throughout the night. Nice time with a big group, as we had, or just a friend. No one should drink alone. ;) read more

Solid neighborhood pub with tons of beers on tap and a bottle menu that when laid out end to end would wrap around the building twice. I enjoyed the Green Flash West Coaster IPA on Tap, but there is plenty to choose from. The staff is friendly and treated us like regulars even though it was our first time there. They also serve food, mainly wraps, sandwich like this. I got the Ham and cheese wrap. Which contained brie and gouda. It was good, the ham was a bit salty . It's a large wrap which comes with a pickle and a small bag of chips. A win-win for me is that it is within stumbling distance. So This place may become a habit for me. read more
