I had my husband's birthday and retirement party at Ropers and I am so pleased with the turnout. I knew I was going to be out of town the whole month before the event, so I wanted a place that would make planning a breeze by taking care of most details. We had approximately 55 guests which meant we reserved half of the restaurant. We chose chips and salsa, mozzarella sticks and pretzel bites to be placed at all the tables and they made cupcakes in the flavor and color of my choosing. Guests were able to order drinks and other food from the menu and were given their own check. Our servers Sarah and Margaret were incredible. They were friendly and efficient. Food came out in a timely manner even with the restaurant being full. They allowed me to arrive early to decorate the tables and pay my bill so I didn't have to worry about it during the party. I elected to use their Photo Booth vendor, Cheese On. She was wonderful and guests had fun doing pictures and immediately getting them on their phone. The vendor stayed on site which eliminated any confusion on using the device. She was very friendly and made sure to remind me of time so I could inform my guests. I would absolutely recommend others to have an event here and would do it again myself if needed. read more

I've been here twice. The food is pretty good. The fried fish is crispy. The fries are delicious! The fruit is fresh. The French dip was very very good. The waffle was a little overly sweet. The buffalo wings are super good. The service is really good. Can get pretty crowded and busy so wait times can be long but it's expected. The ambiance is very nice. Clean restaurant and restrooms. The drinks are cold and tasty. The DJ plays good music. You gotta come check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed. read more

Freddy cooks a very good burger. Great place. . Good happy hour prices. Great place to relax.

Food is AMAZING!! I love the Southwest Style Egg Rolls & Texas Style Cheese Fries. The food has great quality, well portioned, and amazing taste!! I have tried a verity of dishes and I haven't been disappointed. Service is so nice, the staff and bartenders are wonderful, friendly, and super helpful at helping you pick a drink or an item that will satisfy your needs. One thing I really appreciate is that they offer Mocktails The ambiance is a country vibe. I have gone in my cowgirl attire and sports gear as well. There is always great music and lots of tv for us sports fans. Any seat in the house has a good TV view! This place is great for a date night or an outing with the family. The owners are there making sure your experience and standards are met. Their social media page always list their specials, events, and line dancing nights. Definitely worth a visit! read more

I had a really great experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. I have been there quite a bit, I never been disappointed in any of the food items I have ordered. Not to mention the drinks are cold and tasty. The portion sizes are worth the price, and everything looked just as good as it tasted. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was also very clean and had a nice atmosphere, which made the experience even better. It is also family friendly I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and great service." read more

A friend and I stopped in at Ropers on Friday night and had such a great experience. The atmosphere was friendly, and our server, Lexi, was the sweetest! She took the best care of us and made our night even better. My favorite drink was the raspberry margarita, so good! Definitely take advantage of their happy hour menu and World Cup special. Very disappointed in comparison to my last visit. Ordered the 16oz ribeye and it was a complete disappointment. I have ordered 100's of ribeyes in my life and this was nowhere near the correct size to what I ordered. It was thin and dry and charred on the outside and just overcooked for medium rare. Even though it was kinda busy food should have been better. Waitress was good but that was about it. read more

I've been to this establishment 6 different times. They have a policy identity crises. On multiple occasions I was told by servers that they offered pitchers on Wednesdays and sundays or game days but when I've gone on both days they said that they don't offer them and deflected on the opposing day. If it's such a big deal just don't offer them at all. It's so annoying that I spend my twin to travel to the establishment and they don't even honor what I was told by their workers. Until it's posted somewhere I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

We used to go all the time now service is just horrible. Then to find out the person serving us is suppose to be the manager there. I called to give a complaint and she said she is a manager. She has no Customer skills at all. This is the second time she's been rude to me and my husband. Then watched her take out the trash touch food and drinks and not wash her hands that's disgusting. And touch her hair. Horrible. I don't normally complain but they need to fix that for sure. Lindsay needs to be replaced for sure. Makes us not want to go back. And she really needs to make sure she is washing her hands when handling food and drinks. read more

Nicola was the absolute best. She made being at the bar extremely fun and I had a great experience. I will 100% be coming back again for more great times. read more

Great place for a burger and a brew! My favorite is the Roper, which is a ribeye steak, accompanied by a loaded baked potato. They have a full bar and occasionally have live music. It's a laid back environment to where you can catch your favorite game on tv, hang out with friends for a night out, or take the family out for some grub...without the all of the riffraff. read more

Ambience is nothing extravagant, but clean. Small, with enough seating, at the bar or booth, tables around the bar. TV's to see sporting events. Great menu with American, and some Asian dishes. Chicken or beef bowl was delicious, recommend. Service excellent. Free parking somewhat limited. Nice local business to relax and settle down from the day. read more

If you're anywhere near Hesperia or Oak Hills, Ropers Lounge is an absolute must. The food is consistently awesome, and the portions are no joke--you definitely get your money's worth. The drinks are always on point, whether you're keeping it simple or trying something new. What really sets this place apart is the service. The waitresses and bartenders are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It's clear the owners genuinely care about the experience. The vibe is one of the best parts--laid-back, welcoming, and full of locals who give it that true community feel. You'll see a lot of familiar faces from Oak Hills and Hesperia, which just adds to the charm. Juan and Natalie, the owners, are often there themselves, making sure everything runs smoothly and that guests are taken care of. That personal touch goes a long way. The Country Music is always great. Whether it's the regular playlist or a live band, the volume is perfect--you can actually enjoy the music and have a conversation without yelling across the table, which is rare these days. My wife and I go as often as we can, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend Ropers Lounge 100%! -- Moises & Josie Gutierrez read more

I pulled into the lot intending to support the business, but first stopped 20 feet away to meet my husband. The manager, who had originally double-parked in a way that blocked other spots before finally correcting himself, approached me and told me the space was "only for customers," without even asking if I was one. The assumption was loud. I was literally on my way inside. Thankfully, the bartender was incredibly kind and attentive; he truly made up for the moment. The music was great, the lemon drop ($11) was solid... but there was still a bitter aftertaste from how I was initially treated. If you want exclusive parking, pay for signage like other businesses do. Don't lead with prejudice. Next time, lead with kindness. This bar needs the kind of community energy your employees are already offering. read more

The Ropers food is consistently amazing-- from the egg rolls, burgers and especially the Roper Bowl. My favorite is also the steaks cooked by the best Azmar-- perfectly done every time. I've had great service from Karrie, Kristi & Rachel ... all these ladies truly stand out. They are friendly, attentive, and make every visit feel personal. Their conversations and positive, great attitudes and are the definition of top-notch service. We tried Ropers on a recommendation and also after reading Yelp reviews. The atmosphere is nice. It's clean and the decor makes it a comfortable spot. My husband had the 18 oz ribeye and I had the animal style patty melt and sidewinder fries. We started off with the zucchini. Everything was really good. The zucchini was crispy on the outside and not mush on the inside like some places. A nice sized firm piece of zucchini in each one. The side salad was perfect. Husband liked this steak more than from any other place in the high desert. The asparagus was perfect in texture and flavor. My very large sandwich was very good. Not dry. I was really hungry but still had to bring half of it and half of the yummy fries home. Our server Nicola was attentive and very pleasant. She is a real asset to this establishment. Because of her I'd give six stars instead of five for customer service with a great attitude. We found the pricing to be reasonable for the food quality and portions. Give it a try! I hope you will be as pleasantly surprised as we were! read more

The atmosphere is nice and calming. The food is great! I've been here 4x's since they've opened and have not been disappointed. The restrooms are clean and stocked. The service has been 100! Sit at the bar or sit at a booth, they won't forget about you. :) So far we have had the following: mozzarella sticks 10/10, sampler 10/10, Ropers wings 8/10, calamari 10/10, the ranchers choice 10/10, half rack ribs dinner 9/10, the hangover burger 10/10, Nashville chicken sandwich 10/10, street tacos 10/10, fried cod tacos 8/10. If I can, I'd like to suggest a spicy salsa for the tacos. Other than that, this place is spot on. My family and I will be back. Hopefully soon. read more

This review is long overdue! We are so happy to have Freddy as a cook here. His food is always delicious. The Patti melt is my favorite and the steaks are juicy and very flavorful. It's really nice when a bartender takes the time to get to know your preferences! Aspen makes the best Tequila Sidecar! The traditional one was just as delicious! Chelsea is also great. She makes a delicious chocolate martini but her Espresso Martini is the best! We love coming here. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and very inviting. read more
