The young man at the register lacks customer service skills. We ordered the fries with al pastor and the pork in green chile plate. The older man was very kind and attentive to everyone's orders/ needs. Unfortunately, upon arriving home we realized that our order was incorrect. We received carne asada and not al pastor. The meat was almost non existent and the fries were very undercooked. The pork plate lacked flavor and the sauce was a dark brown rather than green. The rice was good but the beans were over cooked and mushy. Overall we didn't really like what we ordered but based on all the other positive reviews, we'll give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe we just came on an off day or didn't order the right things. Taco My Hacienda (TMH) is located in the same shopping center as McDonald's and Stater Brothers where we usually eat and shop at, respectively. I've never eaten at TMH until a few months ago. My daughters and I just got done ordering at Two Zone Chicken that is a couple doors down from TMH. I looked over and saw TMH and said why not try them today. So we walked over and there weren't too many people at the time which was good for us. I love shrimp so anything shrimp for me is good. I went with the shrimp burrito. It was a really good burrito. Lots of rice and beans plus the shrimps. It comes with your choice of sauce. I will return to try their ceviche and tacos next time... another favorite of mine at Mexican restaurants. I couldn't help it to buy some Jarritos... love the Mandarin flavor... Pineapple is good, too... and a new likable flavor Tamarind. Staff was okay. Price was decent. Atmosphere was okay. Ever since relocating to the HD, Taco My Hacienda has not disappointed. We were in search for food that would be at the level of East Los and so far this spot is it. If your familiar with King Torta or Carnitas Michoacan, then you will be pleasantly impressed with the quality and quantity of the food they serve. They have a salsa bar that the staff is happy to pack for you before you get your order. I wanted to post a picture of the asada fries but they didn't make it all the way home. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito; I'm not Mexican, but I am from San Diego and I know good Mexican food. I've never had a CA burrito with beans and rice, that should have been a hint that they were skimping on the meat, or in my case hiding the fact the the meat was old. As they were making it the prep cook was preparing to pile on raw onions. "Oh, thats enough, thank you." I was too hungry and ate half, about two hours later I had a fowl taste in my mouth, I assumed it was the onions. So I'm gonna give my honest review as some of these seem a little to good to be honest reviews. Staff was friendly and helpful while taking my order, Price of the food seemed to be reasonable considering the pictures on Yelp, Till we got our actual food.. The carne asada fries were probably the worst I've had, Extremely cheesy and watery so the fries tasted like cheese. There was hardly any carne asada on the fries as well which defeats the purpose of carne asada fries. Now the asada in my burrito was better than most asada I've had! But they seem to give very small portions of meat for some reason which takes me back to the price. The burritos and especially the fries need more meat for the $$$ that you pay. read more

I visited this Restaurant on April 25th. When first walking up to the door there was a couple different people outside asking for money and smoking cigarettes. Myself and I'm sure most if not all of your customers would appreciate it if you were to ask those to not pan handle or smoke near ur entrance. Now for the review. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly. The food was ok I've tried lot of tacos in the high desert and I will say the flavor of ur carne asada is probably one of the best. But sadly that wasn't the case for everything. The carnitas was way to fatty ( I felt like I as eating straight grease) and the tortillas you guys use are to strong flavored and over powers the flavor of the meat. I sanded up having to take one of the two tortillas out which was kinda weird for me . Ur el-pastor taco was different then most as it was pretty sweet tasting but this was good . If u were to get better tortillas the food would most definitely be better but that's my opinion. Keep the Asada the way it is and change the carnitas if possible and the tortillas , and this will be my new taco place when I'm wanting Asada. read more

So delicious!! We stumbled upon this taco shop on our way back home to San Bernardino. I was craving some tacos and I am so happy that we found this place. We loved everything we ordered. We specially liked the salsa bar because it had something for everyone. My husband loves spicy and I can only do mild, and there was something for both. Here is was we ordered: Shrimp tacos- the shrimp is grilled and delicious and it's a great "lean" option Tacos de asada and carnitas- the meat tastes great! We've been to places where the meat is too fatty but here it was perfect. Carne asada fries- we asked for nacho cheese as well, they were bomb. It comes with sour cream and guacamole. These seemed to be popular because there were like 8 orders of these. Got sick from the tacos: We really wanted to like this place but besides the habanero hot sauce, the tacos were not good. On the first bite, we can tell that the carne asada and carnitas meat were old. We picked up the food and ate in our car right outside the restaurant and immediately after eating, we threw it up. Being born and raised in Los Angeles, I searched for a burrito that equaled the tastiness of La Estrella or the taco lady's asada tacos. My Hacienda comes pretty damn close to home! I stumbled upon this place upon one of my afternoon drives from Orange County and into the High Desert. That's when I discovered it. So when my mom craved something mexican, I took her to this affordable joint. I ordered a Hacienda Chicken Salad which was pretty fulfilling but the chicken was on the salty side. It was a bed of shredded lettuce and cabbage, freshly thin slices of tomato lining my plate, topped with some sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and chicken. My mom ordered the Chille Relleno, served with a side of frijoles and rice. I have to agree with my mom, the Chile Relleno was more oil than it was chille or cheese. Of course, I had to bring my brother an asada and rice burrito, which was definitely like the $3 burritos from LA only this time this burrito was a good $5. I do like and appreciate the fact that you can top your burrito or tacos before they close it up with a variety of fresh made toppings. Their Hacienda salsa is pretty killer.
