My husband's family has been coming to this restaurant for many years and for the past 4 years I've also gotten a chance to enjoy the food from this restaurant. There is a brunch buffet here every Sunday which is nice because I get as much menudo or pozole amongst other yummy dishes! Staff and Owner are always very attentive and provide amazing customer service!

Empty trays. Sopas and noplas with chicken.

We went for the highly publicized Sunday brunch. Granted at a price point of under 20 dollars we weren't expecting the moon, but many of buffet trays were empty for an extended amount of time. The food was very slow to roll out of the kitchen and we found ourselves waiting for food. Another big problem, there's something going on with their plumbing. The area near the restrooms had a horrible sewer smell. With that said, when the food did come out it was good! And, the staff were extremely friendly. But the kitchen needed to pick up the pace. The photos were taken on one pass of the buffet table, too many empty trays.....

I have always been a fan of Don Garcias' Sunday Brunch buffet, but given the times of this pandemic, they have discontinued this wonderful brunch time (until further notice). But this is okay, because Don Garcias still has wonderful food and service. Don Garcias has a variety of dishes and I always try something different. You can not go wrong with the fajita, the flautas dish serves a delicious portion, and the beans and rice is always a good combination. I go to Don Garcias for its food, portions, reasonable prices, and hospitality. Plus, I have a soft heart for the waiter that I think is Don Garcia himself (he's not) because no matter what time, he is working at Don Garcias and is my waiter. There is never a huge crowd, but it does get busy. It's a very family-oriented restaurant, and you can sit and enjoy the chips and salsa. If you don't mind the 1980's throwback furniture, this is a great place to go!

The food was amazing. We tried their Sunday brunch. It was really good and the customer service even better. We will definitely be back.

It's a charming local spot with a cozy, intimate vibe that's perfect for a first date or a quiet night out. That said, the prices are extremely high for what's offered, especially if you're coming in with family. It's not the most affordable option for a regular dining experience, and that was disappointing considering how much I enjoy supporting local restaurants. If you're looking for a romantic, local place to try once, especially for a date night, I'd still recommend stopping by. But for families or anyone watching their budget, just be prepared for the higher price point.

We came for dinner, and the lighting was very dim, making it hard to read the menu (they also use QR codes, but I prefer a physical menu). We started with the ceviche verde limon, which had very little shrimp, lots of onion, and it needed more lemon. Our bartender, Carlos, was friendly and made excellent cantaritos (10/10). Unfortunately, the entrées didn't impress. The Camarones de Don Lupe were chewy and tasted previously frozen, however the salsa they came with was very tasty and the carne en su jugo was just okay. Overall, great vibe but overpriced for the food quality. I might return for brunch since I've heard they have live mariachi.

The food was delicious, well prepared, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt cozy and relaxed. The only small downside was the coffee service. After our main dishes were served, we were pretty much forgotten when it came to refills. We had to ask several times for more coffee. Not a huge issue, but something that could definitely be improved. We would still come back for sure. Great food and a pleasant place for brunch.

We have been loyal patrons of La Casita for many years. But tonight they put us in the back room by the restrooms. Larger tables for larger parties. There was two larger parties back there and it was the three of us and my 88 yr old mother n law for her birthday. Well they were ridiculously loud the more they drank ( booze) the louder they were! I mean come on people you have no respect for others! We were just trying to have a nice dinner. I wanted to yell out "Shut the hell up!" But I didn't. They are not in their home for Pete's sake! I wish the establishment would have quieted them down. I couldn't even finish my dinner.... I took it home. So if you read this La Casita, please don't place a small party in a room with a lot of loud drinking people! We love going there but this particular evening was very disappointing.
