The beans and rice came out cold but the server had no issue at all to exchange it for another plate and came out quick. Our server was quick to bring out the refills for these thirsty kids. We haven't been here in about a year. Ever since they became a "Tequila" Kitchen, it's gone hill. Today's meal was the worst, and last, we will ever have here! The chips and salsa were half goo. Salsa great/ chips hard and tasted as if they were prepared earlier in the day! The chili relleno was not even luke warm and the cheese was hard and tasteless! The posole also lacked flavor and was warm, not hot. For $43.00 I expect better tasting food and better service! I really don't understand all these rave reviews. This is our second time eating here on our drive through to Las Vegas. The drinks in this spot are insanely delicious and well crafted. Last year we stopped just for the Christmas cocktails. The specials were not here this year as we came AFTER Christmas. But no mind, the cocktails on the menu are delicious also (they allowed me to make their hibiscus guava mescalito spicy and it was great! My boyfriend was pleasantly surprised at their camerones diablo ACTUALLY being spicy as so many other places don't put any Scoville units to their dishes. (He gives it a solid 4,000 units with possibility to 5,000). I'm giving this place a pass on their chilli relleno which had subpar breading and was covered in watery tomato sauce as the rest of their food/service/presentation kinda made up for it. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a big smile and sat us down really fasts... as we sat down the waiter already had chips and salsa and a small bowl of beans to also enjoy with chips! The prices were pretty affordable, the food was really good. The chilaquiles were great they just weren't spicy but lots of flavor. Our waitress was phenomenal, very attentive and courteous. I ordered quesabirrias and while I will say the meat was tender, there was nothing special about it.. at all. We were looking for a nice restaurant in Victorville to eat at. This one stood out. I would definitely say the ambience of the restaurant is a 10 out of 10 beautiful bar beautiful entrance. The staff is also so so nice. They give you a side of salsa, and like a bean dip with chips and OMG that beet dip is so good! I didn't really like the salsa. It was like too sweet it taste tasted like the one from the store. I had a tostada ceviche mixta 5/10 I don't think the fish was that fresh. My second time dining here. First time was good. Ordered the Chile verde and it was ok but not much flavor. Went back again and decided to try the Chile verde once more and it was the same. Kinda bland. But this time later that evening and all night I was on the pot with diarrhea so the chile verde may not have been cooked properly and I know it was that as I brought home my leftovers and the wife ate it and she too this morning said she also was experiencing the same problem. He was the only bartender on a busy Friday night & he kept calm & we didn't wait long at all for drinks. A few other employees would stop by & ask if he needed help & then would do one thing & leave again. That didn't seem helpful to me but Angel still handled his workload smoothly. I don't know where to start so I'll start with my waiter. His name was Anthony very very nice young man kept a smile on his face. Very pleasant to speak with. This young man was on his toes.
