Gave them a 4 mostly because I rounded up. More like 3.5. Food was good but not really anything crazy special. Ordered the 3 taco plate and went one of each meat. Chicken was cooked well and not dried out which was a plus. Shredded beef and ground beef were decent and had some flavor as well. I did ask for salsa verde on the side to put on the tacos and definitely a good choice. Biggest negative is it was very warm where we were sitting. Thanks to the manager Estevan for the hair in my food and telling me "no one has hair in the back". Came here for a birthday breakfast with my parents and having to wait an extra 20 min for another plate to come back out. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! The manager is very rude and disrespectful, he also discriminates his customers! I wish there was some way to complain to the owner but I'll just be contacting the better business bureau, they would not even give me any information as to who to give a complaint to! Because the manager is only one to make complaints to, but he's the one causing the problems. These problems are significantly going to get worse. I'm sure he feels comfortable knowing he can do whatever he wants and treat customers however he wants because there's no one else above him watching. One of our guests was playing music on there phone and the manager/server told him in a rude way to turn it off, when my guest said I'm sorry I'll turn it down I just wanted to listen to music, the managers response was "no importa" very rudely, (that basically means I don't give a f**k) in English, so we turned it off, and he proceeded to take orders! So after, we went to the front desk, asking nicely for a different server to take our order, they said it was no problem, but then a couple minutes later the manager walked over to our table with his hands up "saying is there going to be a problem", and he said it very aggressively! I then told him we felt he was rude and he proceeded to kick us out, which lead to more issues, I have never been to a restaurant where you're not satisfied with the service and ask for a different server, and the same server (which was the manager) comes up very aggressively to confront customers in an unprofessional manner, seeking to make problems worse! Today is June 6th 2022. I was greeting with a warm welcoming immediately when I walked in. Music was playing and it wasn't too busy. I ordered to go, and was offered chips and salsa to go with my order. Took maybe 10 min for my order to be done. The flavor of everything was on point. The fries are my favorite, they have an extra crunch to them. The meat was tender and I only got one piece of fat (which is a good thing for me). The amount of everything was okay. I was asked if I wanted everything on it, I had said yes. When I opened my order, all the toppings were on the side. The sour cream and guac sides are somewhat small and the amount of fries is not a lot compared to other places, but I suppose it fits the price. My suggestion would be to add more fries and bump up the price a tiny bit, or have a half order maybe. Otherwise, the farewell was awesome as well and my order was correct and delicious! When we all arrived, this area was already seated with a lighter shade, party. So they attempted to squeeze us into an area that would have comfortably seated maybe 15 people. They then tried to separate and sit my family of 5 at a booth made for 4 people on the other side of the restaurant. We asked for a chair and was told nope, no chairs available. We said heck no! We would of had to squeeze 3 teenager boys, my husband and I in there. We had noticed before, that lighter shades would always get slightly better service, but wasn't anything outrageous. Not all the servers behaved like this. So we would put up with it. Never again. There ate way too many better restaurants near by to put up with this. To start review, I would only give it a half star if the app would've allowed me. Party of four of us went in and had to wait for an order of just tacos and a chile Relleno for over 40 minutes. Unacceptable! The worst service I have had up here in the high desert yet. The food was horrible! Their pork was dried and chewy, and the beef was like chewing beef jerky; extremely tough and taste old not fresh at all. I will not be returning. We ordered a shrimp cocktail for my daughter and you wont believe it came with 4 little fuckin shrimp in a huge glass of water And cucumber. The soup has a shit ton of salt in it. I wasn't going to Yelp my review at the end of May hoping it was just a bad day for the manager, but after my friend had the same experience this last Friday, I feel like I should go ahead and let the Yelpers out there know. My friends and I like to meet after work sometimes for drinks and food. We usually have a group of between 9-12. Our group is never rowdy or rude. Everyone always orders at least a drink and most order food too. We always tip. We even have a saying at work where we say is this a Los Domingos Friday? When I arrived before the rest of the group he said, "Oh I know your group, why do you guys come here?" He said it like he was annoyed by us. I told him that we can take our business somewhere else kind of in a joking way, because I wasn't sure if he was being serious or trying to joke with me. I couldn't imagine a manager of a business who is never crowded would say that to returning customers. If we were a very rowdy and unruly group I would get it, but we aren't. The only reason I can understand why he doesn't like us is because we usually are on separate tickets and not everyone arrives all together because people are coming from work. It's unfortunate that he doesn't appreciate our business. The drinks are okay and the food has never blown my socks off, but the location is close to work and they are usually not busy so it is easy to get a seat. Well, he has gotten his wish and we will no longer be back. We will be happy to find a place a little further away with better food and service. Good luck to you Mr. Domingos. I walked in at 4 pm on a Sunday with my husband and mother. It was very empty yet no one greeted us or made an effort to help us get seated. A girl at the bar looked at us, laughed and seemed to be talking about us with another coworker who was also behind the bar and turned towards us and looked away as if we weren't waiting or anything. Every worker kept walking past us, until I finally asked a male worker who seemed to be a manager because he was in all black compared to the other employees, if there was anyone who could get us seated. Went in there to order two Michelada's we noticed they left some beer in the bottle and did not want to give it to us when asked for the remaining beer they gave us an attitude. The Michelada's were horrible very generic you can tell that they added fake lime juice to them. The micheladas did not even taste good. When we realized it was not the same los domingos in apple valley we asked for the check. Two micheladas came out to 25 dollars. Feeling so disappointed and disrespectful I was at los Domingos in Hesperia to pick up an order I had made over the phone, I spoke to chris the owner and ordered a menudo to go, I asked him for extra pata and even requested to get some extra on the side and I would pay for it, he said let me ask my cook and came back to the phone and said no problem we'll have it in 15 minutes, I got there when I went inside the employees, the manager Esteban nor the business owner Chris were wearing any masks none of the staff I saw were wearing masks, Chris the owner looked as he had just woken up, looking very impresentable, I felt like canceling my order however I paid and left, when I got home I opened my cup of menudo and it did not have any pata as I requested it made me very upset so I called the restaurant and asked to speak with Chris I explained my situation politely and calm Chris response was we didn't have pata and stayed quiet so I responded why wasn't I told so I could've made a decision if I wanted it or not, Chris response was we are making you a favor by selling you the menudo, omg I was furious by this time I told Chris I am the customer I am making you guys a favor by coming to your restaurant and buying from you, he was rude and absolutely did not care and hung up the call, making me even more furious, I called a second time and asked chris did you just hang up on me and he said yes I did, I told him he was rude and I was going to post a bad review on yelp and he did not care he's manager Esteban took the phone from him and told me chris did not want to talk to me and asked what happened I explained what happened and I told Esteban that Chris was rude and he told me he was making me a favor and when I told chris I'm the customer I'm making him a favor Esteban laughed. Both of them were rude and disrespectful and did not care about the situation.
