We come to this restaurant every time we're driving from San Diego to Mammoth or Tahoe for a quick bathroom break and to get breakfast burritos. Daniel is the guy, probably the owner, who works there every time and cooks our food and takes our order. He's super friendly and the food is super good and fresh and I love the breakfast sauce. They have kids meals, my husband and I always get breakfast burritos. It's always really good and friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Great opportunity to fill up your gas tank and get some good Mexican food which is much better than the food most of the various travel centers offer. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place, I'm a little snooty when it comes to hole in the wall places, but this was hands down the best surf and turf burrito I have had. Customer service is not the greatest. I posted the menu because I wanted to get a new burrito since the ingredients did not disclose that any of the burritos have mayonnaise. I just wanted a remake and the cashier said that it was my fault that I did state that I didn't want the mayonnaise, it is not listed in the breakfast burrito. Then she went on to tell me that next time you need to say you didn't want it. I responded with, will the menu be updated, and she responded the owner said it will be. The food was ok nothing special about it typical tacos next to gas station taste, I ordered loaded fries and they were loaded but with so much nonsense and not enough meat, I was struggling to find a piece of carne asada. I was really hoping to like this place so I actually gave it try, twice. First time they messed up the breakfast burrito by putting potatoes in it when I was very clear to say no potatoes due to medical dietary restrictions. Ok, mistakes happen so we gave them another try tonight. They used Rosarita CANNED refried beans in the bean and cheese burrito. The canned beans have a very distinct taste, and there's no mistaking them for fresh made beans. Needless to say it's pretty sad that a basic burrito like bean and cheese isn't made fresh by a Mexican restaurant. The red sauce for the chicken enchiladas is basic at most, and wouldn't be surprised if that is canned as well. Very disappointing. read more

The staff is always willing to help and please the customer I've been here many of times and I have never been disappointed on their lack of food and service, sometimes it does get a little hectic, but patient is a virtue and you will get your food in a timely manner if you're in a hurry or on a tight schedule, it is best to call in and pre-order your food and the time you pick up the food on all in all great place very reasonable prices. Looking at these other reviews I must have chosen a bad day or ordered the wrong thing. My kids loved their bean and cheese burritos and my husband said his burrito was spicy but decent in terms of flavor and filling, his burrito was well made. My enchiladas would have been good but the sauce just was not right.. it tasted like marinara sauce with sugar.. very strong tomato flavor but way too sweet for enchilada sauce. I was also disappointed at the portion size of my beans and rice which was about two bites each. read more

This place is a hidden gem and this is now officially my favorite Mexican restaurant in the High Desert area !! The food are authentic and you can taste everything is made from scratch! Never had such a good shrimp and carne asada in the burrito for a while! Staff are friendly and locally owned and run by a family. We can tell this place is a local hit, people are phoning in , and grab taken out orders non stop. It is clean, newly renovated and have lot of space within the restaurant , definitely good for a large family gathering here. It is a pleasant joy to sit here enjoy the meal and the view of the mountains, which not a lot of restaurant offers that in the HD area. Definitely coming back order more food and desserts ! i ordered 4 beef tacos and a beef burrito. the tacos were absolutely terrible, cold meat, very small pre-fried shells ( taco Bell is better) a little bit of lettuce and even less cheese. zero taste in the meat. the burrito was not much better, but couldn't taste anything but the cilantro. and $12- forget it! sorry wisa one and done for us. next time it's Del Taco read more
