I chose this spot to meet up with a friend on the South part of town and we've both been trying to eat healthier as individuals! The location is tucked away from the Main Street, across from burgerteca, so it might take a little longer to find but there's also a banner that helps direct you towards it, so be on a lookout for that when you go! Place itself is on the smaller side and feels a bit more intimate than most salad spots, which I really like! Staff and Lem, who runs the place, are super friendly as well! For the food!! I waited close to 30 minutes for my order when I was one of two people in the store. I try to be understanding as I've worked in the food industry and know they may have online orders, but people who are present should be served FIRST. The redhead working kept (loudly) asking her coworker obvious questions about what I ordered and what was supposed to be on it. I was preparing for it to be butchered. After halfway blending the base I watch her mill around looking at a screen and complaining. I begin to think she's forgotten I'm there. Not to mention the guy just staring into outer space. This is a quaint little spot Tucktaway in the corner by the Big Tex Flats facing the river it's a cool little place with smoothies wraps acai salads and of course a variety of different salads on the smoothies and the salads I know you can build your own I'm sure that goes for just about everything on their menu but they do also have salads already on their menu we got the south west jerk chicken salad and the Tex-Mex beef salad that one was really good they had a really good flavor I just don't recommend the arugula on the Tex-mex I recommend you switch it out for either a spring mix or Romain because the arugula is a little harsh if you're not a fan of arugula the southwest jerk chicken salad is amazing and I believe it comes with a chipotle ranch that's a definite must try read more

Quick service, friendly workers, and great salads! We got the Grilled Gem Lettuce and Grilled Salmon Summer Salad. Lots of flavor and lots of fun. The veggies were all crisp and fresh. I loved all the mushrooms on the grilled green salad. And the summer salad is my bf's favorite. Even though I didn't get it this time, I do like that they have a tofu option, that can be replaced as a protein on any of their salads. We also tried their flavored tea and lemonade. They weren't overly sweet and had a nice flavor. Dedicated salad places are nice and I'm looking forward to coming back here. I had Salmon Salad and was great, service was great but I do have one complaint. I will never come here again on merely principle. I asked the person behind the counter for extra Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing (small cup size) and she said it would be .25 cents...really. I do not carry change and was not going to swipe my card again for the amount. Ridiculous, hence the reason I will never come eat here again regardless of how great the salad was, it was the principle of the matter and I had left a very decent tip when I paid for the meal. We got our açai bowl's that were also decent and left. We all ordered either fruit or açai bowls. The gentleman taken our order did not seem happy that we all walked in after ordering a couple of bowls he let me know it would be a wait for açai, which was fine, but he still seemed upset that I was willing to wait once we got our bowls they were so empty not even filled to the top with açai nor fruit or granola wish we had more in our area. I would've never went back a second time, but after the second time, I will not be back ever again, hopefully he wasn't the owner and just a worker because he absolutely seemed bothered that he had to work or maybe it was just our skin tone. Amazing place. I've lived across from it for a year and finally went. The food is great quality, and drink options are amazing. The Lavender Lemon tea with agave is great. The build your own wrap is more like a burrito than a wrap, great size quality. My only advice on this location is, opening earlier for the morning workout people, change the music to more cafe' than r&b or rap, change the tv screens to more local news, sports AND although the price for the food quality is great, maybe change the pricing for protein down by $3, and not charge for every extra additional item per group.
