TLDR: Poor and unprofessional delivery service, but the fresh drinks taste great! I've ordered both online & in store (dragon fruit bowl). This review gives 2 stars for the delivery service. I've purchased $90 worth of fresh juice + bottled pressed juice delivered to a residential address. The bag of drink was dropped off without any ice packs in around 105 F degree weather under the sun. I had expected better customer service for a bulk order of fresh perishables! Otherwise the drinks are delicious!

Absolutely LOVE ROOTS JUICE. BAR. It's not only so yummy and delicious but it's healthy! They make all the drinks fresh to order. And the staff at this location is always so amazing and helpful in suggesting. Items to add or swap in your drink of choice. Also very friendly and outgoing people. I highly recommend

Juice was good. We would come back for that and to try açaí bowls, which look great. But.... ...the staff doesn't put their masks on correctly and wasn't telling customers to do so either. We spotted on employee wearing her mask down, under her mouth and talking within 2 feet of customers... some of which did not have their masks on their mouths either. Gross. Such a simple thing. Put your mask over your mouth and nose... save lives and keep your germs to yourself.

Sooo good and refreshing! I have friends and coworkers that come here for smoothies and wraps so I had to give it a try. I ordered the Açaí Bowl with granola, banana, and almond butter. YUM! At first look I was worried there wasn't enough almond butter but it goes deeper down into the bowl than it appears. The açaí seems previously frozen but has amazing flavor. Overall it is a yummy, healthy, and filling lunch option.

Oh my gosh this is the best juice bar I have come across in a long time. Redding seemingly does not have many healthy options, but this is a saving grace for this town. The juices are incredible I got the hulk green juice which is actually filled with mostly organic produce had very green vegetables I am drinking it now and I feel amazing. The smoothies are rich creamy well-balanced and absolutely delicious. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Bathrooms are clean. I am so impressed, Two big thumbs up!

This place is great! I stopped in while on the road and needed some refreshment and sustenance and I am so happy did. As soon as you walk in you can smell the fresh juice scent and the place was sparkling clean. The staff was super friendly and helped me make a great choice. I had a turkey wrap on the sprouted grain tortilla (delicious) and a lemon ginger kombucha that was on tap and so so good. Then I had one of their green juices with a pineapple addition that was recommended. It all hit the spot perfectly and I was all juiced up as I got back on the road. Love the juices and the smoothies: spendy and worth it! I'd give them 5 stars for consistently delicious, fresh and healthy food if not for the face mask. I appreciate the clerk wearing a mask, but it doesn't do any good if its only covering her CHIN! Customer after customer (business is good!) I watch her lean her uncovered mouth and nose close to customers as she speaks to them. When it's my turn, I draw back as far as possible, and hold my breath. This disconnect between healthy food unhealthy actions isn't new. Landscapers often spray pesticides near cars in the drive up lane. I love the juice enough to hold my breath and try to avoid the landscapers next time, but the mask issue is a deal breaker. read more

I'm an avid smoothie drinker in the terms that I have at least one everyday (either home made or bought at smoothie bars). This place is average on the smoothie scale. As a late night option we ordered Bahama Mama & The Popeye. My sig other liked the Bahama Mama but my Popeye was missing the parsley and ginger flavors. Honestly I don't think it was added, the smoothie ended up tasting like banana apple and no better than a sweet smoothie you would get at Jamba. Pros: the service was great, plus they are open late until 10pm. Overall nothing special just basic. read more

Great place to get a super healthy juice, The juice was great, we got the pre-done ones in the fridge. The main juicer was down for 5 min when we walked in but it was up and going again quickly. We always stop here when we're driving between Oregon and Oakland. It's the perfect traveling snack to beat all the unhealthy options. My favorite drink so far is the Very Blueberry, it has a nice cinnamon taste. Their spicy ginger shot is also amazing- I would like to see them add raw garlic to that magical medicine! read more

I absolutely love fresh juice, and Roots makes such delicious juices. It's nice to know you're nourishing your body with good stuff (especially yummy blends of fruits and veggies). My favorite juice: Beets N' Treats--I hate eating beets, but drinking them in this delicious juice combination that is sweet and tart and also includes ginger for a slight fiery edge. It's just perfect. My favorite smoothie: The Popeye--Again, yummy combination of spinach, banana, other goodness, and the ginger just gets me (in a good way). I do not like creamy smoothies, so these smoothies are so fresh and just what I crave sometimes! I once got this smoothie with "The Works" (which means there is granola, strawberries and bananas, coconut flakes, and some honey all piled on top of the smoothie), and it made a perfect breakfast. My one caveat is the prices are a bit steep (at least for what I usually try to spend eating out) so I usually have Roots as a once-in-awhile treat, but they are definitely delicious. read more

I went here and waited 30 minutes for my drink. Then they gave me the wrong one :/ that kind of ruined it considering its a treat for me that I usually dont get and it is spendy. It was good even though it wasnt what I wanted. I wanted to ask one of the the people working if they were high. Considering it wasnt even busy. They acted as if they'd forgotten about me. Stopped here for my first time the other day because I've been very curious about it. The gentlemen whom I talked to was very accomadating. I told him it was my first time and he explained the menu and gave me a punch card that had 9 stamps on it which your 10th one will be free for first time customers. I can remember what I ordered but it was some type of smoothie that had peanut butter, banana, etc. It was super good and I wish I would've got a larger size but I couldn't bring myself to pay $8-9 for a smoothie. That's why I gave this place 4 stars. I understand produce prices (organic) as I work around that for my job, so I do think they are over priced in that aspect. However, I'm excited to return and try other things off the menu. read more

This place is the coolest! I think I got the green mean, they said it was their best green juice and they weren't kidding! I've made juice at home and it's just not the same, they've got the magic touch! They even said if I didn't like it they would make me another juice FOR FREE! Then the cool guy at the register HOOKED ME UP! He gave me a stamp card with 9 stamps that's almost a FREE JUICE ALREADY!!! They just spoil me every time I go. There is no better food! If you're looking for healthy and fresh and an accommodating staff, this is the place to go and they even have a drive-through. I keep going back and back. I have to be on a gluten-free diet. They hand make their tortillas. Yum. I know a thing or two about the owners and this place mirrors their lovely personas can't wait to go back. read more

I'm an employee here and have never loved a job so much. You just have to come in and try us out to know what it's all about :) great place for breakfast or lunch, lovely staff, and good environment to hang out in.
