Straight rip off. Not just they charged us a lot, they didn't finish the job right. They needed to cut our sprinkler pipe to do their job, but they didn't reconnect it after. They just filled the hole and left with a pile of trash they made. Since we didn't know they just covered cut pipe under dirt, we kept watering plants. One day, my husband found a gooey muddy patch and dug around the area. There it was. If they want to charge that much, they should complete their job and clean their mess at least. read more

Lonnie, who owns & operates the business, is a real nice guy. I called them out for what I thought was a slow sewer line, due to roots growing back in. We had roots growing into the main sewer line about a year ago, so I figured it was the same thing. They showed up about an hour late (minus one star), but he was kind enough to abide by my request to call me just before he left for my place, as I work only 5 minutes away. So, I really didn't have any unnecessary downtime. The problem? Well, there were no roots in the sewer. Turns out that the slow drain was just a motherload of hair in the bath tub drain, which I could have pulled out myself... lol. I felt like an idiot. But, he charged me a fair price for his visit, $45. He could have tried to gouge me, as some others have. All in all, I'd call this guy back!! These guys are great! We found out that Camarillo houses don't come with a "Clean Out" so these guys installed one, hydro'd our pipes and added a outdoor wash sink with extra plumbing a hose on our side yard. Friendly, efficient and reasonable. Keeping them on speed dial for sure! read more

I called Rooter Time because they were highly recommended by some people in our community. We we're having issues with our shower, so I called Lonnie and he told me he would come by in one hour to look into our problem. To my surprise, he showed up right on time (most plumbers I have dealt with are always late, so I just expect it now) and was very friendly when I answered the door. They made sure their shoes were clean before stepping into the house, and proceeded to look into the problem. After about 15 minutes Lonnie came to me and told me the problem was fixed. I walked into the shower and tested it out, and sure enough it was fixed. He charged me a very good price (so much so I was pleasantly surprised) and told me if there was anything else I should just call him to come back. I would not hesitate to call Rooter Time again, as a matter of fact I will be calling them for a large project we have coming up. Our toilets were clogged, which lead to leaking. We called Rooter Time Plumbing, they made time in their already busy schedule for us. They came in the time they estimated. They were very professional, and did amazing work. They fixed the problem and replaced a few parts. For all the work they did plus new parts I was worried it was going to cost an arm and a leg, but my bill was very affordable. I would highly recommend this plumbing business. I purchased a water heater from Lonnie in May 2013 and have had nothing but trouble since. The pilot light kept going out and I called on so many, many occasions to have it re-lit. I started calling the gas company to re-light it and they did. The gas man said the pilot assembly needed to be replaced and I told him Lonnie replaced it and charged me $195.00 on July 29, 2016. He said that should have been covered under the water heater warranty. Anyway the gas company replaced it two weeks ago and I had to pay again. Then he mentioned that the plate on the front of the water heater was missing and I said that I had wondered if Lonnie had installed a used water heater and charged me $1466.50 on May 30, 2013. I am giving Rooter Time one star for their lack of timeliness and poor business practices. I had them fix a leak on my water heater and was not given a receipt/invoice for the work done. I scheduled an install for a water heater later in the week and didn't come at the agreed time. I called and he said it would be a half hour. Still a no show so I called again and he said it would be another hour. At the end of that time I said I was canceling. He pleaded not to so he arrived 15 minutes later. At the end of the water heater install he said he would e mail me the receipt. After a few days no invoice/receipt. I texted the owner and he said when you hire relatives they aren't always reliable. During the next week still no e mail. I sent another text and gave him an address to send a hard copy to me. A week has passed and still nothing. I would definitely not use Rooter Time in the future. read more

Actually if I could give them no stars it would be more accurate... Several years ago, I used this company and they were great... 75$ to unclog my drains, recently I again called Lonnie .... Several times... Made an appointment, 2 hours past the appt time, I called, he had forgotten about the appt, he came out and unclogged my drains... Exactly as last time... 150$ 100% increase, I asked for a receipt , he said he didn't have his paperwork... I called 3 times and asked for the receipt..., to this day, still no receipt... I feel I was gouged, and while Lonnie is an affable fellow, his professionalism suffered greatly, I will no longer recommend this company... Ever! My elderly mom requested for alot of work to be done at her home. Lonnie, the owner, shows up late. Missed an appointment and didn't call. Finally he shows up with his little guy in tow, and didn't do a thing himself. The chaulking done by his helper looks pathetic! Lonnie is a big guy and he saunters in and tells my 80 year mom that the work would cost around $700. He didn't write the estimate and his bill looks like gibberish. He asked to use the bathroom a couple of times and slammed the toilet seat! This guy has no manners and is a joke. The job cost her $950 and the job wasn't complete. His helper tried to have my mom let him complete the job a couple of weeks later at a cheaper price!!! Beware of his bogus ads and if you're elderly....WATCH OUT!!!! read more

I had some work done by another plumber on my toilet , which was not done correctly and I am still trying to get my money back from them, but my contractor was over and saw there was some other plumbing that needed to be done, so my contractor called Rooter Time Plumbing, Lonnie and Felix arrived within a half an hour of the call from my contractor which was very impressive. Not only did Lonnie and Felix fix the plumbing problem that occurred from the plumber, but also looked at my toilet which I had paid the other plumber for. Lonnie detached the toilet and checked it thoroughly and told me what was going on. I was very impressed with the knowledge and the customer service that I received from Lonnie and Felix they gave me enough information that I was able to go to the other plumber and tell them what was wrong, and ask for my money back. Lonnie is a jerk on the road. Cutting people off in his Rooter Time truck, flipping them off, dangerous driving, etc. He almost ran me off the road twice today and flipped me off each time as though he did not care. I called the number on the back of his truck to report this behavior (not realizing at the time its a one man operation) and, while he was still driving and sticking his middle finger out the window at me he called me back saying he was sorry he missed my call but he was with a customer...guess he couldnt put two and two together.
