Second time using Rooter Man for a clogged drain. Scheduling was easy, they arrived on time, and the clogged drain was fixed very quickly. Unfortunately, the experience felt quite unprofessional. The plumber didn't cover his shoes and walked upstairs on our carpet with work boots. He also complained about our drainpipe and shower design, suggesting very expensive replacements that are absolutely not necessary, especially since our bathroom was remodeled just a few years ago. Overall, he seemed very annoyed it was a quick, small job . Because of that, we won't use this service again. read more

They advertise $49 to unclog a drain as long as it has cleanout access. I told plumber Ralph that he could use the knockout outside OR could go in from under sink which would be easier. He chose the easier route and the job couldn't have been easier. Then he told me the price would be $129 instead of $49 as advertised AND as quoted to me. I refused to pay the inflated amount, and ultimately the company honored the $49 price, but I feel like every plumber is a con man who tries to bully customers into paying more. read more

Even though I had a bad experience with their customer service team at first, I was glad that GUSTAVO came to our house to look at the problem that we have. He was very polite in explaining to us the work that needed to be done. Plumbing issues are expensive no matter what but he and his team got the job done. They had to descale the pipes and push out all the debris in the pipeline, he even showed us through a camera the inside of the pipes that were cleaned. They were respectful, organized and kept the mess at minimal. Thank you so much for helping us get our pipes cleaned. It will be a good thing not to see u guys again, but its in a very good way!!! So I normally dont do reviews unless I see something above and beyond. Customer service is really the make or break for all service companies now as prices increase across the board in all industries. I have to say that while my plumbing issue at my house was costly and extensive, Daniel and Gustavo and there crew worked hard, extremely respectful and very clean. Plumping can get expensive and complicated no matter who you choose and thats why you go for customer service and people that work there butts off for the customer. In the end of my major plumping issue ( main line pipe burst and descale and rejuvenation) it was not cheap, if your looking for cheap plumping your gonna get cheap work they actually worked with me on the price to get the job done right, these men where professional, thats what stood out to me. I would ask for Gustavo if possible, his crew was great. Daniel was his supervisor, right way I could tell he was military, straight shooter all the way, no up sells no issues just did the work and completed exactly on time. In an industry that is plagued with issues about cost, time frames and workmen-ship my crew delivered. I hope this review finds its way to a corporate level so they can be made an example of professionalism within your company. Im a local firefighter and very familiar with most trades ( obviously this was not a project to do myself, to complex) so take my advice as I have some experience. First the good. They were very responsive to my request for a main line clog and were out within the hour. However, the plumber told me he was "unable" to clean the clog because of an obstruction and that he'd come the next morning with a camera to figure out why. I was told I had a collapsed pipe and that there was a complete blockage to the city line. I was also quoted to de-scale my house lines. The total for both was close to $12k. I declined and had an honest plumber easily clear the blockage that Rooter Man was unable to do along with videoing my lines to confirm that I did NOT have a collapsed pipe (which according to Rooter Man, had to be done otherwise all my sewage would backup right into my house) and that my house drains were all within acceptable limits. Having them come out was a complete waste of time. Lesson learned. Do not call the discount place. They're looking for the big repairs, whether it needs it or not. read more

I will start by saying that Fernando was good, he actually tried to solve the sewer blockage. But then his Supervisor came with a camera and he is a real scammer. He put the camera into the dirty, muddy pipe - of course he couldn't see anything! He went around with a pipe detector and claimed that the gas pipe was the sewage pipe. My Dad who is a civil engineer, lived in the house for 30 years and knows how everything works, clearly showed where the actual pipe was (and he has photos to prove it). But the Supervisor didn't listed. Then this Supervisor said that the whole clean out was built wrong, backwards. The house was built in 1973, 52 years ago. And last week was the first time the sewer got blocked. This Supervisor said that they had to dig everything up and completely replace the clean out, for 3250 dollars! We are not stupid so we sent them home and called another plumber the next day. They had no problem clearing out the sewage and everything is working just fine! For less than 200 dollar. If you are reading this, make sure no Supervisor ever comes near your house! read more

When I asked if there were any discounts for such an expensive charge they told me that was a discount. After talking with my spouse they said they could do it for $6,800. The rep starts asking me for all the same info I just filled out online. I ask why and she says they have to get more info that wasn't online--and she proceeds to ask me for the same info I filled out. Red flag starting to rise. Then she quotes me $189 for the cleaning. I tell her no, that's not correct. It's $49 for first time customers. She says there is an additional charge if after 5:00. Even though the first appointment showing was at 5:00. Seems VERY SUSPICIOUS that all the online appointments were at 5:00 or later. Red flag fully raised. I canceled the appointment.
