Normally, I leave yoga classes at other studios wishing it was hotter or more humid. I finally got my wish at Go Yoga Kirkland and was humbled and challenged in all the right ways. A very nice bonus is Jamie seemed to always know the perfect times to let cool air into the room. I walked away from my class feeling stronger and incredibly satisfied. If you haven't been here yet, they offer an incredibly generous $7 for your first week (7 classes). You won't find an introduction package this good anywhere else. This is a special spot and one of the best is the greater Seattle area!

The front desk area is welcoming and warm. I was greeted kindly and check-in was super simple. The space is so relaxing, open, and just has a great energy. They were also able to do a very soft lighting to keep the mood calm but also make it easy if people needed to see. Parking was also pretty easy. Two small things to note. First is that they do not have any props to borrow. I forgot a pillow and ended up just rolling up my sweatshirt. Totally fine, just something to note- definitely make sure you bring what you need. Second- the bathroom is connected to the studio in a way that you can hear people using it during practice. This is a little annoying and awkward for the person going, but I understand there is not a good way to remedy this.

Not only are the workouts challenging and dynamic, I find myself experiencing an exponential boost in confidence and competence regarding mobility, breath, and functional strength. Prior to Barre3, I was unable to successfully use my postural muscles effectively, due to long term injury. After 6 months of Barre3 workouts, my chiropractor recently shared that my posture is improving greatly! BARRE 3 @ KIRKLAND…read more First timer here using Class Pass! I really recommend it if you haven't heard of the concept, where you can try multiple studios for the same price! I saw this location super close to Downtown Kirkland and had to try it out! Parking was available for street, there are free two hour options or you can park at the Library. I decided to take Signature 45 with Bo, had no idea what I was getting myself into, I was just excited to get into the class. Bo was FANTASTIC, amazing instructor and so funny! He pulled out the funniest jokes and I really loved his attitude, he also would go to certain people and help their structure and position more better, I really enjoyed this just to help you learn better. The owner was kind as well. The place itself was a bit small, it was just one class, one studio at a time, bathroom is only one and there is not a shower there. Not too sure if I missed it. Overall, great class and they gave me a small "welcome" gift which was some energy mixer and about their membership.

The primary instructor, Mason, is really smart and comes up with very creative ways to engage and condition different physical skills and can even modify with precision for the particularly talented or particularly new/untrained. Socially, the classes are fun and I have noticed no clique-like nonsense whatsoever, which is rumored to be an issue at other locations that are directly involved or dabble in AcroYoga. It's a shame to read about these other instances where there's been such a strongly negative interaction on the business side of things but hopefully that's on the mend.

Since their website address leads to a broken link I reached out on facebook messenger. I used one of Facebooks canned responses to ask 'Do you have any promotions?' and the response was 'Never. I find that kind of model disgusting'. Didn't know asking if they have a promos was such a negative question and I asked them to elaborate, but have not gotten a response. When I moved to Washington, I was so nervous about finding a new yoga teacher. I was in Vancouver, WA when I finally found a teacher who seemed to do vinyasa yoga. He told me to go up north and there I found Shilpa! She's a spectacular teacher. Patient, kind, grounding, and motivating I am grateful to practice with her on Sunday mornings. When the pandemic began, Shilpa moved her classes to virtual, Zoom live classes. I need these to make sure I do my practice! Otherwise I would not commit one hour to my practice every week. The way she structures her classess incorporate meditation, asanas, strength, stamina, and flexibility. It's also convenient for my partner to do the class with me at home. I highly recommend her classes and I hope you find time to join her.

I booked the class through ClassPass, and the preparation instructions were clear that the class start timing is strict, so be prepared to find parking and give time to put belongings away and secure a spot in the studio!

I have called multiple times and sent several emails with zero response. No one picks up the phone, no one replies, and my messages are completely ignored. To make matters worse, their website offers no way to remove your payment information, leaving you with no self-service option to stop the charges yourself. If you are considering joining this studio, think very carefully before entering your credit card information. Cancelling your membership does not appear to stop them from charging you -- and getting any response from management seems nearly impossible.

I can imagine it may get a bit crowded at popular days/times but was super convenient to navigate and find a place to park the stroller, then nurse my kiddo when I needed to. It feels like they've put a lot of consideration into what parents want/need from a place like this. I appreciate the variety of pricing options, from memberships to punch cards to single passes, especially since it's hard to predict our schedule these days. Insert the Heybrook!... we were thrilled to have found the Clubhouse time and loved that we could come and go as worked for our schedule. We're excited to check out some classes soon, too. The Heybrook is aesthetically beautiful, fun and safe for littles - and bonus that they have several toys we don't have at home! - they have coffee and good company for parents, and ample opportunity for young ones to socialize with each other.
