It isn't like typical gyms, it feels more like a gym-resort-wellness center. It has high ceiling and ventilation is great. It can get smelly if it's super busy but that's why I go in the morning. I also like how everyone just focuses on themselves and no one is judging or being "weird." It's like everyone working out on their own pace and no judgement. I also had no experiences of going to the gym. It feels daunting initially because there's so many machines and it's overwhelming, which is why I particularly wanted to get a personal trainer and I love mine. Ainura is wonderful, she remembers the body goals im after and she helps me with a workout plan that will help me. You can see photos of my 3 month progress as proof. I've also had to visit out of state gyms due to work and I can safely say... pro club still the best. Love the staffs, environment, aura, and my trainer. LASTLY, I know it's on the higher end compared to other gyms but the amenities make it up. For example, free classes of Pilates, yoga, Zumba, etc. Going to miss Pro club for the next 2 weeks since I'm traveling :(

But only for us. The minute I picked up a paddle, I realized I was royalty and that Bay Club understands true elite status. My every minor whim is their command. I casually mention the "squeaky old basketball courts" are a bit archaic and inefficient for our gentlemanly strategy? Poof!--they literally roll a glorious slab of semi-permanent, cushioned vinyl right over that outdated, varnished hardwood. It's absolutely chef's kiss. They paved over the past, and I got more nets! The acoustic-deadening luxury is unparalleled. Who needs to see wood grain when you can have industrial-grade linoleum that silences the ghosts of whatever irrelevant sport used to be played here? This is what peak performance looks like: endless courts, endless tournaments, endless "Zero-Zero-Two!" shouts echoing through the hall. We don't need to sweat like animals; we dominate from a neat 10-foot box with true finesse. And to those disgruntled, archaic hoop-heads lingering in the corners? Please, evaporate. Your sport is a relic, a shambling corpse, and the NBA is literally a joke propped up by shoe commercials and social media drama. The refs couldn't spot a travel if a player packed a suitcase, booked a direct flight out of Sea-Tac, and walked through TSA with the ball tucked under their arm. Did they take three steps? Four? A gather-step? Just carry the ball like a running back, nobody cares anymore! There are no rules, just chaos and unnecessary, vulgar sweating. Seriously, the puddles of "hard work" they leave are a public health hazard. Disgusting. The old days are gone, Grandpa. I hear other people complaining about cleaning staffs being cut? Or the weight room looking like a monochrome hospital ward? As if that matters. I'm too focused on my next dink to notice dust, and who lifts weights when you can master gentlemanly strategy? Thank you, Bay Club, for finally prioritizing true culture and paving the way to the future. Keep the vinyl coming! See you all in the kitchen! I love that in 1 hour, I get an amazing workout of both cardio and strength training. It's so efficient and it's all coach led so I don't have to think about what to do next. I really like how every workout is different (hard to get bored!) and each time I go, what I do for the cardio side compliments what I do in the strength portion of things. I know I've gotten considerably stronger, healthier and happier since I've been going to OTF again regularly. I am not a skinny-minny but I definitely feel much more confident in my body because of my workouts Plus, it's a fun community where I've made friends and found support in my health journey. They always do a free trial so always worth a try! Plus there's Orange Theory studios in most places so when I'm traveling, I've been able to pop into other locations fairly easily and know what's going on during the workouts.

The only feedback I have here is that, compared to the studios I used to visit in Florida, the studios here don't have some toiletries in the shower/washroom(for example, lotion, dry shampoo, etc). Also I have definitely experienced in some studios that the coaches encourage you constantly and they help you with your posture regularly. I don't see this in Washington state studios. I would recommend this studio!!

I did not feel confident just going to the gym and trying to figure stuff out on my own. Alina is an awesome trainer. She completely understood where I was coming from, what my goals and fears were and was able to suggest adaptation to exercises and some new equipment that I had never even heard about. She is an educated, knowledgeable and experienced trainer and an awesome person all around. I really appreciated that she was able to explain what we were doing and why, short term and long term. I was impressed by how well she was able to judge my abilities (she was better at it than me!) and how attentive she was during our training. I could relax and exercise without any anxiety. I have to say that it was really impressive how she was able to give me just the right amount and type of encouragement and support I needed. All of these things led me to enjoy my gym time even more. It's been over a year now, and my results are great! I am so much stronger and capable now, with better stamina, and have more self confidence. I am seeing some body recomposition happening and I couldn't be happier. My mental health has improved a lot and now going to the gym is the highlight of my week. I'm pretty sure I gained a friend in Alina, along with all those other things, which is beyond awesome. I was incredibly lucky to have found Alina when I had. I'm very sorry to see her leave this area, but I am confident that she gave me a solid foundation for my fitness journey, and that I will be able to continue to build on it throughout the years. Lifting weights and committing to exercising three days a week has changed my life. I wouldn't have been able to do this without the wonderful staff of trainers at Kutting Edge Fitness. Prior to joining, I had a difficult time carrying bags of gardening soil, relying on my husband to do all the heavy lifting around the house. I was what you called, "skinny fat". My weekly Pilates classes weren't getting the job done. My growing children were proof that if I didn't make a change, I was going to be left behind. Today, I'm strong. Both physically and mentally. I credit my success to Cory, Alex, and Sam. They give me confidence to try new things and push me to do more, safely. (Although Sam is no longer a trainer at the gym, I still hear his positive affirmations.) Hannah recently joined and is a solid addition to the team. Each trainer has their own unique style to help you do your best. However, it's up to YOU to put in the effort. If you're looking to feel your best at whatever age you are I highly recommend Kutting Edge Fitness. Come learn new things. Change will come!     I started attending Kutting Edge during COVID times when most other gyms were either closed or I…read morejust didn't feel comfortable. I loved their "group" personal training approach. It feels like the best of both worlds. You get personal training and are in a gym environment. So here is a little how it works... There are a max of 4 people per 60 min session and everyone has their own marked off space with their own equipment. So no sharing, no close contact, none of that. You get your own specific personal workout that the (masked) trainer gives you in increments at a time, so if you have the attention span of a hummingbird you'll be ok because you only need to remember like 3 things at once. Everything is sanitized and they have a 30 min gap between sessions, so once again...minimal contact, maximum safeness. I am super impressed with the workouts, the new Redmond facility and the way they track and challenge me every time. They have a few different plans to choose from depending how often you want to attend. They also have group zoom sessions which are great to do from home. It's definitely not the cheapest workout option, but you get way you pay for and considering it is essentially personal training it's a pretty good deal. They also work really well with injuries and limitations, so that's refreshing. I would definitely recommend to pretty much anyone wanting to workout as they cater to all ages/shapes/fitness goals/experience so it's not a one size fits all approach. They are also into the whole golf TPI thing, so if you golf that can be helpful.
