Pool over capacity

Update. The Pro Club is being sold to the Bay Club of California. They are trying to up their game by enforcing certain policies but still waaay bad compared to the Pro Club of decades ago. They closed the pools for two weeks to install new UV filters, which were much needed. The pools usually get closed at least once daily because of feces in the pool. Last week a fully clothed woman entering a hot tub in the women's locker room without rinsing after working out. Gross! They used to have excellent services, top notch hygiene, really good food in the bistro. It all slid downhill now that the owners are retiring and selling the place.

Love pro club bellevue. Most staff here are super friendly and helpful! My personal trainer is very nice and professional. they have swimming pools, locker rooms of different types, hot tub, saunas.. they also have spa service, auto spa service, medical spa, 20/20 weight management, physical therapy.. And perfect for family with children! They have great children area, camps and activities.

Enjoying an after workout recovery shake from the cafe, in the lounge.

I'm saddened to say that the Pro Club I knew and LOVED for over 20yrs is no longer that. Since the new mgmt came in, things have progressively worse, from top to bottom. This is NOT what I've been accustomed to throughout my time as member, and as a result we have taken our business elsewhere.

Gym under complete construction with no additional benefits or reduction in rates

Since the Club was taken over by private equity, it's now become a complete disaster. Management is only concerned about signing up as many members as possible without any material expansion or improvements. This means it is impossible to sign up for any class (Fit Lab is chronically full), get a tennis lesson, get a Pilates session, massage or even decent parking. I pay something like $275 a month and just learned that this is now Microsoft's gym where any employee can join ProClub and pay $30 a month. In the summer, this place is now essentially Microsoft's daycare center with tons of summer camps and loaded with children in every single common area. The gym is also currently UNDER CONSTRUCTION - see photos - disrupting whatever workout was possible. They also have eliminated all of the great amenities you get when signing up and paying at least a $150 initiation fee

Dated workout space lots of stairs, never encountered so many stairs in a health club. If you're older it can be burdensome.

I was looking for a local studio to try aerial yoga with a friend. I saw the previous yelp reviews…read moreof customers having a bad experience with someone from the studio, but I thought it may have been a one off event and wanted to give them a try. Since their website address leads to a broken link I reached out on facebook messenger. I used one of Facebooks canned responses to ask 'Do you have any promotions?' and the response was 'Never. I find that kind of model disgusting'. Didn't know asking if they have a promos was such a negative question and I asked them to elaborate, but have not gotten a response. I'm still trying to figure out why my questions was so bad? (Attached screenshot)

Wow, my abs have not been this sore in a while! I had heard about Knotty Yoga through the aerial…read moregrapevine and decided to give it a chance when one of Meetup groups planned a meetup here. I took the intro class that was specially priced at $19. For an hour and a half, it was an incredible deal that I could not pass up...and it was more than worth it! There were about 18+ people in the class and we started with a warm up on the silks. Afterwards, we watched Mason and 2 other instructors demo on the rope, silks, and lyra respectively. We then learned a few things on the silks and did a quick stretch of the upper body. The verdict? The warmup is NOT a beginner warmup. There's lots of balancing of the upper body on the arms or forearms while the legs are held up by the silk apparatus. As the body is balancing, it is moving forwards, backwards, and twisting side to side. For me, the warmup was great and challenging, but I could see it being difficult for a beginner. Vivian was the instructor on the silks. I found her explanations and demonstrations thorough as I had previously learned one of the tricks at another studio but had not understood it fully until Vivian explained it another way. We were learning how to climb the silks and even though there was heavy emphasis on the use of the legs, I didn't hear any guidance about relieving any tightness in the forearms or the hands during the instruction. And in the cool down/stretching, there was no focus on these parts of the body at all. For the cool down, we paired up and all we did was twist the upper body while pulling on each others arms. Time was up but I wished that there would have been more time for more thorough stretching. Now I realize that there were a lot of people in the class and it was an intro class so I am probably calling out personal particulars, but I was really impressed with the overall vibe of the studio. I like their whole hybrid exercise modality idea. The instruction was awesome. The studio is a great space and I am especially looking forward to taking future classes in trapeze and lyra. Lastly, I find the pricing options a great value.

I used my free class coupon that I received from Pro Club today…read more I have been looking for a new crossfit box since I moved here from Maryland. I really liked this location for several reasons. 1) Facilities were pretty spacious- had all the necessary equipment and they had a wide open entrance for good airflow 2) The instructor (Mac) was very good. He made sure to go over all the movements and made sure to check in with me several times to make sure I was doing okay. 3) I liked how they started off with a good warm up. I've seen places jump pretty quickly into the workout. 4) I liked the workout rehearsal idea. You do low # of reps of the actual workout you are doing so you can get an idea of the flow. 5) If you are a proclub member, you get a 20% discount off membership here. The only constructive feedback I have is that I wish at least 1-2 of the pull up bars were a little lower. I can reach them by jumping but wish I didn't have to jump as high (when you are really tired in the middle of the workout, these little things matter). I also am used to having an endurance workout option at my old crossfit gym so that is something I am going to miss. I prefer crossfit workouts without all the olympic movements sometimes (i.e. workouts that focus on cardio (rowing, running, assault bike), dumbbell movements, wallballs, push ups, pull ups, sit ups, GHD stuff, jump rope)
