Afterwards, that entire muscle group was released and I was moving much more freely. The following morning I was moving at almost 100%. Instead of just focusing on the lower right side where the cramping was, she worked on both sides of my upper and lower back. Also, she discussed, during the massage, where I was favoring one side during weight training, which helped me modify my training plan. She is very strong (she could be a rolfer) and is able get down deep. I plan on going regularly. The actual massage session was 5-star for me, which offset logistical issues. Her online appointment booking system doesn't work well (better to call/message her to schedule). Also, her fee structure is odd: she charges $80 per hour but expects a $20 tip - would be better if she just set her price at $100. In spite of this, I highly recommend her.

I've been dealing with neck, shoulder and upper back muscles tightness issues for a while now. After she gave me a good deep massage therapy, it made a great difference. I wouldn't say it completely healed and solved my problems, but none the less, she was able to release a good amount of tension and tightness that I've developed. A great start! I would say 3 to 4 more visits will definitely make all the difference for myself or anyone else. Thank you very much Yan Yan, it was a pleasure. I plan on coming back again soon.

The interior of i Spa stands out. Unlike many massage places that can feel basic, this one has a unique charm. The room I was in had a ceiling lit up like a starry sky, and the sliding doors were draped, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. I opted for the 60-minute Swedish massage. Though I didn't get my therapist's name, she had excellent technique and pressure. The whole experience left me feeling rejuvenated. The manager deserves a mention too. I had some unexpected free time, called them up last minute, and they were able to fit me ino. The staff was welcoming and professional from start to finish. I'd certainly recommend i Spa to anyone looking for a quality massage experience.

By far the worst experience I've had. I usually don't write reviews unless I have to because I just…read moredon't have time for it. Hear me out. I made a couple of calls around the area for a last-minute massage and I Spa was the only place with availability. So I went and was greeted by this lady (doesn't speak English very well) who walked me into a room. It looked like no one else was there (now I see why). She showed me a bottle of oil and asked if this was OK. I asked her what that was and she said, "essential oil -- OK?" (Don't they all use oil for massages???) So I said yeah, that was fine. Later I found out that this "essential oil" was an extra $15 (wtf). Then she offered me hot stone (of course she didn't mention this but this was also for an additional fee). I wasn't sure why she was asking at first, so I just said no thanks. Anyway, the moment she lays her hands on me for the massage, I was able to tell that she did not have much strength. I am 5'4 and 98lbs -- you don't need to be a macho man to give me a good massage. I really wanted to walk out or tell her that I wanted to make this a shorter massage, but decided to give her a chance and asked her for more pressure. Since the request, she used her elbows for about 70% of the time. Sigh. I really wanted to leave but this lady was trying and I didn't want to be rude or hurt her feelings. I just stayed through the pain (big mistake). When it was time for me to pay, she explained that the oil was an additional charge and pointed at the rate sheet. First of all, you shouldn't offer services without explaining or getting confirmation from the customer that an additional fee is acceptable. I don't think even think using oil is considered "extra" service but whatever. I looked through the chart and saw that the hot stone was also for an additional fee (WTF). That explains why she kept offering me additional shit when I specifically told her that I was just there for a deep tissue massage. I felt scammed. Their rates were about $30 higher than other places I've been to but I would have been OK if the massage was good. NOT WORTH IT. I didn't even want to tip her but still gave the poor lady $5 for trying. Once she saw that I didn't tip her much, it obviously showed on her face and she did not even thank me or say bye. RUDE. I hope the manager or the owner sees this review because you seriously need to retrain yourselves.

After my 3rd treatment, I got hit with major vertigo and had to have my husband pick me up. Kathleen said she would check in on me later. Her way of checking in on me was to email me a one-line message asking how I was faring. She never called me and never gave me her direct phone number. I responded that I was not well and she didn't respond until another day had passed and only responded after I sent her another email letting her know I was upset at her lack of concern. She claimed she was doing research before responding to me! Most Practitioners would show more empathy and never leave the patient hanging like that. In her email response, she proceeded to try to blame the vertigo on me, stating that running has been linked to vertigo and told me I should stop running for a month!! I have been a runner my entire life and never had problems with vertigo. It was her treatment that caused the vertigo! She informed me in her email that she was trying to move crystals in my ear, which she never told me she was doing. I would not recommend Kathleen if you want a Practitioner you can trust.
