I was knew to cupping therapy and I am super glad I came here to try it. It could seem painful but actually it is very calming. You will leave with marks but they will fade away fast depending on the amount of tension or spasms you previously had. I noticed true changes on my posture after it because my muscles used to be tight. Stephanie is really good at this therapies. She knows well muscles and can recommend the right therapy for you. Super patient and good listener to the amount of pressure and location of pain. She really invests time so you can feel better and happier. Kristina was great! I was really surprised and pleased that I never had to ask her to increase the pressure (most people I see never get deep enough.) I had a much needed massage with Stephanie today. I hadn't had a massage in a couple of months due to a blood clot in my leg. Recently returning to the crossfit gym after 6 weeks of no exercise (due to the blood clot) my body was very sore and tight. Stephanie asked the right questions about my pain levels, areas of concern and was very knowledgeable about how to massage a person with a blood clot. The peppermint foot scrub to start the massage along with nice sooothing music, a heated bed yet cool room and the right pressure and stretching to work through the sore and tight muscles. 90 minutes later I was feeling much less tightness and pain and was very relaxed. I cannot recommend Stephanie enough. I have a handful of old sports injuries that flare up from time to time. My knee has been giving me some trouble lately (swelling and stiffness), along with with some pretty intense pain in my shoulder. I booked an appointment with Steph per a couple recommendations from some friends. She was prompt in responding and getting me an appointment, which meant the world given the pain I was dealing with. Her work space is serene and calming. I was greeted with a cool drink, chill music, and a comfy chair for a consultation. Stephanie was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. As I explained what was going on, she instantly knew which muscles were giving trouble and told me what she thought would help. I had an hour long massage and it was exactly what I needed. Steph is a great communicator. During my massage, she told me what she observed with my trouble spots and suggested techniques/pressures that would help. When the massage was over, Steph walked me through several stretches that would help me in the coming days. Another thing - I've had "sports injury" massages before, and they are not always relaxing. I walked out of Rx Relief feeling relief from my issues but also incredibly relaxed, which I did not expect. The next morning, I woke up and for the first time in a month, I did not have shoulder pain! Plain and simple, Stephanie knows what she is doing, and she does it remarkably well.
