I was lucky enough to have Jamie as my first instructor for Go Yoga Kirkland. I've never heard an instructor annunciate and project instructions as well as her. She was hyper aware of the entire class, giving targeted recommendations when needed, which tremendously helped me to improve my practice. Normally, I leave yoga classes at other studios wishing it was hotter or more humid. I finally got my wish at Go Yoga Kirkland and was humbled and challenged in all the right ways. A very nice bonus is Jamie seemed to always know the perfect times to let cool air into the room. I walked away from my class feeling stronger and incredibly satisfied. If you haven't been here yet, they offer an incredibly generous $7 for your first week (7 classes). You won't find an introduction package this good anywhere else. I've been coming to the Ashram Yoga studio for over a year and half now and always enjoy my experience. The studio is clean, simple, with nice wood floors, plenty of mirrors, and a distraction free environment. The room is heated to 100+ degrees for the hot yoga classes, which allows for maximum exertion and a really great workout! I was in town visiting and lucky enough to find this studio. I joined a Sunday 3p Power Yoga class with Claudia. Both the studio and Claudia's instruction were excellent. There were nice areas for men and women to change before and after the class. The space was roomy, and...hot! Claudia did a great job of leading our class with an encouraging and inclusive way for us all to get the most out of the session. Where do I start? Amazing instructors who have been exceptionally well trained and really know asanas. What I love above all at Ashram is the rigor with which it is taught. this studio is the real deal. No bs music playlists and yoga teachers obliviously having their own practice on their own mat. Expect precise instruction, close observation, individualized attention and excellent sequencing from serious teachers, along with attentiveness and focus from serious students. I was skeptical about the Sound Bath, but after the class, that night I slept for 11 hours without waking up once -- a rare treat. The sounds were intriguing and it was a really unique experience. Have grown up in the Kirkland area and was looking for a yoga studio as I haven't found one I really love. Went on Yelp and found GoYoga and figured I'll give it a try as they had a class Christmas Eve and given all the cookies I'd eaten it sounded like a much needed adventure. The studio is located right in downtown Kirkland with an open feel when you walk through the main doors. I was instantly greeted by several team members who welcomed me and made me feel right at home. Everyone was so friendly and made the first experience so comfortable. I took the Birkam (could be spelling it wrong) class with Alex and it was truly amazing! Came away feeling so relaxed, she was so kind and provided tips through the class but made everyone feel comfortable given their experience levels. After taking a very long break from yoga, (years!), I have just completed my first two classes back at it at GO Yoga Kirkland :) I tried the Power Yoga class and the Bikram class - both were so good! For me Yoga is such a wonderful way to really connect with my body. I found the Power class slightly more challenging, that may have been because I am familiar with Bikram and knew what to expect. Go Yoga in Kirkland has changed my life. Gary's power yoga has been such a welcomed gift during these stressful times. His teachings have eliminated my previous lower back pain, made my non-yoga workouts more powerful, given me a sense of mental clarity, and left me with an overall sense of well-being. My wife and two teenage children have been so impressed that they have gone to the studio with me. My seventeen-year-old daughter told me that she has never seen me so happy. She joined me in at Go Yoga this year and absolutely loves it. The environment is nonjudgmental and filled with friendly, positive energy. "My name is Shelley, and I love yoga. Hot yoga specifically. I have a friend and she travels all over the place teaching yoga. In the earlier part of her yoga career, she studied under Gary, to get her first 200 hr teacher training certification. During the pandemic, I stumbled upon their online classes. Wanting to venture out of my area, my friend recommended we try GO yoga, and Claudia was the instructor. Usually a prompt person as I'm picky about picking my spot in a yoga room, I had some trouble with parking and locating the studio only because I'd never been there, (it's right on the street, I have no idea how I went passed it the first time) I walked in 5 min to class beginning. Everyone was very warm and friendly, the lobby space is large and open. They have a nice selection of merchandise for purchase, including some jewelry. The room was H O T hot. As I mentioned I was late so I was right to the left of the heater. When class began, on time, which I think is important, I noticed around the 5 minute mark that there was no music. Normally I love a good playlist, but fully entranced in the excellent ques Claudia was giving, I didn't notice again. The class was fabulous. Her voice was evenly paced, and tranquil almost. Not loud or quiet, just right. You were not rushed through any of the poses, almost opposite in fact. You were there long enough to really FEEL the poses. I really enjoyed the class, it was challenging and thought provoking. I'll definitely be back when I am in the area again. I didn't see or use the restrooms so I have no feedback regarding that. I used to do hot yoga religiously and have been to my fair share of yoga studios. Took a class today at GOYoga with Gary and it was a pleasant surprise that this studio is a good, traditional, no nonsense yoga studio that still teaches the Bikram style. I easily registered online and booked my class for a $7 week pass. When I arrived I was greeted and shown around by the studio manager. The room was nice and hot and best of all QUIET. I started hot yoga back around 2010. A friend suggested I go and one class & I was hooked! I had been an athlete most of my life and I loved the challenge of a hot room. Gary and Claudia are the owners of Go Yoga and they were my teachers way back then when I began my hot yoga journey. Their classes are always challenging, safe & consistently what I need (body, mind and spirit). The instructors at Go Yoga are some of the best in the industry. In most studios, the instructor leads the class from their mat. I find it so beneficial that the instructors at Go Yoga walk around the class to help students when needed. They encourage and correct when needed. They can gauge the needs of individuals and needed intensity of each class based on what they are seeing. There are students that have attended for many years who are helpful to follow. There are many beginners as well in each class so it is always a mix. One thing I've always appreciated about yoga is that it is a safe space to practice. As a group, we are encouraged to practice at our own level without judgment. I have never been in better shape than when I attend regular yoga at Go Yoga. With our cold/damp weather, the hot room is so soothing and healing. I've also attended in the 90+ degree days in the summer months and I find weather so tolerable by regularly experiencing exertion in the hot room. Today was my 3rd day doing hot yoga at Go Yoga. This has been my first hot yoga experience. The facility is clean and comfortable, with two restrooms and changing rooms for men and women. I have had three different instructors, all of whom were great. Each one was friendly and caring about people's conditions. During my first session, I ended up leaving the room due to feeling faint. The instructor checked on me, which was appreciated. The instructors ask you to push yourself, but within your limits. I look forward to the next class. read more

I'm so happy to have such a great studio right in downtown Kirkland! I've been practicing hot yoga for over 25 years and while I know what to expect with most postures, the different instructors bring their own uniqueness and guidance through each pose, so it keeps it familiar, yet different and interesting. All the instructors are very good at this studio. Whether you are new to hot yoga or been doing it for decades, there are all levels at this studio and you go at your pace. You can position yourself in certain areas of the room that are more hot than other parts. Love the wood floors! (Who thought carpet was ever a good idea-like the 1st Bikram studio I went before so many years go-ew moist carpet-never again!). So Parking: there is plenty in the marina lot of you don't mind $1/hr but I have ALWAYS found free street up the hill or along the street anywhere from in front or maybe within 3 blocks. read more
