This Nordstrom was also located in the same plaza as Boot Barn and Handel's Handmade Ice Cream... I thought to myself maybe they would have good deals since it's a Nordstrom Rack! I did go to Nordstrom a couple weeks ago and I found some sweaters for $40 and dresses for around $70-100 on sale. I thought to myself maybe I should wait to see if there's better deals at Nordstrom Rack... BIG MISTAKE! I should have just bought what I found the other day at NORDSTROM because what I found at the NORDSTROM RACK was priced higher! SERVICE: The lady at the fitting room was really nice although she did seem tired. After all, it was close to 9pm she must have had a long day. I hope she gets a nice rest... I found one dress for $174 and another one for $247! I thought to myself oh dear! That could definitely buy a lot of nice meals rather than a dress. So I decided to try it on to see if it was worth the price or NOT? It was not worth the price. For $174 and $247 it should FIT LIKE A GLOVE and feel like a MAGIC CARPET RIDE! WILL NOT BE BACK At NORDSTROM RACK!!!

This is for the Hobby lobby location located in Pasadena. There aren't too many other locations…read morenearby so this is the place to go if you're looking for a store for crafts and other items. They're a lot more Michaels stores and this might be the first integration of Hobby lobby here in this area. I know there is one out in West Covina, and that might be the next closest location, but that's still quite a distance away. Everything is very well organized here. It does feel a little bit dated inside, even though this is a newer store. I can't remember if they took over a mervyns or Sears or something but everything is very well organized, and very easy to find where things are. The checkout process is a little bit of a bottleneck. Maybe it's not easier to do self check out kiosks otherwise they would've done it already. On the way out, there was a lady that was upset because the registers are staggered in a specific way, and she either overshot it and I didn't understand the flow of things so she was upset about how she wasn't able to check out yet The immediate area right outside Hobby lobby is a little bit chaotic. A lot of cars and lots of people are trying to park here so sometimes the directional flow things proves to be a little bit challenging for people. It is a bit hectic so don't drive too fast.

A pretty good reproduction of an original Gauguin that happens to be in a nearby Pasadena art museum. Well, we paid a visit to Hobby Lobby, as we were picking up some things from nearby Whole Foods. The store occupies Sear's old location on Foothill. It's a huge place and designed to get you to walk around for things as signage isn't plentiful or helpful. Shelves are high so unless you are very tall you need to search around, guess they took that cue from Costco, it works if you aren't in a hurry. We were happy to find they had a framing department and also a fabric area, which, since the sad closing of JoAnne's, I was glad to see for the ghost of my mother who enjoyed sewing. I'm focusing on the Framing department and the friendly efficient gentleman in charge of that department, his name is Theo. He was helpful and friendly from the start. Their framing prices are posted as 50% off, which sounded great, but I guess the original prices need to be considered before seeing this as a good deal. Well, we checked on one style which had always been our original style we felt appropriate for this art work. We visited Tahiti a couple of years ago and and saw some Gaugain copies framed in a similar style, it works very well, so we inquired as to cost and estimated the size as we didn't have the painting with us. It was very reasonable compared to the frame shops we have checked over the decades, yes, decades! It was a very fair price, not knowing the quality of the work was something to consider, but Theo was very efficient and knew his products and was very meticulous. We could tell we were in very good hands. We were quoted, less the 50%, a little under $100 before tax. A very fair price. We were given a "finish by date", and 5 days before that date I gave a call to check on status, I was told it would be done in a couple of days. I was surprised and happy to receive a message later that day from Theo that our framing job was finished and available for pick up. We got over there that evening and Though Theo was gone then, a nice young lady got our finished product for us. It looked very nice. She walked us and the painting up to the lone cashier, as that is their policy, and we waited in line to pay. They did open another register as the line was about 6 people deep. I'm not going to get into their company politics, but over all it was a positive experience, especially thanks to Theo and his friendly, knowledgeable service and framing skill. Thanks Theo!

This is a pretty big plaza. On Foothill BLVD, there are a several establishments. However, the most…read morepopular ones are Starbucks, Whole Foods, CVS, Home Goods, Sears, Marshall's, and Panda Express. And in the back of Whole Foods, you have Rite Aids, Chuck E Cheese, Super Cuts, and the Habit. There are plenty of parking spaces available in the front and in the back. The spaces are pretty wide. At night, this parking lot is lit up brightly. There are no security cameras on either side of the lot.

Good to see a community come together like this. We stopped for coffee and noted Whole Foods, Einstein Bagels, Vromans bookstore etc then in search of Rite Aid, walked through the cut to emerge into the empty Chuck E Cheese Rite Aid side of the plaza. Note to self, Park in this side for greater ease. Parking lot is huge.

This little Torrid is located in an easy to get to location, which I love considering I hate going…read moreto the mall. This is located in a shopping center and parking is usually very easy in the large lot unless it's a weekend. The inside is clean and they have a good selection. Do I wish this Torrid was bigger? Absolutely I do. When I compare the inside to other stores it is larger. They also have a better selection than most stores do. I did notice that there was only one person working there and she seemed stressed when I asked her to open a dressing room. She was handling the register, opening dressing rooms, emptying them, and keeping an eye on the store. She was very nice when I was checking out and even took the time to answer a few questions I had. She was joined by another employee while I was there so someone must have been on break. My shopping experience was great though. I will come back here anytime I need to shop in store.

The store was clean, plenty of parking. Clean restrooms.
