Woah! Where do I start. The food, the drinks, the story/vibe? Everything about this place was on point and exactly what I expected. I ended up reading about this place early in quarantine times and was bummed I wasn't able to try it in person. I ended up skipping their virtual drink tastings but wish I didn't in hindsight. The overall vibe of this place is great. It's well decorated and really makes you feel like you stepped into a well thought out and unique comfy environment when you walk in (also the bathroom has the coolest light haha. In addition, their menu itself has a bunch of drinks and themed stories behind Milly, who I'm not sure is a real person or character. The menu has a good selection of drinks and I can't remember exactly what we ordered, but I got an old fashioned which was so well done with their own unique flavors which were accentuated well. The other was the Parker Cinemas, which based was an alcoholic coke that was phenomenal. As far as food goes, I think they have a rotation of menu items so it changes but everything we had was well thought out and great. Honestly, the cheapest and best bar snacks I've had for the price. Also the truffle popcorn was my favorite thing, couldn't see my self spending that much on a bowl of popcorn but it was so worth it. Overall everything about this place is on point. Will be back and have been telling others to go here when they can. read more

10/10!!!! We came for cocktails last night and we're blown away by the service and the incredible cocktails. Our server had just made this incredible lavender syrup and made a new age gin and tonic using it with a little creme de violette that was incredible. Highly recommend to any cocktail lovers in Denver! read more

What a stunning little cocktail bar right in (lohi?? What neighborhood is this???) The ambiance is a 10/10 for sure! Tastefully decorated, beautiful bar! Pretty tables and chairs for lounging; they're quite comfortable too. They offer small bites which is a nice accompaniment to your cocktail hour; and they do happy hour from 3-6pm. We tried a few things; deviled eggs, shrimp, mushroom toast, but I have to say the star of the show for me was hands down the cauliflower croquettes! Omg these are soooo good, and vegetarian!! You have to get these! Loved the cocktail menu, all of the cocktails sounded amazing! I went with the Delta Royale - Blanco Tequila, Lavender Blanc Vermouth, Lime Juice, Giffard Fraise de Bois, Aloe. It was very tasty and served in a beautiful glass perfect for photos! My companion got the Pen Women - Raw Cacao Butter Washed Vodka, Oat Milk, House Made Vanilla Créme Soda. I have to say I was quite jealous because it was also delicious!!! I wish Oat milk was utilized in more cocktails because I am a fan! All and all I would definitely come back here again to try more of the menu! read more

Wow. The head bartender/gm(?) Kyle is a legit pro up there with the world's top-ranked cocktail bars that we have visited in recent years. He made creative decisions based on our conversation of what we like & were looking for.. Every cocktail was stunningly well-balanced and delicious. So, so delicious. We were thrilled and impressed, and stayed much longer than initially intended! Thank you so much, Kyle! Cool room and well-designed space, really nice people, bumping loud music on a Fri night. read more

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The interior of the bar is beautiful and well designed, making our time inside enjoyable. We ordered two cocktails (a mojito and a south side) and one mock tail (can tab). All three were very refreshing and well made. The price point is a little higher than other cocktail bars in the area but worth a visit from time to time. I do wish their happy hour menu was a little more expansive, we probably would have stuck around longer if that was the case. read more

We walked by and got drawn in by the esthetics. It's a small but super classy space in a cute part of downtown Denver. It's apparently a tiki bar (but totally doesn't have those vibes). I love their happy hour and the vibe. The best drink was the Delta Royale (this strawberry potion with the most beautiful glass). I also enjoyed my French 75. My husband ordered their Dark and Stormy off of the happy hour which was very gingery but enjoyable! I wanted to try their passion fruit marg but we had to leave so next time! Their HH mojito was also good but pretty standard (and very minty). They also have unlimited popcorn and fun snacks on HH too. We will definitely be back. read more

How fun is it to write a review for a place I've just visited in person! Now it's entirely possible, but I don't think I'm overindexing on the fact that I haven't been out to a bar in months. I'm pretty sure this place just makes really amazing cocktails. We had four drinks total, each were exceptionally unique and well balanced (for example: I had a scotch drink I could chug as a spritzer all day). But the standouts for me were both Martini's. I'm blanking on the names, but one is poured with fino sherry and another served with a shiso leaf, and both rank as some of the best cocktails I've had in Denver (really hard to beat Tatarian IMO, but this felt close). Certainly you should visit here. It is a "take out of town visitors" kind of place if that ever is a thing again. read more

BIG FAN. Came for a late birthday celebration and the team was so nice to let us sit at the bar with hopes of then moving to the dining room. The mural at the back of the bar is hand painted which is really cool! The glassware is totally stunning and the decor is fabulous. There is a large selection of drinks and I got a sesame whiskey something or other that was totally unique and unlike anything Id had before. Staff is super nice, love the lotion in the bathroom (lol) and cute interior. read more

First time here. A nice cocktail bar with plenty of drinks and food choices. Most cocktail bars are limited to nuts and small bites. Room for Milly offers more choices. I started with a classic cocktail, Old Fashioned.($14)..Their version is called Fuel Stop with Bourbon, cranberry liqueur, Angostura bitters and a sprig of Cedar smoked rosemary. Very good and thought provoking with the rosemary sprig. I swirled the sprig in the drink and it changed the profile. I paired it with the chilled shrimp (4 small instead of the usual 2). ($8). The sesame seeds were an interesting touch. I also got 2 Deviled eggs. ($4 each eggs/2 halfs). Very good. My 2nd & 3rd drinks were their Commander ($15). A Manhattan with Toasted Sesame rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, Olorso sherry, Benedictine and celery bitters. I could not taste the bitters. I will ask next time to skip them. I paired it with their burrata ($14). Plenty of mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and very little arugula. I did get 2 chunks of sourdough bread to wipe up the saffron tomato chutney. I will be back to try other drinks and food. read more

One of my favorite places in Denver on my long weekend trip. This place is one of the cutest places I've ever been to for drinks. The decor is on point. Our bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the drinks. She helped my friend and me choose drinks that were to our liking. There's also no rush to leave. You can sit and talk and feel comfortable and relaxed while enjoying a drink. read more

Cute place but disappointed by their spring break decoration. I mainly came here for how cute the booth area looks in their pictures but the wallpaper has been changed to a bland beach scene. I feel like there could've been maximalist beach patterns better suited for that area. But it was a fun idea, I'll be coming back once they're back to their original theme. Service was phenomenal, really friendly people. read more

Very quaint and charming ambiance here!! Walking in here on a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the food and drinks we ordered. Our server was super helpful and had great recommendations for us - and even told us the story behind each era for each cocktail which was really cool! The truffle popcorn was the best popcorn I've ever had. And I got a cocktail that had coke in it which was so unique and distinct! Loved that pairing with the popcorn. Only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the service was a bit slow for a not so busy afternoon. read more

Room for Milly is a kitchy and cutsy new cocktail bar in on Platte street in the Riverfront/ LOHI area. Friends recommended this place and we came here after the first weekend of opening. We came on a Sunday night around 8PM and there were only a couple of other patrons there. There were a ton of options and I started with a manhattan. It's always fun to watch people make cocktails in front of you hoping that you can recreate the concoctions at home. The drink was strong but very delicious and I enjoyed it....so much I had a couple more. The bartenders also made custom cocktails based upon what you like and appreciate in spirits. Really hope this place stays around, the bartenders are friendly and the space is very fun! read more

We ventured into Room for Milly on a random Monday night. They were busy but able to accommodate us. The bar is small and they are taking appropriate social distancing measures so space is limited. We sat at the bar and were able to chat with all the bartenders who were so much fun to talk to and gave us the best drink recommendations. They were flexible in subbing ingredients and making us different concoctions. The drink menu is unique and the drinks itself are delicious. We ordered a few things off their food menu, which consists of little bites. Each one we ordered, however, was amazing. I definitely recommend snacking on their bites while you enjoy your cocktail. Overall we had an amazing experience and hope to return again. read more

Nick was absolutely a sweet heart ask for him as your server! They have a amazing happy hour highly recommend the sangria

Super cute, intimate seating, fantastic cocktails, and fun snacks. We had truffle popcorn, prawns, and cheese. It was a fun place to stop in for a few with friends. read more

The drinks and service were awesome. Super unique stuff and the bartender was great about helping us decide what we should drink. Love the decor of the place. I will say that the food we had needed some work and hopefully they read this review: the popcorn was stale and the candied spiced walnuts were salt bombs and over seasoned. I'm one of those people who likes over salted food so if I say something is too salty it is probably pretty close to inedible. I will go back. The drinks and place were great, but will avoid the food in the future. read more

Really wanted to give this place 5 stars but just couldn't bring myself to do it! To start, the cocktails were amazing - if a bit limited; everything seemed to be on the darker side of cocktails for being early summer. The service was great if a bit slow. Our party of 3 hung out for a good few hours, ordering at least 2 cocktails and some bites. I completely agree with a few others comments that the bites were a bit overpriced for the size. read more

My now boyfriend and I met here on our first date. The vibes were absolutely on point. The dim lighting, tufted seating, apps and adorable cocktails caught me falling in love by the end of the night. Their oysters were also incredible. One year later and we decided to return to this spot. The lighting was much brighter then the moody romantic lighting as previously stated. There is not much seating so a reservation is absolutely required if you want to sit. The organization is a bit confusing when you walk in. There seemed to be no host but maybe a host stand? We were unsure if we were supposed to wait to be sat or not. Overall, it seemed too busy for the staff to handle. The pricing of the cocktails also seemed to rise, we ended up leaving quickly and were sad about it. Don't know if we will be returning. read more

*zero-proof options available* A little snow never stops us from walking to Platte Street for easy sips and apps. The weather called for a Top Side Hot Toddy and cinema truffle popcorn (GREAT portion). They have a cool story, so be sure to read up on it - you might walk out with a painting! Our friendly bartender birdie mentioned they do private events, and we'd be lying if it didn't start considering renting the bar for a special day... Cheers! read more

Super cute cocktail bar on Platt street and a great place to grab drinks after dinner. The place is small and intimate with some table seating and bar arrangements. We got there early for a weekend night so we got to snag the two lounge chairs in the middle. I had a hard time deciding which drink to get so the server was very helpful in answering my questions. I settled on the SS City of Paris Spritz which had vodka, grapefruit, rosewater, and rose. I never thought to mix vodka and rose but it was a tasty drink! It's definitely a cute place to catch up with friends and the service was wonderful! read more

Just kind of blah and mediocre and excuse ridden - lots of great cocktail joints in neighborhood - this ain't one of em

The aesthetic is awesome with diverse geographical influence in the design. The lighting is perfectly executed and provides an intimate experience. Our bartender Kyle was friendly and helpful as he described our drinks, which were great. I had the Douglas 50/50 martini, which was light and subtly sweet, and my girlfriend had The Fuel Stop old fashioned, which was earthy and smoky, with cranberry that wasn't too forward. read more

This bar is a magical place, the decor, the cocktails, everything is so intentional I was taken care of by Ben, Evren, and Mario they were incredibly hospitable. Mario made me a killer michelada with some mezcal. Really simple drink but it was built perfectly. Also, They have a racially diverse staff which I think is so important in these times, and in our city. There isn't anything NOT to love about this bar, I'll be back here again and often. This place used to be good but it has no vibe and is way over priced for super average drinks and poor service.
