The dining room is beautifully decorated--perfectly lit for an evening meal with warm, cozy candlelit tables. The seating is spaced comfortably apart, allowing for private conversation, especially on a night that isn't overly crowded. It's an ideal spot for date night. The restaurant is BYOB, and I noticed they also offer mocktails on the menu. We began with soup. The lobster bisque was savory and flavorful, featuring a plump piece of lobster in the center. The New England clam chowder was also thoroughly enjoyed. There's a wide selection of entrées, and we appreciated the recommendations on the most popular dishes. In addition to steak, poultry, and seafood, the menu also includes a section dedicated to vegan entrées. I ordered the lump crab cake as my entrée, and we also had the fried red snapper. Although the crab cake was lump rather than jumbo lump, it was well seasoned and not overloaded with filler. It was generously sized, filling, and served with a citrus remoulade that complemented it nicely. The whole red snapper was a generous market-priced portion, perfectly coated and fried. The fish was moist, flavorful, and cooked just right--not overdone. Each entrée is thoughtfully garnished; the red snapper was served with fried plantain and mango salsa, which paired beautifully. Sides are served à la carte. We chose the lobster mac and cheese and sautéed spinach. We also ordered the calamari a bit later but enjoyed it before our entrées arrived. It was crispy and drizzled with a sauce that balanced sweetness with a subtle kick of heat. The lobster mac and cheese featured pasta (think it was cavatappi) in a rich, creamy cheese like gouda, topped with a generous piece of lobster. The sautéed spinach was lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly, complementing the meal well. Overall, the dishes were well balanced and full of flavor. We didn't have room for dessert this time, but on our next visit I'd love to try either the butter cake or the bread pudding

I thought it would have more shrimp but it was tasty Lobster bisque was great and had a chunk of lobster in it. Lobster Mac and cheese ...for $19 I expected a bit more lobster. It had almost nothing (zoom in on my picture). Disappointed. As my soup had more lobster. I do have to say the Mac and cheese was tasty. They should take off the lobster part and sell it as just Mac and cheese Burger was real tasty. Yum! The decor was nice. The white chair was dirty/nasty and needs to be steamed. I didn't sit back because of it. Plenty of lot parking

After being directed to the kiosk, I was unsure of what to do while waiting for my order. When an employee (who identified herself as the owner's wife) approached me, the way she addressed me regarding sitting down felt dismissive and unprofessional rather than welcoming. As a new customer who was already confused by the system, this left a poor first impression. I came in hoping for a great experience at a local business, but I felt disrespected during the interaction. I was hoping to try their ramen, but ended up ordering the shrimp tacos based on the suggestion of the day. I hope the management considers how they interact with new customers, as it really impacted my desire to return. Although the food was great and the owner was very kind and respectful, the way his wife acted wasn't very kind and professional. Maybe next time I'll DoorDash.

This was a really great spot. My coworker and I were over in North Jersey for work but flew in and out of PHL rather than facing Newark. In order to beat the crazy construction traffic outside of Philly and to have a buffer for whatever TSA nightmare we were going to face, we got back near the airport early... like 4 1/2 hours before our flight kind of early. I wanted breakfast outside of the airport so I found this spot while he was refilling the rental car. I got the French toast with homefries. The french toast was perfect, with just a tiny bit of crisp in spot from the griddle. Same with the homefries. I would have liked a bit more seasoning while they were cooking, but a bit of salt and pepper and I was good to go. My coworker got the big breakfast but subbed out the homefries for corned beef hash. While I'm not a fan of corned beef hash, it looked exactly like how my mom and grandfather like it, with a little bit of crisp to it. The pancake was huge and he said his over medium eggs were cooked exactly like he hoped they would be. Now I just need to plan out my flights so I can come get breakfast here again and try one of the sandwiches, or omelettes, or maybe get French toast again...

Today was no exception. Their grilled chicken sandwich was not what I hoped for. On the plus side, it was a generous portion of chicken, most of which I took home. As a negative -- at least for me -- I like a flat filet, with grill marks. This was "chunky," rendering it clumsy to eat. It simply didn't taste grilled at all. And the chicken was dry. T ordered a country omelet that was filled with breakfast meats, cheddar and peppers. Though not my thing, I agreed it was pretty good. His grits were creamy, buttery and delicious. Coffee is strong and served in the old-fashioned heavy mugs that I favor. Our server was friendly. ("Where are you from?" she asked, picking up on my Brooklyn accent.) I asked if Greek lemon soup is ever on the menu. She said that the owners are Turkish, then gave me a rundown of their specialties, all of which sound delish. (Alas, no avgolemono.) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Folcroft. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is clean -- as pointed out by another Yelper AND our waitress. If you order the right thing, you'll no doubt be pleased.

Hoping that what we say online from so many people in Delco was the definitive answer for a wonderful Stromboli, the drive out to Lansdowne was done and there I stood in front of the unique counter that drops down about six feet into the kitchen, a setup I simply still don't really understand, waiting for the boli promised to be the ultimate in its field by the people of the area. We had ordered the roast pork stromboli and when it arrived from deep within the bowels of the seemingly subterranean kitchen, I could see the steam coming from the box and could smell the delicious amalgamation of cheese, meat, and sauces within the folded dough. I raced the box back to the car and quickly drove home to cut the thing open to find exactly what I had hoped. An explosion of delicious flavor in all of its glory; still piping hot, quickly devoured! While I cannot say definitively that this is absolute best Stromboli in Delco or "that I've ever had" as I was guaranteed it was, it was exceptionally outstanding. I will be returning here whenever I am passing by the area and will be trying other stromboli offerings. If you are local or simply nearby, you should check out Paul Revere as well and experience the wonder of a top-tier, interestingly different, Stromboli from the heavens of the kitchen of deliciousness.
