Frame is definitely a VIBE. Not sure if it's just the energy i felt from patrons (mostly my group) or the music being played but i barely sat down the entire time. We joined some new friends here after another spot and enjoyed drinks. Their menu was somewhat tempting but I didn't see anything I'd definitely had to try. The outside area is prefect for chilling and with heaters can be used all year round. Imagine snow falling into your mimosa got the perfect touch. Another spot added to my Philly List

If you're looking for somewhere to enjoy a birthday or have a fun night out this is the place! My friends and I went for her birthday and were impressed by the attentiveness and personality of the staff! We were given complimentary drinks and our waiter was hilarious, he had us laughing all night! I ordered the teriyaki salmon and it was so good I saved some to take home for later. After our delicious dinner we went upstairs to the club/lounge area and danced in between our photo taking. On the way home we kept talking about how much we enjoyed this spot and that we definitely had to come again. Frame Philly will forever have a special place in my heart.

I was having a staycation in the area and decided to check out this restaurant for Sunday dinner. I love the intimate ambiance and sensual RnB vibes, immediately I was seated at my 7pm reservation. For starters, I had the Strawberry Julip and the Oysters. I love oysters and I was a little concerned when my oysters weren't sitting on ice. The Fresno mignonette also wasn't my favorite. It tasted like it was from a jar. Great drink, but the oysters I could've done without. For my entree, I had the Steamed Mussels and French fries. I loved the sauce the oysters were in. The white wine, herbs, and lemon really gave it a nice twang. I would add a little sugar to the sauce to round out the acidity of the dish, but it was delicious. 3.7 out of 4. Walking around the city we happened to find Frame. It was Saturday afternoon (brunch) and we hoped to get a table without a reservation. They were booked with large parties for the day. But, they offered that we could sit at the bar. Our bartender was super nice and drinks were great! For brunch we tried the Chicken and Waffles, Cajun Style Grits and the bartender highly suggested the breakfast potatoes. The Chicken and Waffles were good and presentation was nice, The Cajun grits had a large piece of salmon and at least 6 large shrimp. There was not a lot of grits with the entree. The flavor was great but more salmon and shrimp dish. But, I would order it again! The breakfast potatoes were ok. They looked nice. But, the potatoes were a bit underdone for our liking. Check them out!

Keep in mind it was beautiful when it got to me!

Came through to celebrate a friend's birthday during their late night situation. First and foremost, vibes. The restaurant is fairly narrow but it's slightly enough space to get to and from your table. The DJ was definitely reading the room when it came to music. The food was bomb, especially the skewers. The drinks were darn good as well! We went upstairs when Unframed opened and it's really chill there as well. It's recommended to get a table, otherwise you're standing. The music was still poppin and the photo ops were top notch.

Beautiful establishment, Great food, music could be a little better but it wasn't bad. Our waitress Jordan was the best she was very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. Cost wise it's veryyyyyyyy pricey they have an automatic 18% and 2% tax but it was worth it. My advice bring your wallet ready lol

My friends surprised me at Frame Philly for my birthday and upon arrival the vibes were vibing. The DJ that night was playing all the right songs and had us feeling right. The food was also very flavorful and enjoyable. We ended up ordering a few plates to share family style: Mussels, calamari, the pasta of the week (that week it was a seafood pasta) and lamb chops. Our server was very kind and attentive. The only downside and the reason that my rating is a 4 and not a 5 is because they are very strict with the timing and how long you're allowed to be dining for, which is not the best when you're trying to have a night out. No one likes to feel rushed, especially on your birthday. The manager (or whoever was in charge that night) was frustrating and for all the money we were paying for food and drinks, let us eat and stay until we please. Other than that, Frame is a vibe, so I guess don't go on a busy night when there's a potential to be rushed out of your seat.

Came here during the week for dinner. Drinks were pricey so we didn't get any, so can't really talk on the quality. We got a couple apps and two entrees. Truffle fries were good. The octopus was over cooked (btw we were the only table so it was not a busy night) and the pork belly was extremely over cooked and not good. Lamb lollipops were good but lacked some flavor. The sauce on the side helped. The stuffed fish was something that you'd get from a frozen section. There was barely any crab meat and just a bunch of filling. The tuna was cooked well and very tasty. Service was great, but unfortunately we will not go back.

Went for bottomless brunch. Saw this place on TikTok and thought it was gonna be a good party vibe but it wasn't. It was the complete opposite. There were maybe 2 other tables there. The music was good but just completely random. Went from playing Jeremih to Chainsmokers, which again is good but just random. Our server was amazing. Kept the bubbles flowing and took good care of us. The bussers were rude and we're making fun of us. The food was good. Nothing spectacular. The chimichurri sauce was terrible. It's a good spot to go to if you're looking for a reasonably priced bottomless brunch but I wouldn't go here if you're looking for actual food food and good vibe.

Came here on a weekend with a friend and was pretty underwhelmed. We came for brunch and I like that they provide you will bottles of Prosecco at your table for bottomless so you can refill at your convenience. I didn't like that the mimosa's were served in a coupe cocktail glass though -- I feel like people don't drink mimosas at the super slow speed they would drink a sidecar or something of that nature (which made the drink very easy to spill). The food however, was underwhelming. I got the tacos and found them to be bland, not even the sauce on the side could hide the fact that these tacos had little to no flavor. My friend got the French Toast which was good. The ambiance gives more of a lounge vibe. If I were to come back I wouldn't do brunch again, I'd probably give their dinner a try and see if it's better.

My two favorites are Born Again and Buck 48. The Born Again is a clarified punch that's super refreshing--almost leaning tart, but in a really good way. The Buck 48 is also refreshing, with warm, spicy notes that give it an autumn vibe, though honestly, it's great any time of year. If you're in the mood for something bold and boozy, I also recommend The Golden Ticket. My palate leans away from anything overly sweet or overpowering--I appreciate balance--and every cocktail I've had here hits just right. The only sad thing is that my favorite bartenderess is no longer there, but the staff is still awesome, and the music is always on point, which keeps the vibe strong. Just a heads-up: this cocktail bar is upstairs from Sassafras, and the menus are completely different. If you're looking for a true craft cocktail experience, make sure you're upstairs at 48 Record Bar. The atmosphere is great. I usually go on Saturday nights around 8 p.m. and have been lucky to grab a seat, though it definitely gets more crowded later. The fact that I've been back several times says a lot--especially since I usually only visit a place once with so many options in the city.

Huge bar, giant wall of liquor bottles, dim lighting, and a cool old-school vibe. I told the bartender that ordering a beer in a place like this felt like I was insulting him. But then I spotted a dark beer on the menu that sounded too good to pass up. If you follow me, you know I'm slowly becoming a dark beer guy. I liked it a lot. The sandwich special was a cheesesteak. Sorry, I should've taken a picture of the menu. But I really enjoyed it, and for $18 it came with a mountain of seasoned fries, which feels like a bargain these days. I ordered guacamole and chips for appetizers and it came out right away. The chips are fresh and not stale. Good amount of guacamole. Street corn aka elote. The corn is juicy. Unfortunately, it was not enrobed with mayo and cotija cheese as a typical elote should be. Fried plantain: not many slices. They are dry and not sweet . I was hoping for more ripe plantain Birria tacos: small tacos, the consommé lacks of depth of flavor. I could only taste saltines. The waiter asked if I wanted rice and beans. I said only beans. The complimentary crunchy corn snack for the table was a nice surprise! We ordered an app, a ceviche, and four entrees to share between the six of us and found that plenty filling. The Yuca Frita app was tasty with a delicious dip we held on to, but I wish it came with more as six pieces felt small for the price. The Ceviche Mixto was a more solid portion with a great variety of seafood; it was on the tart side but came with a really nice cilantro sauce that the table ate clean. Out of our entrees, the Lomo Saltado was the highlight with well-cooked and tender chunks of steak and yummy fries (simple, I know). The Pescado a Lo Macho and Arroz con Mariscos were very generous portions with a ton of various seafood; even the fried fish dish came with shrimp, mussels, and scallops on top. The Aji de Gallina was maybe the least noteworthy entree, a chicken stew with cassava and rice, but even that was hearty and filling. Service was good throughout with plenty of water refills, and the cost was surprisingly reasonable for what we ordered. I'd definitely recommend this place for seafood lovers, and I'd be interested in coming back to try the roast chicken and to have the lomo saltado and ceviche again!
