Several signs for the roof top bar stating they are open but they are closed. We looked through the door windows to see stacked chairs tables pushed aside and basically abandon. We went down stairs to the front desk to be told they are closed for the rest of the year. Maybe don't show on google OR have signs saying roof top bar open. read more

Great view and vibe. Two outdoor gas fireplaces . Excellent cocktails. Very limited menu, even more limited (just 3 things to choose from today) on the shoulder season and none that great. The sliders and sandwich were okay. The best thing besides the view was the broccolini. read more

Skip this place... aside from the view, the food menu is limited and mediocre. $14 for one crab cake... a single cake. And their drinks tasted like melted popsicles for $16 served to you in a plastic cups. Head to the Union instead. Service was good. read more

Such wasted potential. The menu is atrocious and very limited. It was a different menu completely to what was advertised online. It's also needlessly expensive. It's weird to sit in a crowded space like that and hardly see anyone eating. The drinks are just as lack luster and limited. They didn't even have a single vegetarian option on their menu besides the dessert. The fireplace wasn't on and the music was quiet and muffled so it didn't have much ambiance other than the view itself. I'm not sure why Majestic neglects this space but it really does have the ability to become a hotspot with minimal effort. I go to the Rooftop Lounge frequently with friends and family when they're in town, and it's a great place to meet up before dinner for a drink. I've probably been there 20 times or more, so this review has been a long time coming. The Rooftop is always understaffed. We have to be assertive to place orders, order more rounds, get our bill, and pay our bill ... and we aren't the only ones literally running down the staff to receive service. It's not the staff, it's the poor ratio of staff to customers. The service issue is the reason my friends and I don't go there more frequently. It's frustrating, because the Majestic surely knows they will have plenty of customers on a nice day! I don't get it. The food and drink menu rotates and is rather random. Last year, there was a printed menu, and this year there is a small white board to order from, which is placed on the floor in front of the bar. Yeah, I don't know either. The food is GREAT. I've only had awesome food experiences there, but the menu can't be predicted and it's really awkward to use a white board that's propped against the bar. The drinks are good. We haven't had any issues with weird wine or cocktails. There are usually a few beers on tap, too. Drinks are limited, but I feel like there's something there for everyone. They usually have a few, fun specialty cocktails. The Rooftop Lounge is hard to rate. The view is epic and spectacular, and it's a nice, romantic spot, but service, the food menu, and the drink menu are a hot mess. Additionally, it's impossible to predict what will be on the menu or available behind the bar until you're there. When we go, we usually go with a willingness to leave if we are waiting more than 20 minutes to even be greeted by a staff member, or if the tiny menu isn't interesting to us. read more

My husband and his parents and I just finished dinner on the water, and we wanted a cocktail after, so his parents recommended this rooftop bar that sounded amazing and beautiful! We showed up 20 minutes before closing, so it was last call, but our waiter was so kind and got our drinks ordered right away, but his manager or boss behind the bar was so rude and loud about it. Even after we got our drinks, I could hear him complaining about how annoying it is to shut down the roof and told the employees to turn the fire pits off so we would leave. I manage three restaurants so I understand his frustration, but keep it out of hearing range. Very inappropriate. This place has a beautiful view but his attitude was obvious and rude. read more

Had the best time on the patio last night. Rebecca and Bobi were awesome. Every table was socially distanced and they were cleaning the tables and chairs after anyone used them! I live in Anacortes and have been here 5 years now. I have seen nothing but the decline of the Majestic Rooftop Bar and the dining and service at this place. We recently went with a group of 6 on a Thursday at 6:00. We ordered appetizers off the bar menu and drinks. We were on the rooftop bar. First off, we were trying to get our tabletop umbrella up and after several struggles by the women in our group, finally our waitress came over to help us. There was a male server at one of the bars who was so busy with his face in his phone that he couldn't be bothered to help us. When he finally did come over, we already it up with the help of our waitress. I told him we didn't need him now. It took us an hour and 20 minutes to get shrimp skewers and a horrible blueberry salad. They were out of the oysters, the crab cakes and the higher end Vodka. This is a bar on the rooftop of a beautiful city, with million dollar homes and this restaurant is running on empty on a THURSDAY right before the weekend? What the heck? Our drinks were weak and there is no way an experienced bartender is working there. Our bill was $300 and I am usually a generous tipper but I could only fathom 10%. Horrible experience. Someone needs to take this place over and provide the quality of service that people deserve. The rooms in this hotel are over $300 a night. I will never go here again and I will spread the word that this is the worst place for dining. If you drive up and down Commercial Avenue any given evening in the summer, every restaurant is packed except this place. Red flags that something is horribly wrong and no one knows what they are doing at The Majestic. read more

Totally worth the price! Best Old Fashioned I've ever had and husband's Gin and Tonic was equally as good. I can't speak to the food but if you want a great drink and awesome atmosphere, this is the place to go! read more

Love this place. Finally went and always look forward to returning. Small rooftop with amazing views, relaxing,friendly atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. Limited food and drink offers, both a bit pricey but still love it. The sunsets are amazing! Definitely one of my new favorite spots. Just wish it was open year round. read more

This place has absolutely the best view in town. Great patio furniture, comfortable and ample seating. However, I'll go back to Swinomish Casino rooftop happy hour instead of the Majestic mainly because of its better stocked bar and food selection and more reasonable prices (with happy hour prices). The Rooftop was out of several items on their menu, which left our options quite limited. If they can fix this, I'd love to frequent this establishment over the casino. This place absolutely has the potential to be the best happy hour spot in town, but it has not yet reached that potential. I'll check in again and hopefully they've upped their game. read more

Great 270 views but way over priced for both food and drink. You're paying for the view but you can grab a 6 pack and hit picnic many other places in town. This isn't NYC. I'd go for a beer. read more

I love it, yes a bit over priced, but the view and fireplaces are AMAZING. Plus the good is fantastic! It's a great place for summer evenings. read more
