I also had a little paring knife, which I had dropped several months back and the tip broke off so that was going to get repaired and sharpened. As it explained on the website it there are various drop off points, but it is easiest for me just to go directly to his home location in Paramus. I pulled up and handed over my knives. The next morning, my knives were ready for pick up. I got a fair warning to be very careful as they would be extremely sharp and many don't realize until it's too late. I was so excited to use my knives that I immediately took out a tomato which I had not been able to slice without lots of pressure and a mess for a long time. I couldn't believe the ease of slicing through. I didn't have to apply any pressure and had a beautiful sliced piece. I did end up with a tiny cut on my thumb, even after Enrico's thoughtful warning, but it was so worth it to have these amazing sharp knives. Also for reference he charges by the length of the knife so for my two knives and the tip being repaired, it was only $14.50. Well worth it. Highly highly recommend.

I'm one of those home chefs, trained from watching and reading but with no restaurant experience…read more I've watched so many YouTube channels on how to sharpen knives either on a stone or via pull-throughs. Some of my knives had heavy swirl marks on the steel, most likely because I was doing something wrong while trying to sharpen them myself. After many of these do-it-yourself remedies, I figured I'd get someone to do it for me, the right way. I googled knife sharpening local to me and found Ziggy, almost an hour away! I called and explained to Ziggy what I've tried doing and that I thought I just needed them done by a professional. Ziggy told me they'd be finished in 2-3 days for 5 of my Zwilling knives. A few days later, I received the phone call telling me that my knives were ready to be picked up. I got them home and WOW! I didn't think the swirl marks would come out. I don't know what he did but my knives look amazing AND, they are ridiculously sharp!
