Some of my knives had heavy swirl marks on the steel, most likely because I was doing something wrong while trying to sharpen them myself. After many of these do-it-yourself remedies, I figured I'd get someone to do it for me, the right way. I googled knife sharpening local to me and found Ziggy, almost an hour away! I called and explained to Ziggy what I've tried doing and that I thought I just needed them done by a professional. Ziggy told me they'd be finished in 2-3 days for 5 of my Zwilling knives. A few days later, I received the phone call telling me that my knives were ready to be picked up. I got them home and WOW! I didn't think the swirl marks would come out. I don't know what he did but my knives look amazing AND, they are ridiculously sharp! Great place to deal with. I recently moved to the area. Moving to a much larger property, in the…read moresummer, I had to be prepared with a larger mower, string trimmer, and blower. I was planning to stop by a couple of shops to see local dealers of different brands, and see who I wanted to deal with for buying and getting my future equipment serviced. I stopped in while we were in attorney review, met with Mike, and discussed the options. The conversation felt like I had stepped back in time, and was talking to someone I had know a long time, and I knew right away that I trusted him, and wasn't going anywhere else. He was very honest, and didn't steer me to their most expensive equipment. I explained that I was still about six weeks out from needing everything, but wanted to make sure that when the time came, he had them on hand. I even offered a deposit. He declined the deposit, and wrote my name, number, and future address in his book, and said he'd be ready when we were. Fast forward a month, our closing got delayed a couple of weeks. I called Mike to let him know, and make sure he remembered me. He remembered right away, and said he was still good when I was. When the time came, I called him, and we set up delivery. He brought everything to the house all set up and ready to go as he said he would. I'll be heading there soon to look at snow throwers.
