Interesting little place located in the hell hole that is the Westgate Mall to get your sewing…read moremachine or vacuum cleaner fixed and to get various belts/parts/bags for your vacuum. Recently our Hoover stopped working and after deciding that while a new vacuum could be in order due to the age our current model, we would attempt the fix and repair route to save some $$$. I drove over to Westgate and after waiting for a few minutes while a guy bought some bags and a little old blue hair dropped off her sewing machine it was finally my turn and what a turn it was. The place is run by a husband/wife? combo and there son Jer was there. Now I say Jer because I don't know his name but dad kept referring to him only in rapid fire sucession as Jer He talks like Joe Pesci in Lethal Weapon 4. Every two seconds it was: "Jer we gotta do this" "Jer we gotta plug this in" "Jer get me some of this" "Jer get me some of that" and so on. It was comical yet maddening as his son talked about as much as Teller and looked exacerbated by dad's machine gun mouth. But getting back to the story, the vacuum got it's new belts and filter with the total time involved being less than 15 minutes. I thoroughly recommend this place for a job well done and for the sheer comedic value. (Maybe in a future visit I'll see what happens when he asks me my name and I say that it's Riggs.)

After they looked at my machine, they told me the shaft was bent and could not be repaired. I would not give up on my machine and took it to another local repair place. They not only fixed my machine, but told me that many screws were missing and wondered if I had it looked at by anyone else. I would not recommend this place if it was the last one open.
