Now I see why Lisa trusts them so much.....Him and his wife are extremely knowledgeable, sweet and helpful; especially for me being a new groomer!!!!! They were kind enough to teach me how to properly upkeep my blades and showed me QUALITY products that I should be buying..as opposed to getting ripped off! During my groom he even handed me a temporary clipper and blade to use so I may complete my groom. I will use their services time and again.. I love the new shears I bought from him and couldn't be happier.. I am grateful to have their help and sharpening services!!!!!

This place overcharges for labor and parts and has pretty terrible customer service…read more I moved to the area three years ago and get my mower and trimmer serviced regularly. The first year I went here I was floored at how much more expensive they were than my previous repair shop. Last year, they replaced my mower blades without asking me to the tune of 250! Rip off. This year, against my better wishes, I went back to have my blades sharpened. They kept the mower for 3 weeks without a call. I had to badger them to get the work done. When I showed up, they said they had to charge me extra to clean the mower deck. Again , no approval , just did it for $50 extra. I'm done with this place. There's much better shops like Moyers in harleysville or kellners in north Wales. AVOID WEST END AT ALL COSTS.

I went here recently with a pressure washer that simply would not run for more than a few seconds…read more I figured it was probably old gas in the carb and tank. I didn't have an appointment, but they accepted the washer anyway. It has a small footprint and it was going to be a small job, anyway. The folks in the shop don't always see you standing at the front counter, so it is best to just walk back to the aprts counter if you want service. They charge about $48 for a repair estimate, which gets deducted off the repair charge if you have them do the work. After about 11 days of waiting, I called West Side to see if the washer as ready. Their response was that they would "probably" look at it the next day, meaning they hadn't even done the initial estimate inspection. Well, they did indeed look at it the next day, then they called me up and said it would cost about $160 to fix it, which seemed about $30 too high. Still, the item got fixed. I just wish they got back to me without being prodded. I think the mechanical aspect of this shop is sold, but the customer service could use some TLC.

I rented an excavator from them and when I brought it to my job site, it was broken. I called the lady and she said it "wasn't her problem". I was dumbfounded by the lack of customer appreciation. I told her that this was not fair and she said "don't come back then". I cannot believe Marty even owns a business. How inappropriate. If you're looking for inoperable equipment and a Nazi-like owner, this is your place to go! The rest of the workers are relatively nice. I had several questions I wanted to ask the owner and she told me she can't help me. The place is in a horrible location. You cant even get there when you search on google maps because the section of Bethlehem Pike is a one-way street.
