We asked Diane to put new foam in the cushions of a sofa. The end result was very good, and…read moreoverall we are pleased with the work she did. Our personal dealings with her were not the best, however. Things started off well. Diane told us she had to order the foam, and that it might take weeks to arrive. But she told us we could keep the cushions until the foam arrived so we would be without them for the least amount of time. That was considerate. I had the impression that the work would be done as soon as we delivered the cushions, and that we would have the cushions back within days or a week or so. I don't think Diane gave me an estimate of the work time. Weeks later, Diane texted that the foam had been delivered and we brought the cushions to the address she gave us. While unloading the cushions, I noticed she was not wearing a mask, so I asked her to stay 6 feet away from me. She seemed stunned and a little annoyed. That's when things began to go downhill. Then we were told that the work might take up to two weeks. That was a disappointing surprise but at that point, we had little choice. In fact, the work took more than two weeks, and we believe we only got the cushions back that quickly because we told her we felt a little misled. When we picked up the finished cushions, Diane was silent and frowning, but again not wearing a mask. Fortunately, she kept a safe distance. I am pretty sure she would not want to work for us again. It may be, as Diane told us, that her schedule was disrupted by COVID-19. But our entire interaction occurred during the pandemic, and it would have been helpful for her to let us know earlier that we might be without the cushions for over two weeks. FYI, both I and my wife are in the vulnerable segment of the population for COVID and we are sensitive when people don't follow socially responsible practices regarding the virus.

We took them to Kauffman's after seeing the wonderful reviews, and we couldn't be more pleased. The craftsmanship is spectacular. These are Ethan Allen chairs, and they look better than brand new. There is no reason to go out and ever buy brand new chairs. Find chairs with good bones, take them to Kauffman's to be reupholstered and you will be so much happier with the result. I cannot wait to find the next chairs to get done at Kauffmans. Their work is a work of art.

We were the GC on the project and we commissioned them to take our wooden carcass and add the padding and the REAL Black Genuine Leather in a diamond tufted pattern. We had him add more and more padding on the bottom to make the guests set in the banquette- not ontop of it (if you know about them - you understand what Im saying) we raised the front so the guests hind legs would be snug and the seat would never want to be vacated (the restaurant also does bottle service)! Zoron and team worked around the clock to deliver the most beautiful and soft and comfortable banquettes that i personally have ever sat in ! The quality was impeccable throughout the entire 4200 LF of banquette. We also had his team clad panels that were installed under the bar along the entire facing of (2) main bars in the restaurant as well as 100 12"x12" wall decor panels! My reaction "not my problem if weather is not allowing driver to pick up dumpster" no one told me this before I rented dumpster. The resolve that was told to me was for me to clear and snow around d dumpster. Again not my job I am disabled with a back issues and can not shovel anything every again. I was told that's what I have to do to make pick possible. I then stated I will give your driver a shovel and he/she can shovel whatever they need removed. I was then threaten with additional charges be cause they would have issues with pick up. Check all contract ask every question possible they will bill you for thier inconveniences. I Won't rent here again.
