A local business said they only worked on Hunter Douglas products and might not be able to get the right parts. Then... cue drum roll... Ziegler said they would pick up the broken blind and return it the next day. Turns out, they did even better. Sean came in the specified time window - hallelujah! - after calling to say exactly when he'd arrive - double hallelujah! - and happened to have the right part with him. I received a quote way above everyone else at almost $2500. I said what about budget in your name, and he responded by saying what I wanted was expensive. Blackout blinds are so much money I inquired, and he said that the price was the price and that was it. As most people do, I had four companies to come in to estimate and they were the highest. This month my heater was found to work improperly by the gas company and I needed to have it fixed for safety reasons before I could use it again. The gas technician had a bit of a discouraging attitude towards the furnace being able to be repaired and hinted that it would have to be replaced but Ray proved otherwise. He cleaned it thoroughly checked it up and down replaced a duct and was able to ensure that it was running correctly and safely in a short amount of time. He gave me HONEST advice regarding the furnace and hot water heater. When the gas tech came by to reinspect the furnace he was impressed by Ray's work also and he gave it the all clear to go! If only all HVAC and other appliance servicers were as knowledgeable, as good of a worker, courteous, friendly and fair priced as Ray, getting work done in a home would be something to look forward to. Oh and not to forget he was on time and left the area clean.
