We have a great deck in the backyard, but in the summertime it just gets too hot to enjoy comfortably, especially midday. We researched a number of awning companies in the area (we live in Westchester County, NY) and finally landed on Breslow out in Northern NJ - and we are glad we did it. Dana came out to our house and measured everything up within a few days of our initial phone call. Installers were here about a week and a half days after that. Everything went smoothly, and Dana was just fantastic at every step - knowledgeable, accommodating, and always available to answer questions. You can always tell a difference when you're dealing with someone who takes real ownership in their business. We landed on a retractable awning with a sunbrella fabric and it works flawlessly. Dana told us that having this setup with reduce the temperature by 20 degrees or more on those hot summer days. It's still a little early in the season yet, so jury is still out on how accurate that is, but I can say with certainty that we're really looking forward to finally enjoying our deck - we're already planning our first party. My awning is much more than I expected! Dana came to my house for a retractable awning consult. I have a small space and wanted something that would be invisible when not opened.
