I decided to try a new dry cleaner since they were super close to my house. I brought 8 of my…read morehusbands dress shirts. The woman was kind, and I was happy to have a super local cleaner. Well my husband started wearing the shirts and told me they smell moldy. I smelled them and sure enough, under the plastic, each newly cleaned shirt smelled moldy...yuck! He thinks maybe they put the plastic on while they were still slightly damp. That would do it! Today I stopped in to explain the situation. I figured they would re-clean them for me but I didn't even get a chance to ask. She told me "some people have homes that smell moldy, so that's why." I'm not sure if she even realized how rude that was. We don't have a moldy or smelly house. My husband has so many more dress shirts in the closet, none of which smell bad. He literally wore one fresh out of the cleaner's bag to work, and smelled the moldy smell all day. We've never had this happen at another dry cleaner's. (If they are still in the plastic, how would they pick up the smell from anywhere else?). Really disappointed with the customer service. Keeping a client is just as important as making one.

They were very respectful of our belongings, worked carefully around our cat, and were incredibly kind and patient with our very curious three-year-old who kept checking in on what they were doing. One of the nicest touches was how they organized her bed, arranging all of her stuffed animals in a playful, fun way that absolutely made her day. Those little personal details really stood out. However they do a pretty darn good one. the great things about these guys, however, is the pickup and delivery service. you pretty much just leave things out on your front porch on either a tuesday or a friday and they drop your clothes off the next visit. If you want your shirts folded, they fold them. They also charge comparably to other places in my area, which is Chatham.
