Inside the dry cleaners, there's a dedicated sewing and alterations room with a changing area. My initial fitting was on a Monday. It was short and efficient, but definitely not rushed--they were warm and accommodating, and clearly knew what they were doing. A few days later on Thursday, I got a text that the dress was ready! Alterations are never cheap, but Maria's skill and attention to detail make every penny worth it. I can't praise her enough. If you need anything tailored, I highly recommend Maria. Well my husband started wearing the shirts and told me they smell moldy. I smelled them and sure enough, under the plastic, each newly cleaned shirt smelled moldy...yuck! He thinks maybe they put the plastic on while they were still slightly damp. That would do it! Today I stopped in to explain the situation. I figured they would re-clean them for me but I didn't even get a chance to ask. She told me "some people have homes that smell moldy, so that's why." I'm not sure if she even realized how rude that was. We don't have a moldy or smelly house. My husband has so many more dress shirts in the closet, none of which smell bad. He literally wore one fresh out of the cleaner's bag to work, and smelled the moldy smell all day. We've never had this happen at another dry cleaner's. (If they are still in the plastic, how would they pick up the smell from anywhere else?). Really disappointed with the customer service. Keeping a client is just as important as making one.
