Ron and his two sons recently did a wonderful job installing our kitchen backsplash. Not only did they do a beautiful job, they were very punctual and reliable. Ron is super responsive and always returns phone calls and text messages promptly. Before deciding to go with Ron, we called several other tile contractors throughout the valley, some of which took days to call us back, some were no shows, and others never bothered to call us back at all. Needless to say, it was a welcomed relief to have finally found someone we can rely on and call on for any tile work we may need in the future. We are so pleased with the outcome and would recommend them to anyone. They are stand up, honest guys and we look forward to using them for future projects. read more

Ron and his team (including his two sons) - did a tremendous job with a very complicated installation in our home in Indian wells. Hardwood border pattern with 18 inch tile inserts - on a concrete floor with two different thickness materials - a job not for the faint hearted. We got quite a few quotes and his was among the lower end - but more importantly we knew instantly we could trust him - given the job was going to be completed when we were not around at all to review the work this was important. They completed this weekend - and then we came home - wow !!!!!! .... this installation completely transformed our home - we could not be happier and wholeheartedly recommend these guys. read more

Ron and his sons really know tile, these guys were great! They went way above and beyond expectations. Not once did they say, 'no we can't do that...' From the moment Ron bid the project to the day they finished, they really did a great job. I started a whole house remodel (4000sf) in January 18', Ron and his sons did the teardown, tile throughout, rebuilt the showers and laid stack stone around the family room fireplace (hopefully they post some of the pics!). They are reliable and detail oriented. They recommended a material supplier and helped us get the best price possible, as well as picked up everything and delivered it to the job site. Ron, Steven and Aaron installed 1700 sqft of 12" x 24" straight edge tile in our home and did an amazing job. Our 1963 concrete slab was cracked, uneven and suffered a major earthquake, but you would never know it when you look at the tile. Our home also has a 62' sight line from our garage door through our entire home to the back of the master bedroom, which took 32 tiles. Not one of them is out of align and they are all perfectly straight. Steven did an amazing job cutting freehand the tile around our quartz stone fireplace. After a horrible experience with one tile company and one who turned our down our job ( it was to difficult), we are so lucky to have been referred to these guys. They work clean, leave the job site clean, and make sure that you can live in your home while this is going on. When we remodel the 2 bathrooms, they will be back to finish. read more

Call now!!! You won't be disappointed! I was looking to rip out the current carpet, stone and tile in my common areas. I had called a few referrals as well as a "friend" to bid the job and I got nothing but let down. No shows. Out of budget bids. Etc. Finally I got on yelp and found Ron Fields. He came out the same evening, looked at the project and had me a bid the next morning! His bid was in my budget. He was HIRED! He started the demo on a Friday afternoon and him and his sons were done on Tuesday morning (Sunday was a no work day due to city code). They did a fantastic job. My mother, who doesn't say much saw the floors and even said they are gorgeous. I plan on having Ron come back to do my master bathroom early next year. I've also already passed his name and number onto a friends mother. He is my go too for any future projects! Ron is honest, reliable and affordable!!!! read more

Ron and sons Aaron, Stephen and grandson Isaiah, tiled our MBA, and it turned out beautiful. His price was very competitive, so paying him more than unproven and lower priced tile guys wasn't worth it to us. When Ron wasn't on site, he was always available via phone and/or text, which we never needed anyway - Stephen and Aaron know their stuff. Stephen handles the plumbing too, which included installation of a new shower mixer valve and a new toilet. It was great not having to coordinate with a 3rd party plumber for those steps. They also cleaned up thoroughly at project's end. We plan to use Ron for our guest bath in the near future. Very nice people, which doesn't hurt. read more

We hired Ron to install tile in two master suites on short notice. He was able to give us an estimate and begin on the same day we called him. He finished within a few days (and as promised) and he did an excellent job. He is clean, easy to deal with and reasonably priced. Ron was an amazing find and I will never use anyone else for tile work! He did work at my vacation home in Palm Desert. He and his son tiled my living & dining room, kitchen and master bath. His work is beautiful - and he has great design ideas. Nothing is a problem for him (which is so refreshing!) and he even hung shelving in my kitchen when my other contractor was out of town! His price for labor was by far the best I could find and with his contractor discount my tile bill was so much smaller than expected. He's a great guy to work with - shows up when promised, does the work and even texted me photos along the way since I was not present. I am bringing him to San Diego to work on my primary home remodel as I will not use any other tile contractor!!! We choose Ron based on all of his great reviews. The project started fine, we are in Joshua Tree and Ron was willing to come out and do our tile project. We had Ron install Spanish tile in our 2300 sq. ft house. It looks great in a few places so we expected it to be consistent throughout the house but its not. There are large areas where the floor does not even look sealed, large areas where dirt looks like it has been rubbed into the tile, cracked tiles in the bathroom where no one has been walking since we had not moved into the house yet, swipe marks where it looks shiny but the area around it looks matte, swirling that looks like dirt was not cleaned off of the floor before sealer was added, etc. We talked to Ron about it and he said that it's hard to tell how when you leave with wet sealer what it will look like which made sense but after coming back multiple times and either making it worse or no different at all, we are at a loss at what to do. We are trying to get over it but we paid a lot of money for this floor and every time I see it, I am incredibly disappointed with the areas that don't look good which happen to be main areas of the house. read more

I wish I had a five star experience to share but just the opposite. Ron demo'd our tile floors (1100 sq ft.) in our condo in Palm Springs in Oct. 2016. Within months 2 tiles had cracked and many of them sounded hollow at the corners. One year later many of the expensive quartz tiles are lifting up off the mud at the corners. Some have come up completely and the tile company trying to repair the mess has told us they were not installed properly. Quartz tile needs to be coated on the underside with an adhesive material and allowed to dry before setting on the mud. Apparently this step was not done, hence the lifting tiles all over the condo. I called Ron and had him come out and look, he just insisted he had done the job properly. We asked for half our money back to pay for repairs, he said he would call back after considering our request. Needless to say, he has not bothered to contact us. I am sad, disgusted and facing putting in a whole new floor. read more
