I had a custom oak sign that I needed to ship to my cousin in Oregon that was about 3X4 ft sq. My…read moreson had made it as a surprise Birthday gift and he warned me that shipping it might be problematic as it was oversized and quite heavy. I took it here and they took one look and said " No Problem at all"! I had an errand to run and they were busy, so since it was only around 2:00, I asked if I could just come back before 6:00 and settle up. They said, "Fine", and I went off to buy a small chest of drawers and a desk chair in Santa Rosa. All went fine and I was on my way back by 3:00, when, as I was tapped on my left rear bumper as I turned right by a box truck who kept on going, but he pushed me up onto a curb and blew my right front tire out. I limped off of Piner, around the corner into a church parking lot to inspect the damage and the tire was shredded! The wheel seemed OK, so I called AAA, who arrived in fifteen minutes, but had to unload all the furniture to get to the tire! He said "Not to worry, you wouldn't believe what I have seen in people's trunks!" Then my husband arrived and tested it for alignment, and I told him I needed to get back to the UPS store by 6pm and it was 5:45! I raced back, but was fifteen minutes late!! I wrote a note explaining WHY I was late and used bandaids from the car first aid kit to tape it to the front door so they would not think I was a deadbeat and said I would be back the next day to pay up, knowing this was a big job and they earned their money! They called the next day saying they got my note and not to worry, the only thing was, because they had to close out the accounts from the day before, I would now have to pay with cash instead of a credit card. No problem--I was going to pay with cash all along any way, but she was nice enough to give me a heads up, just in case. Really good customer service. I got there as soon as I could, and paid up, apologizing profusely, and they kept saying they weren't worried, as long as I wasn't hurt. I was fine. They must have spent all afternoon packing that sign, because they said it would get there on Tuesday, but it actually arrived on Monday! My cousins were nice enough to video the entire unpacking process, and OMG! We had discussed that it wouldn't need much, since it's just a solid oak sign, but it was double wrapped in large bubble wrap and taped. And then wrapped around in cardboard, and taped, and then put into a custom made box! They did a beautiful job! It took Rick seven minutes with a utility knife to get it out of there AND he loved it! So I am eternally grateful for their customer service as well as their expertise. I have been recycling my peanuts, air pillows and bubble wrap there for ages, but this is the first really BIG shipment I have made. I usually just drop off a little package. This was ginormous...and I am SO grateful. I tried to post a picture of the sign, but I guess I'm not that tech savvy...

I was tasked to print a photo and have it framed within a couple of days, tops. I went to The Lab and met Jennifer. What a lovely woman and helpful, accommodating, friendly, creative, and suggestive. A real pro, she was able to tell me what sizes would work according to what we have and what photoshopping can do. We decided on something , I ran to get a frame, and she put the whole thing together, charging hardly anything for all the things-- rush job, putting the finished product into the matting and frame, etc. I also met her partner (I assume), another woman, and Jennifer told me, "We are a small business, it's just she and me." Cool! I will be returning to this business for future projects and I recommend you consider them for your printing needs!

Lester, in response to your reply, your associate was rude and defensive from the moment I called,…read moreI even thought I had a wrong number with her monotone and rude way of answering the phone and had to call back. I didn't even have time to press her for an answer. She hung up on me. You must not have read my last message to you three weeks ago as I had stated that I didn't care to point the blame at anyone as your employee was rudely defending herself and denying everything. I simply wanted to know what the next steps would be and how to solve this problem but she hung up before I could finish asking that. Then refused to answer when I called back. The last known whereabouts of that package was at your store. You told me in a private message that it was picked up at 2:30 pm but you refused to show me receipts or proof that it was picked up. You failed to answer the questions I had asked in those private messages. You failed to follow up with me to try to de-escalate this problem. But your concern about your associates feelings rather than a customer's satisfaction is very telling. I had every right to be upset. The representative from the FedEx office that I spoke with today even confirmed that you let that package sit there for three weeks. Seems like she knew you've done something like that before. Yes, this case is closed. Mystery solved. You kept our package in your office until two days ago. You can deny it all again and gaslight, but that just makes you look even worse. Please do not reply to me again. *************** I am updating my previous review because I now know what actually happened to our shipment. It's a shame that I had to find out this information on my own rather than from Lester and his associates. A FedEx 2Day envelope containing vehicle registration tags was dropped off at this location on June 16. It was supposed to arrive on June 18 but wasn't delivered until July 9. During that time, my husband and I drove the vehicle from Las Vegas to Boston with expired registration tags because the tags never arrived. We carried DMV paperwork throughout the trip and worried about being stopped in multiple states. While we were traveling, I called this location to ask why the package had not moved. Instead of looking into it, the employee was dismissive, defensive, rude, and abruptly ended the call. After the envelope was finally delivered, I contacted FedEx directly. The representative investigated the shipment and informed me that the package had never left this office and was not picked up until July 7. She also had to apologize on behalf of this office and that a payment was made for $70 for two-day shipping and received it more than three weeks later. The delay itself was bad enough. Being dismissed when I called seeking help was even worse. Had someone taken a few minutes to investigate instead of acting defensive and more concerned about their associate being questioned and ending the conversation, we would have had answers weeks earlier.
