That's such exciting news, dining room finally open for limited hours see photo. All day on Friday we visited twice in a week, One of our favorite Metro Detroit eating spots. Next visit Friday a full house, got Salmon Patties Eggs n Grits with side of Collard Greens WOWED. She had a mega Skewer of Chicken Kebab for the Win. Decades of real Southern Food always, the Fried Chicken, Catfish our all time favorite. Going back this Friday for the Seafood Platter very best around town. Easy to find on Wayne road corner of Wick it's just north of 1-94. Dining room open till 2pm everyday, closed on Sunday and all day Friday. Takeout only after 2 pm till close at 8 pm. Yum. We were in town for weekend and the weather was crappy. Rain rain rain. We had all kinds of plans but who wants to go out in the rain. So we were staying a few miles up the road from this spot. We came for breakfast and dinner in the same day despite the restaurant that was right in the hotel lobby. Breakfast: my guy n me too are pretty particular on eats. We asked ten thousand questions. Changed our order a few times. Staff was fast n friendly. We had the dollar size pancakes sausage, eggs, n the best homefries i have had in a while. I mean a good while. That food was hot seasoned n very darn good. I took my leftovers home n warmed up those home fries this morning trying to figure out how they got them so tender but crispy. Pancakes are the bomb. So failing at getting a reservation at Benihanas. Thank goodness I hate that place but babe loves it. We ordered from here again for dinner. Catfish n hushpuppies were delicious. Got a side of hummus. Yummy. Babe got lamb chops n he wasn't as pleased but loved his side salad n baked potato. I added on some brownies. Delicious also. Staff thanked us for coming back so soon. Spent $30 for dinner for 2 v $100 at Benihanas n got back early to enjoy our in room jacuzzi with no 2 hour wait. My guy did not mind missing Benihana. Recommended if your in the area. Especially breakfast.

Had breakfast here one frigid, snowy morning. Ordered the Spinach and Swiss omelette - added mushrooms and onions to the omelette, plus a side of corned beef hash and coffee. Everything was pretty tasty. Hash had a nice crisp layer on top - just the way I like it. Coffee was pretty good. Service was friendly. I'd eat here again. Please note they do not accept American Express here.

Looking for a great place for breakfast and stumbled upon this restaurant. It was a great find. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast cooked to perfection and in large portions. The restaurant is situated on the main strip in a modest brick building. The owner greeted us and helped find a table. Perfectly sized restaurant. Not too big or too small. Friendly service and a nice hometown atmosphere inside with tables and comfy booths. Great parking. This is a must visit if you are in the area and looking for a place to dine.

They have some great drinks here other than cider though too. We started with the mac and cheese balls. Small portion of six and they were bland unless you dunked it into the sauce. Where was the pepperjack? Not bad but not what we were expecting. Dinner itself was fabulous. My husband loved his shrimp tacos. Generous with both protein and toppings. I went with the Ahi tuna California bowl. Huge bowl full of rice, crisp fresh veggies, creamy avocado and a solid portion of perfectly seared tuna. I loved both the sauces and mixing and matching each bite. The halved cherry tomatoes, shedded carrot and crunchy cucumbers really provided that textural contrast and colorful appeal. Yum. Service was fast, accurate and friendly. Atmosphere was very sports bar still but airier and brighter somehow. Plenty of TVs with the Masters on though. We took a prime rib dip sandwich to my dad and a cobb salad to my mom and they were equally delighted. My husbands already thinking about which app we'll try next time. We will be back soon.
