It depends on who is working. They always mess up my husband's order but my food is always good.

Great atmosphere, best nachos ever love their house made cheese sauce. Great beer. Go at happy hour so worth it.

This is excellent BBQ!! We had the ribs and brisket. The ribs were competition, blue ribbon good! The salad was crisp and fresh. My friend had baked potato that she said was perfect. The 1/2 cob of corn was just right. The brisket was Amazing!! All the meats had exactly the right amount of smoke, not too much, just right. Our waitress was friendly and took good care of us. The prices were in line with standards for the quality and this area. The food came very timely. Kudos to the new management!! We are going back next week. We will be regulars there. read more

Don't bother. They were out of ribs and brisket when we got there. So we tried a burger and the chicken dinner instead. The burger was overcooked and the chicken was like jerky it was so overdone. We sent the chicken back and they gave us a small piece of tri-tip to compensate? The sides were pretty bad too. Never again! read more

Pretty good food for Lake County. Enjoyed the burgers and the Mac and cheese was superb. Service was a little slow... only one person working on a Saturday evening. But she was very polite and we were eventually well taken care of. Will most likely return while we are here in town working. read more

I loved my meal! ( Baked Potato with a Cesar Salad) I enjoyed the atmosphere and thought the girls were very friendly. This is a family & friends place. Very nice! Well sized (portions) I have no complaints!! Must try! Especially for the locals. Clean and inviting. read more

The food was really good, but there was no beer. I love the fact the tartar sauce had capers in it. BUT there was no beer!

Great customer service but again the food was garbage I got steak nachos and the meat is fucking raw.The guy cook in there sucks and should be fired and fired again to never work at a food place that's how bad his food is read more

they have the best, in county, TRI TIP DIP sandwich and one of the best cole slaws

First time eating here. The atmosphere was ok. Our waitresses were nice, but the food wasn't that great. I'm not super picky either. I got a baked potato and it was not hot, it was warm and when I say warm, my butter didn't melt all the way. People in my party said the fries are not good at all. I gave it a 2 star rating because I did like our waitresses. read more

This restaurant has the best service and the most delicious food you could ask for. Also, this restaurant has great beer and other drinks. I highly recommend eating here you will definitely not regret it! read more

Not that good and very over priced. I asked for sauce on the sides and the ribs came slathered and drenched in way too much sauce. Not worth it read more

The service was terrible the waitress gave us our drink then didn't check at back to see if we needed refills. The food is mediocre for the price the ribs were so dry thought I was eating a beef jerky. Would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. read more

My husband & I ordered food to pick up, both ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwiches with fries, husband got there & got in line, waited....and waited & then waited some more while 2 other couples that came in after him were helped. when he got home and opened up our food, fries were smashed into small paper cups and soggy, and no cheese on the cheese steak.....why the heck would they not put cheese on a sandwich that comes with cheese....that's the whole point of getting a cheese steak. All that was there was chunks of very dry flavorless meat and veggies, and the portions got way smaller. Not good, this place needs to get their shit together, always inconsistent, not going back. read more

Worst BBQ I have ever tried. Mac 'n' cheese had no flavor or salt, medium rare burger was well done and dry, fries were soggy and garlic bread was stale. I am not sure I could make a whole meal this bad on purpose. read more

We ate there a couple of weeks ago and it tuned into a fiasco .. First we are told to sit anywhere, they didn't bring or come and take drink orders, then a group of 7 came in and they waited on them first, no big deal.. Then some young people came in with their dog and were told they had to go out on the patio. Then some people of 6 came in with a small dog in arms and they said nothing. So my husband went over and told the waitress and she said they are deaf and it is a service dog. She didn't ask to see papers or anything.. So we paid our bill and when we left my husband told them we wouldn't be back, and their answer was ok that is your choice. It wouldn't have been so bad except they made the one guys sit outside with his dog and let these people stay inside, my question is what if I had an allergy to dogs. I feel they have an outside patio and that is where the dogs should be. The food was good, but missing corn and bread!!! read more

Oh Boy Nice, CA. has a new restaurant and I love it. It used to be Marina Grill now it's Romi's. BBQ ribs, tri tip, burgers, fish and chips, salads, some pasta, and sandwiches. I had the fish and chips (I know it's a bbq but just felt like it) they were hot not too much batter and home cut fries oh yeah. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich really liked it. Our waitress was on top of it all. filling drinks asking us if we needed anything we were well taken care of. Miguel the owner was really nice hard working man. I read some of the reviews and there were some bad ones try it out for yourself first then see if you like it. read more

After driving through clear lake and everything is closed we came upon this bbq. A bit skeptical we stopped in and were pleasantly surprised. The best pulled prime sandwich I've ever had. Also the tri tip dip was awesome!!! Served on garlic bread which I've never had and it was amazing!!!!! I definitely recommend this place if you like to eat bbq!!!!! read more

If you're looking for good BBQ, then this is the place. Great food, decent portions, and some of the friendliest service around.

Sad town, sad food, warm beer, even the waitress seemed sad. Came on a really hot day and it wasn't busy so we sat down and ordered 2 beers on tap. Beers came in a warm glass making the beer unappealing in a matter of minutes. Food was ok but nothing special. The pulled pork tastes better by adding more bbq sauce, which isn't a compliment. Also we were staying at Worldmark and they recommended this place in their brochure, which is a quick 5 to 6 minute walk...unfortunately you walk next to the highway past shantys, trailers and abandoned buildings. Very depressed area and didn't feel safe. read more

Our waitress was friendly and checked in on us often. There were only about 3 other tables filled on a Saturday afternoon though. We went in thinking we would just grab a drink and an app. However I was curious if it may actually be any good. The few years I have been in Lake County has led me to believe that mediocrity at restaurants was normal around here, with one or two exceptions. So I felt adventurous and ordered the pork ribs. Husband got tri-tip burger with a side of the chili. First off, I got 5 ribs, one was an end piece with very little meat. They didn't even bother rubbing them or seasoning them. The sauce was meh, not horrible but definitely not good. There was only one choice of sauce also. They were a little dry as mentioned by another poster, so I'm guessing that's normal for this place. The husband liked his burger. He couldn't even finish it all. He said the tri-tip on the burger was pretty good. The chili....there are no words. He went against the advice of a friend to steer clear of the chili, because he had to find out for himself. Let me tell you, my husband is the least picky eater I know. Even if he doesn't like something, he will finish it so he doesn't waste the money spent. He couldn't get past two spoonfuls. It was that bad. The milkshake that my daughter ordered was great though. She loved it. They serve in a tall sundae cup with whipped cream and a cherry on top. I would go here again to try the tri-tip dip sandwich, but I'd steer clear of any of the bbq. The onion strings were pretty good, standard, though we're a little cold. read more

Best brisket ever hands down!!!! No matter how you have it whether as a sandwich or on its own it OUTSTANDING!! Staff is great, and place very clean. read more

Romi's is always an easy GO-TO. I usually order for pick up and it's always just as good after the drive. Some dishes are better than others (don't expect to be impressed by the Mac & cheese) but the burgers and fries are delicious. I ordered a whole farm burger and a pulled pork sandwich, both were BOMB. They used garlic bread for the pulled pork sandwich. The pork was delicious, smoky, tender, and very flavorful. The burger was so good and the garlic mayo paired perfectly with the egg and onion strings. I've taken my out of town family here to dine in and they were quite pleased! A steak didn't come out correct the first time but the waitress encouraged us to request a new one, so we did. I'd say every trip has been excellent. Friendly and FAST service and great food. read more

Good food, nice friendly staff. Had the Philly Cheese steak. Place was pretty full and busy but the food still came out fast. I'll be back for sure. read more

the food is good but they close to early. the web page says they close at ten i went there at eight thirty and they were closed that pissed me off read more

My tri tip was cold and tasteless, the au jus sauce needed lots of salt. The mac and cheese was watery and tasteless, it seemed like something out of a box. My friends couldn't eat their burgers. It was a major disappointment. They said they had a Romi's blond ale, their only in house beer was really River Run. I would not recommend this place. read more

Great service, good food, good price, huge portions and open for the right hours... Nice is lucky to have a place like this in a food desert. We had the combo plate with pork ribs, beef ribs and chicken, Avocado Ortega Burger and Pulled Pork sandwich. Good fries, spicy chili and a good BBQ sauce. read more

Delicious BBQ. Amazing service glad we followed Yelp to this place. Pulled pork sandwich with hand cut fries sooo good. Tri tip with potato corn and salad also yummy. Great start to our weekend get away. read more

I loved the hand cut fries.I ordered the avocado burger. The burger was cooked perfect but not seasoned and they forgot to put the avocado on my burger. My friend ordered the Tri tip sandwich. She said it was just okay and the onion fries lacked seasoning. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.I would give this place a second chance to see if our next visit were any better. read more

Awesome! I had the pork ribs that just fell off the bone and my husband had a rib eye steak that melted in your mouth. The sides were your regular stuff - baked potato, cole slaw, or corn on the cob - However the chili was made with tri-tip and had just enough kick; I'm not a chili eater but this one I'll come back for. read more

I was really pleasantly surprised. We were just passing through town and though their Yelp review was only 3 stars it was close, open and convenient so we decided to give it a try. The staff was attentive and the ribs were great. Their coleslaw was bomb too. We sat on the patio and the smell of the smoker and the views of the lake totally made the experience. I can't believe they only have 3 stars! read more

Stoped here on the way home from a day on a remote farm, in the middle of the Corona Virus shelter-in-place hysteria engulfing NorCal. Place was empty, save the cook and manager who told me they only do take out due to the situation. I was way to hungry to care. Ordered the Brisket dinner - Meat, corn on the cob, garlic roll and two sides for less than $15!!!!! I'm from the SF Bay Area and I can barely get an appetizer for that price down here. My meal also came with Au Jus and two cups of BBQ sauce (spicy-sweet and regular). Had my late lunch by the lake, enjoying the view, the breeze, the fresh air and the good food. Brisket was tender and moist, just they way it should be. Fries were done well. Garlic bread had plenty of flavor and the BBQ sauce was great (didn't try the Au Jus or regular sauce). I finish my plate like Grandma drilled into me but since it was such a big lunch, I would have gladly taken a nap on the lake if I didn't have another stop and 3 hrs of driving back home. Great food and nice staff! Will absolutely go out of my way to eat there again. read more

Excellent happy hour. Pints are $4 for craft beers. We order one of everything for half price apps. Wings were wonderful. Had Carolina and honey bbq. The loaded nachos are a must read more

Much better after like one bad visit, reasonable prices, good food, wide variety, plenty of room to not be crowded in too.

I was a regular until recently (last night was the last time). I have steered clear of most items on the menu, mostly because I've heard so many complaints by other locals about the quality of their meat, and that it's not smoked, even though they claimed it was. Many of my friends complained about the food being over cooked, and under cooked, and returned to the cook for further cooking. The only item on the menu I enjoyed was their hamburger, and homemade french fries. Until two weeks ago the cost was $7.99, but last night it was nearly $12.00, with the sales tax included.....Had I known, I would have saved several dollars by having a hamburger somewhere else, any where else would be cheaper. read more

I normally like the food there but this morning the ham on my eggs Benedict was not good. I was a few bites in when I tasted the soreness in the ham. It has made me sick. My boyfriend's scrambled eggs were runny. read more

I had the smoked salmon salad and it made me sick. The tap beer is expensive and very limited choices are available. The server was very polite and nice but the quality of food doesn't earn the place more than 1 star. read more
