The last time I went there was 4 weeks ago and unfortunately I will not go there again. My partner went there (he's also been there before) looking to see if I was there because I told him I was going there to retrieve my umbrella I had left there the night before. He was treated quite disrespectfully, even was threatened to have the cops called if he didn't get out of "his " parking lot. Mind you, this was during the day and my partner wasn't causing any trouble, he was just looking for me. This act alone was enough for me to decide that I wouldn't go there again. I understand people have bad days but when they are in service industry, you need to check that shit at the door before you start your shift. After all, the customer is paying their salary. As part of the celebration, my brother and his fiancée paid Ana, the owner of Ana's Cantina, thousands of dollars to reserve space for a small after-party following the wedding. A few days before the event, my brother met with Ana to discuss the arrangements. Unfortunately, the interaction was extremely disrespectful and left our family feeling completely unwelcome. She referred to our family as "cheap" because we were not also providing food and music for what she described as a "dive bar." She also stated that she would be charging every person for water. As a customer, I have never experienced that level of disrespect from an establishment owner. Then, after the wedding reception, we arrived expecting the space we had paid for to be reserved for the wedding party. Nothing had been reserved or set aside for us. After spending thousands of dollars, the way our family was treated was incredibly disappointing and embarrassing. The only person who showed any decency toward us was the bouncer, who was kind and respectful throughout the situation. I cannot recommend this establishment. When someone pays thousands of dollars for a reserved event, they should be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Ana, you had every opportunity to make this a positive experience, and instead our family left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Shame on you.
