Awesome food and amazing service for one waiter bussing tables and taking care of everyone at lunch time Kelly is awesome.

Was a little skeptical at first because of the low reviews but so glad we ate here anyways! Food was delicious! Great timely service! I took a risk and ordered the smoked salmon salad. I normally don't order salmon at restaurants because it's never cooked to my liking but this was perfection! read more

Burnt fries, tritip philly cheesesteak dry, over smoked jerky meat! Inconsistent as usual! Won't be back . Thanks Tiffany for not calling me back. read more

Ribs were tender and tasty but the brisket was tough and sliced three quarters of an inch thick. The sauce served with the brisket was pretty underwhelming as well. read more

Romi's is my restaurant of choice in Lake County, and it is just a few miles from my home! The food is great- I always order the pulled pork sandwich with the tri tip chili and I am never disappointed. My husband orders different items every time we eat there and enjoys each meal. The portions are huge which means I don't have to cook the next day. Another "win" for me! The service is great! My husband usually orders coffee in the colder weather months. When the waitress saw us pulling into the restaurant, she put on a fresh pot of coffee so it would be hot and fresh for him- where else do you go for service like that? Ever in the past, before she knew us, when he ordered coffee, she waited for him to taste it and if it was too strong or taste old, she immediately made a new pot for him. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The servers are wonderful and the restaurant is clean(I always check corners and restrooms every where I eat- I assume if there are spider webs, then the employees didn't care.) I have never seen either spider webs nor an unclean restroom at Romi's. If you like BBQ and a clean, friendly place is what you like, try Romi's. it might be a bit of a drive for some, but you won't be disappointed! read more

My Wife and I eat there often , for breakfast , lunch and dinner. For breakfast you can not beat the amount and goodness of the food at a decent price. Lunch and dinner are good. On a few occasions the meat was a bit over done, but the waitresses are very good and if you send it back , they return with just really great food. Have only had to send back once. The place is super friendly read more

We took a day trip to Lake County today and wanted to grab a bite before heading home. We stopped here because we had the dog with us and I could run in and grab some food to go and eat outside. When ordering, I mentioned I was thinking about getting a treat for the dog and decided against it. They get five stars because the food was really good and the service was great. Without saying anything, they had added a little container with some meat in it, chopped, with a note, "For the puppy". We both had the brisket sandwich, with the chili on the side. We added an order of the onions strings when I saw some headed to a table and they looked great. They were. Sandwich was simple and very good. A nice grilled roll, and a good amount of brisket. BBQ sauce on the side. Chili, with tried tip in it, was really good too. Great service, good food...5 stars. Glad we stopped there and would again. read more

I definately would not recommend this place to anyone who likes good food. The burger i got wasn't seasoned as well as every other thing I've ordered there before. Fries were soggy and cooked in old oil. I dont usually leave reviews like this, but this place is pretty bad. read more

This has to be one of the worst places ever. I had fish and chips that were mediocre at best and made me nauseated. I'm only giving it 1 star because my boyfriend was happy with his pulled pork sandwich, but that was the end of it. Otherwise I'd give no stars. The worst part was the service. The waitress/bartender cannot multitask in the slightest. While we were ordering she just stopped paying attention because she was looking out the window. After being served warm beer I asked for a glass of wine. And had to wait for her to make my dinner salad and bring it to the table, then take orders from a different table and get their drinks, before she brought mine. When it finally did come it was in a dirty glass. Same with getting another drink or BBQ sauce or anything really. We were sitting next to a window and there were a ton of dead mosquitos and flies on the window sill. You could tell they had been there for a long time because they were covered in dust. We will never come back. read more

I have been ordering to pick up. Their inconsistent with their meat on the pulled pork sandwich. You keep getting less and less. Also the fries weren't cooked. They have now stopped using containers for their food they wrap your sandwich which makes it soggy and put your fries in a small cup with a lid so you get way less now. Very disappointed. Won't ever go back. read more

Don't let the outside fool ya. This place is so good! What a find! The staff is super nice too. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was delish. read more

My wife and I get to eat out together about once a month. On our way back from Blue Lakes we decided to stop and try the food here. The prices seemed decent enough for a good BBQ so we proceeded. I ordered the ribs and she ordered the chicken. Ribs were good enough. Not great just good enough. I noticed my wife had been eating much slower then her usual hungry self and decided to try her chicken. Um. It was so dry as soon as you put a bite in your mouth your entire mouth was instantly dry. It took quite a while to chew and swallow just the 1 bite. Probably the worst I have eaten anywhere. Instead of complaining we just paid and left thinking if this place would be willing to serve food that way then there was no reason to concern ourselves anymore. DO NOT EAT HERE. read more

I have been here twice and both times I loved it. Good food fair price with excellent service. I highly recommend it.

The sign says they close at 9pm, we arrived at 8:20pm with a rude welcome from the waitress when we walked in. We sat down, got menus & she took our drink order & never came back to our table. We got up twice to get her attention (mind you it wasn't busy) & she kept us waiting for over 30 minutes. Finally when we got her attention she told us we could order to go since they were closed. I don't know why she didn't say she wouldn't serve us from the beginning instead of wasting our time. Needless to say this is the first & last time my family, friends & I will be coming here to eat. read more

My brother and I went here for what we hoped would be a great barbecue meal. What we received was not what we wanted. The ribs were so over cooked that the crust, or burnt top, was tougher than the bones. In other words, if you took a bite of the rib you had to be careful not to get bone. When we showed this to our server, Salia, she just grinned and walked away. All attempts to talk with the owner have been unsuccessful. If you go here, do not order the ribs. read more

In town on business for a couple of days with 3 other people, we ate at Romi's 3 times and are very happy with the food and service. I can recommend the Brisket Sandwich. The brisket is moist and tender. The smoke ring is clearly visible and the smoke flavoring is perfect, not overpowering and with a great flavor. The bread has a great flavor and is an excellent balance for the brisket. I had a Farmers Omelet for breakfast that was a treat. The portions are large, satisfying and the prices reasonable. We also sampled some of their on tap brews that were ice cold and served appropriately. The locals are friendly and they like Romi's enough to return on a regular basis which says to me, Romi's must be consistently good. They have TVs with a quiet enough atmosphere that we could easily converse. The people that work there are friendly and happily accommodating. The place is clean and comfortable. They have a smoker adjacent to the outside patio dining area in front and to the side of the building that produces an irresistible aroma. My associates and I highly recommend Romi's to everyone. read more

We live in Nice on the lake just blocks away and loved going to this place WHEN IT WAS "Marina Grill"...it was 4 Star food then..sadly it's NOW A JOKE and far over rated by a few reviews I read. WE have tried this Romi's a few times in hope's as it got established it would get better..not the case. WE have used this place for "To Go Orders" only because it's not comfortably clean inside and its now a bar inviornment, not what I would call a place to bring family & kids for sure. A BBQ place is supposed to be able to BBQ..our Tri Tip is always tough, no flavor, sides are very small and most men like french fries..well my husband was able to count his string type fries..20 skinny fries in a little container. My Coleslaw had NO dressing on it at all..as if it was just poured from the bag..I had to make a sauce when I got home to eat the slaw. My husband didn't want to go there anymore, a 45 yr. resident, however I decided to try one more time...the Waitresses have each time argued with me when I brought to their attention my complaints ''stating they don't make the rules and the changes have been for months..as if I, the customer am lying about complaints previously made. I was told this last time "sorry your not pleased we have lots of business and customers".. so basically we don;t NEED our business. I have said on two occasions people are not pleased and are going elsewhere..the waitress argued that's not happening.. I could give a list of the many that no longer will go there and feel Romi's will not make it here in Nice as is. WE are on that list now. I would recommend EVENING ROSE as the best breakfast & lunch place to go..and if you really want GOOD BBQ there's an excellent place near the Booneville Exit called "Hamburger Ranch BBQ"...more than 5 stars for sure(Pet friendly out in the patio area)..or.. The Broiler headed towards Willits.. more than 5 Star. Now those I recommend are REAL BBQ places that KNOW HOW to BBQ meats...the meat melts in your mouth, the sides are many to choose from & generous in size. The service at the other two establishments are excellent.. At Romi's my order is never as I request..so why bother anymore...why pay alot for something I could get at the freezer dept. at the grocery store & a bag of coleslaw in produce..the Chili Beans are tasteless but have some heat to them..maybe Cayenne Pepper..not sure. I, as well as many other's will not support this Romi's place or it's arrogant waitresses. Hopefully something good will come in when Romi's fails..unfortunately for them. We were not aware of a Romi's in Ukiah, good to know...won't be wasting our money or time. read more
