But if you want to be served by one of the best, happiest, competent barkeeps ever, go on Saturdays when Makela is working there. It's no secret that life is what you make it, so I found the crowd friendly and easy to talk to. I hope the rest of world discovers the 'no secret'.

I suggested maybe turning the entire box off next time to avoid one's wasting their money. Seemed like a cool place at first but that very much dampened the mood and we closed out immediately and left. Won't be back again. I recommend working on customer service and not having your "employees" run a bar in the opposite direction that aren't even on the clock...

It was a Wednesday just before noon, there was one table there already, and we ended up as the only diners. It must be the case that the bees that make the ambiance, because when we walked in it had the top end of the cafeteria look for its chairs and tables. The service was attentive, but there was always 'something' that made me on edge. Maybe it was the heavy amount of fruit flies, or the sneezing and coughing coming from the kitchen, or maybe the oom-pah Mexican music (which I generally love) which was a total disconnect in a Spanish Tapas place. Where was the nylon string guitar music? In all fairness the food saves this place. A solid 4 star that can be described as 5 stars. If I lived in Ukiah, I would go back when the bees are buzzing. So yes, I got PERMISSION FROM A MAN to use the restroom. What year is it that I am treated like a second class citizen because I am a woman.
