Literally, the slowest service that I've ever experienced. Normally I would've walked out, but I was with the family on a long trip and it would've been a ways before the next restaurant.. we waited, no exaggeration... for an hour to get our food. When we asked the girl why it's taking so long she said there's a bigger party outside. That made it feel like we were not important "my wife and my two kids". The attitude of everybody was good. The only reason why I gotta give it such a low rating as I don't expect we would normally get served this slow. Seems like they cater strongly to the locals, but not to travelers. Maybe if you're a local you get great service here. Beware if you're traveling. If we're only judging the food would probably be five stars. My wife loved the hamburger country. Potatoes were awesome my son who orders the eggs Benedict got his food was great and I had a salad. Maybe we just didn't look hungry enough when we got here? The ambience was three out of five. The energy of the servers made it seem better because of such a long wait time they kept smiling the whole way. Food for thought miss server, if you're too, caught up with the big party, please let your manager know next time. We saw multiple people come in after us and leave before we even got served. At the end, they didn't even discount the meal for the delay. We didn't ask for it, but it's good business to treat all customers like you got a chance to bring them back. We were traveling to Willets specifically to ride the Easter Skunk Train. Got settled in our Airbnb and Headed out to find some dinner. We were looking for a place that would be kid friendly and have cocktails for us! The Munchery met this goal with their outdoor covered patio and casual vibe. Since it was Friday night it was understandably busy. Since we had a little one we were a bit concerned about the wait. Here's where things went wrong. There was one waitress, one bartender and a busboy and they were doing their best. Definitely understaffed. I ordered a lemon drop and my daughter got a margarita. We decided to order our food and beverages at the same time because of the kiddo. Then we waited and waited. Drinks took about 20 minutes. All in all not the relaxing dinner we were hoping for. When the food did come it was very good. The staff was pleasant and apologetic but the owners need to staff up for Friday night. This would be a 3.5 star review if Yelp would let me do that. Excellent quality food and coffee with friendly and attentive service. We had the crepes with ham and the blueberry French toast. Both were prepared to perfection and tasted great. We also had the coffee, which was pretty good for restaurant coffee, dark and strong, without being bitter. Service was friendly and attentive. I guess the best time to eat here is weekend brunch. The everyday menu was sparse. We had wedge salad with dabs of bacon jam which was good, and flat bread which was almost too tough to eat. We wanted the sliders, but they were already out of small buns at 4:00 in the afternoon (they opened at 3:00.) The onion rings were good and the hamburger with bacon jam was fine. The temperature outside was 66° and it was colder inside the restaurant! And lastly, even with only a few customers at the bar and the two of us there was a noisy echo from the bar conversation. Delicious! Had breakfast before heading to San Fran. OMG. Had the French toast which was cooked to perfection. Nothing soggy about this. I got 2 thick slices cut in half with fresh blueberry compote and sliced strawberries dusted with powdered sugar. Yum Yum. Also had the Munchery which is your regular style breakfast. Had the eggs scrambled which were a bright yellow so I thought they probably were free range. The bacon was cooked crisp. The roasted potatoes were sooooo tasty. They seasoned these babies and they were freshly cut and cooked to perfection. Yum yum. This place has been opened less than a month and they know their stuff. The cocktails here are some of the best over ever had! They change them seasonally which I love. The food is amazing too! The chicken Caesar salad was delicious and their eggs Benedict is the best I've ever had. The service is incredible and I love that it's a family owned business. The same family own the gas station next door which is cool and they sell to go stuff there. My only complaint is that it's hard to see from the road there weren't any signs and we almost missed the turn into the parking lot. read more

I am so happy that there is a new place in Willits to eat! My husband and I ate there for dinner on a Saturday night (I recommend making reservations) The food was delicious! We shared the coconut shrimp and Mac & cheese for starters. The entrees were just as good. Wagu sliders were full of flavor, and the cesar salad was large and delicious. Unfortunately it took an hour to get our food. The few people who were working were hustling like crazy to keep up. It is also so noisy in there that you practically have to yell to talk to the person sitting next to you. There is a cute outside eating area in the back with heaters. There is a good selection of drinks also. I recommend the Muncharita I really want this place to succeed!!! Please hire more staff and do something about the acoustics. You are capable of 5 stars. Love this place and sooo happy to finally have a restaurant with awesome food and a full bar in Willits! I've been here for brunch/ happy hour/ and dinner now and it's always been fantastic! Amanda the bartender was so great the other night when my boyfriend and I came in for dinner. Made us some delicious cocktails.
