Good: - The Super burrito with chile verde was amazing, especially after being lightly fried on a pan - I liked all of the ingredients and how they combined - The enchiladas were okay but also just a bit heavy, I liked the flavor and we got them with the carne asada. - Prices are good, and the food came super quickly - good service! Willits seems to just be full of culinary surprises. Yesterday was my first trip to this spot with a friend who is a fan. We were greeted as we walked in and happily shown a physical menu as the electronic one moved faster than I could follow . The smells coming out of the kitchen were heavenly. Happily they give two salsas, a red and green, with chips which these days is a rarity. Both were fresh and tasty as was both of our dishes. Bomb!!! Came in hangry after a long ass drive from Oregon. Left happy with a full stomach! Came in on a Wednesday around 6p. Store itself had a steady trickle of customers, but never piling up. Their phones were ringing off the hook though so you could tell they were busy w to go orders. The guy at the counter was friendly and seemed to know everyone. The motto of "small, but mighty" comes to mind when you visit Taqueria Bravo. There are about seven (7) tables inside, but the food (delicious), service (impeccable), and atmosphere (quaint) were "mighty". The food: chicken tacos (hard and soft shell), fish taco, ceviche tostada and grilled shrimp w/rice and beans were all excellent. They tasted great, seasoned well and left no aftertaste on your tongue. If we could have tried more items, we would have, but my wife and two (2) teenage daughters were stuffed following the above order. The service was impeccable along with extremely clean sitting area. I always wipe down tables and it was so clean. Great job keeping your floors and all dining area clean. The staff was answering the phone while we were ordering ask permission to answer the phone. Wow. Customer Service if a bygone era. They were always there when needed without being intrusive. Finally, the atmosphere was relaxed, family vibe with employees who either owned the place, partial ownership and/ir plain just care about doing a great job. Either way, it was an excellent customer experience. Recommended for anyone looking for a meal north or Santa Rosa, CA coming/going on Hwy 101. Great find and even better respite. read more

It's turned into a sort of tradition that whenever we are passing through Willits, we stop at Taqueria Bravo. We've tried other local restaurants (including the other Mexican food place down the street which is inexplicably closed half time time), but nothing compares to the authentic food and the great people at this eatery. I just recently came in again during COVID-19 and they were following all regulations, including masks, takeout only and limited in-store customers. I assumed this would hurt business, but thankfully the owner told me that business is doing well! So good to hear that a mom and pop small business can catch a break when so many hurdles are thrown in their way. I went with a chicken burrito. Nothing fancy or exotic, I know. Nevertheless, it really is one of the tastier burritos I've had, with some fantastic rice and a really great balance of ingredients and tender meat. Their house salsas are fantastic as well. WIllits isn't a big culinary scene by any means, so consider this as your number one choice next time you roll through town! read more

Hey, given there are a few tacquerias in the small town of Willits, these folks have a 5 star venue! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendly voice and after looking over the menu, opted for their breakfast burrito...eggs and chorizo...oh man, that was a yummy choice. After a short wait, I was enjoying my fresh, hot and delicious meal on their covered bench just outside their restaurant. Good pricing and great eats. So we've seemingly entered into a post pandemic world and surf and turf came to mind and so Carne Asada tacos and Shrimp taco fit that bill with the tacos splitting into 2s with the Steak pilled high and 5 large shrimp making up a Taco I now had the makings of Willits best Steak and Seafood spot with Rigo and Enrique always curtious and gracious to anyone who walks in. This is a walk up counter service place, with a few inside tables and chairs, also a small outside eating area. Place your order at the counter and then grab a drink from the box. Food is prepared quickly even when crowded, never waited more than 15 minutes ever. A great spot to grab a quick cheap lunch, or anytime you're craving good taco truck tacos from a free standing restaurant.
